Looks good and nice floor plan, but all the parts are cheap (breaking all the time) and the holes for the slides are not sealed which allows rodents in quite easily. The electrical panel is positioned directly over a grey water tank. A mouse can get in there and cause havoc, but you can't get in there to fix it without cutting out the floor. It should be criminal to build such a piece of crap. We've only moved it one time, from the dealer to our property, but things fall apart quite easily, can't imagine how much would go wrong if we actually drove it somewhere. We're stuck paying on it for another 10 years, so have to make the best of it, but new buyers beware, the purchase was a HUGE REGRET!

We have been living in this rv for almost 2 years, we have ran into so many problems jus 6 months of having it we have had water pump issues, sensor issues, electrical issues, underbelly tanks have fallen out,and now we run into problems with water heater due to them not winterizing it when we had to take it in for repairs which has been 5 times so far so we had to stay in hotels or relatives. We have had the worst experience so far. Cheaply made 2018 forest river sandpiper!!

My husband and I were looking for something that could be used for lengthy periods of time. Our needs were plenty of storage, room for a washer-dryer, a usable kitchen, and a layout that didn't leave us feeling cramped. The Sandpiper 378FB hit all of those points. The oversized bathroom is what caught our eye, and we have been so happy with it. We can each get ready at the same time, while also having a drying rack set up for our laundry. The separate washer-dryer closet meant that we didn't have to give up any valuable storage in the wardrobe. We were able to get a separate washer and dryer rather than a 2-in-1, which makes laundry much faster. The front wardrobe is larger than the closet in our last apartment. Plus, the built-in shelves are perfect for storing shoes. So many of those corner RV showers left us feeling claustrophobic. This shower feels like it could be in your home. The little bench doesn't take up any of your standing room but is still there if you need it. The double sinks are great, but all of the extra counter space is so much better; you can use it to fold your laundry piles so you can take things straight out of the dryer, fold them, and put them away in the closet without leaving the room. The kitchen may look small, but it offers so much storage space. We've never used up all of it and still have empty drawers. One of our favorite features is where the table and chairs are located. With windows all around you, you get great views while you eat or work. The built-in bookcase is a great little touch, something I had never seen in an RV. If you stay in one place for a few weeks at a time, this is one of the many details in this RV that truly make it feel like home. There are also two sets of shelves on either side of the TV that have doors, so you won't have to pack away your stacks of movies every time you move your RV. Outside, the kitchen makes us the envy of every campground. The drop-down TV always wows, while the extra fridge storage means we don't have to run in and out for drinks while watching a game or hanging out around a campfire. After we bought the RV, we noticed a few small issues, like an outlet that wasn't sitting flush with the wall and our front door that didn't close quite right. We contacted Forest River, took it to our local Camping World within a couple of days, and they had it back to us in hours, free of charge under the manufacturer's warranty. We purchased an additional warranty to cover the electronics, slides, and upholstery, but have never used it in over 2 years of owning the camper. If you're looking for endless amounts of clever storage, from compartments to drawers to the little spaces on the end of the couch that are perfect for storing throw blankets, this RV is definitely for you.

We love the layout of this 5th wheel but that is the best thing about it! We ordered this unit brand new and had a list of 20 items that needed fixed before we could even use it. Just a few of the biggies.. toilet in half bath was only secured by I bolt, rocked when sitting on it. No heating vents connected, had to cut underbelly to get to them. Wide crack in small slide out, you could see daylight. Large slide out off center. Tore both the seals and scraping windows. All lights had to be replaced because the flashed on and off. Water coming from vent ran into underbelly.. had to cut hole to drain it. And the list goes on and on! I know they are manufactured quickly but really they are junk! A company should have better quality control! No excuses!

We bought our unit in April, 2018 and began living in it full-time in June, 2018. In the 1.5 years we have lived in it, we have had several issues including the auto-level, the rear a/c, water valves not shutting, paneling popping from the walls and the slides, among others. Our heater stopped working in January. Some more serious than others. The dealer said they would stand behind our unit but their words were meaningless and we turned to Forest River for help. They have been there for us every step of the way. Their CS rep overnighted the furnace to us so we would not freeze. They have authorized repairs that were done on sight since we live in it full-time. We have been reimbursed in a timely manner each time. Recently, as we were traveling to Ohio, we blew a two trailer tires on two different days. As we were getting the second one repaired, we noticed that the front tires were not wearing evenly and thought that the axle might be cocked. We called our friendly Sandpiper CSR and let him know what happened. He asked if we could bring our unit to Goshen where they could look at it. We also had damage to the skirts on both sides from the tires blowing. Judd met us at the service building where we were leaving it for Dexter Axle Rep to look at. We showed him the damage and he said they would fix a couple of things. When we came back the next day, ALL of the damage had been repaired. (Saving us our deductible x2 for two claims) Dexter had repaired our axle issue which turned out to be a bad spring which was replaced. While working on our unit, Forest River personnel noticed that the back wall had allowed water into the unit. They brought this to our attention and asked if we could stay in town another night so they could replace the back wall. Of course, we said yes. The a/c was replaced about 3 months ago. It wasn’t cooling the unit and had to run constantly. The temperature of the air coming out was 68 degrees, not enough to cool when the outside temp was in the 90’s. Dometic kept saying that the numbers were acceptable. In this case, Judd authorized us to buy a new a/c, have it installed and they would reimburse us. That they did it a very timely manner. Forest River has exceeded expectations with outstanding service that they have provided to us. We are already looking at a new trailer and it will definitely be built by Forest River
