Our Salem hemisphere has been a great camper for me my wife and our grandkids when they visit. The kitchen area is huge for a camper of this size. More than adequate cabinet space in kitchen bathroom and even the bedroom. Bedroom has a large three drawer dresser and wardrobe closet hard to find in a travel trailer. Outside frig and sink a bonus when outdoors. Only issue was the recliners starting to peel (which has been a problem with all types of campers made from 2015-present) We put covers on the backs so not a big deal. Everything else has been perfect. Pulled great with my 1500 ram.

We spend a lot of time traveling with our Salem and it’s a very comfortable travel trailer. We find the floor plan well thought out with a large bedroom and built in desk. There’s lots of room in the living area and it can even accommodate a recliner or two. It has a full size couch that folds out to provide a comfortable bed for an adult or a couple of kids as well as a full size make down dinette. The kitchen is excellent and large compared to most we have seen or owned. There’s a lot of counter space and huge amounts of storage including a pantry. The appliances are spectacular in stainless steel with subway-look back splash design. The automatic refrigerator and water heater make boondocking very comfortable. Both run on electric or gas and switch automatically. The huge 21 foot awning makes lounging or grilling outdoors so much nicer and we often sit out in the evenings to enjoy nature. There’s even a cable outlet for game day if you are “tailgating”. All in all, it’s a large comfortable travel trailer with just about any amenity you can think of for camping or even extended stays for work or whatever your needs are. It’s definitely a home away from home.

This camper was super easy to tow. I pulled with an F150 and no issues. Putting the Murphy bed up and sliding the slide out opened up the interior for a big-camper feel. We did not mind being stuck inside during a 24 hour rain storm because of the open space. The cabinets provided plenty of space to stow supplies and the pantry cabinets made my sis-in-law jealous because of their size and accessability. Even on long trips we had room left over. Would highly recommend this camper for a retired couple or a family with children.

This camper is call a "couples coach" for a reason. Although the dinette table drops for a single bed as most do, only a person or child under 5'7 would sleep comfortable. A very comfortable queen box spring murphy bed! The rear bath is huge and allows one to shower and dress with the door closed. This model year has electric jacks so once level, you push 2 buttons to stabilize the coach. (not level it!) Remote control for awning and jacks so if the coach looses up you can from inside, re-stabilize. Nice feature! This was the last year (2017) for this feature. (people were burning them up trying to level with them I think. Huge amount of storage, I mean huge and rated for approx. You can't overload this trailer as it's Gross weight limit is high. The A/C is efficient. I replaced the bath fan with a Maxifan 7500. (the standard fans are useless. There is nothing I don't like about this camper.

Hi we purchased our Forest River Salem Villa Estate in 2017. We loved it so much that we drive from Michigan to Ohio because we couldn’t find this RV anywhere in Michigan. We dealt with Couch RV Nation in Ohio, which is an wholesale dealer and received a great deal! We received horrible customer service from the time we walked in for our appointment! Numerous staff just walked past us without asking if we needed help or speaking! We found our RV and pointed out to the dealer that there were numerous things that needed to be done to it before we purchased it, loose moldings, sink cover missing just to name a few things. We were told that the RV would be thoroughly inspected before delivery and that everything would be working and taken care of. It wasn’t. When they delivered our RV they didn’t even level it which we later found out would cause major problems with the new Whirlpool refrigerator and it had to be replaced twice!! We found this out by reading the owner’s manual not by the dealer. We had to pay extra for the driver to show us how to operate our new RV and he went so fast that we were still perplexed as to how things worked when he left! There has been one thing after another needing to be fixed! Too many to list!! The last straw was when the other day we were having a new propane tank installed and was told that they couldn’t hook our stove back up to the propane tank because we had a leak somewhere in the line leading up in the wall. I contacted Forest River and was told that our RV was no longer under warranty and that they were sorry that we were having so many problems with our RV!! You’d think that when you spend over $35,000.00 for a new RV that the company would stand behind their product for more than a year!! We’d never recommend Forest River or Jeff Couch RV Nation in Ohio to anyone looking to buy an RV!! So very disappointed in our whole experience!! Now we have to pay for someone to fix the problems if we want to enjoy the rest of our summer! We should receive more than just an apology from Forest River!!
