I bought the 2013 v cross vibe(forest river) in 2015, for light travel trailer that is 20 foot, it has everything you need plus a good size bathroom. Pull out for bunk/dining area is a full size pull out, so adds space. Quality of finish is so so. Here is what I font like, the queen bed in back is up high, if Lower would be much better, in 2013 Forest River decided to put a 3500 pound axle on a 3300 pound trailer, then in a couple years later did a recall, they sold these travel trailers with a carrying weight of I think around 590 pounds, then they mailed out a sticker to put over old sticker that reduces carrying weight to like 200 pounds total. That is unacceptable, wonder why there has not been a class action lawsuit yet? Is like selling you a truck with 10,000 pound towing capacity and a few years later tell you max is 5000 pounds. There is large storage in back, but useless, once on road that storage needs to be empty or trailer will be back heavy and sway bad. Also they Place the single axle in basically very middle, so is very rear heavy and going up steep inclines tends to scrape the rear scissor Jack's. In 2014 they put 4400 pound axle and 15 inch tires. I love the trailer, but have to be cautious everytime I tow to make sure weight is all toward front. I take it out weeks a year, no real issues except at first when the sway, then I put on a single sway bar and took everything out and put in truck. Don't know if I will ever buy a forest river product again after they knew they ripped off consumers by sending a sticker as their way of fixing the axle that was not strong enough for the trailer. I may go and buy new axle to fix this, is kind of scarey.

This RV was so poorly built without Quality Control measures. It should have never left the Factory. It was a proto type and many were built and sold by dealers. At 1st. set up we discovered that the drain systems for both sinks, Kitchen and Bathroom were there in place but had never been tightened up at the connections. Also there were many leaks in the water lines from loose connections and loose basin nuts on the faucets. The roof drain along the front of the coach above the Awning had been assembled from 2 pieces of Chanel instead of one long piece which resulted in a constant drip above the left side of the entrance which resulted in water running down inside the outer skin and into the floor at the entrance which traveled the entire width of the floor from front to back of coach about 2 feet wide causing a spongy floor. Many other things like bad seal on storage doors, leaky windows, open areas underneath that were not filled with foam and so on. My complaint to the Factory resulted in a referral to the Dealer who had already told us on delivery that we should contact another Dealer with issues as they were so far away from our RV Park. I would not recommend any Forest River Product2

I am a friend of the owner. He asked me to take a look at the Suburban Furnace as it wasn't working. I found a bad sail switch and replaced it and that solved the problem. The real problem was gaining access to the heater. I literally had to destroy the stairs to remove the furnace. Then I had to rebuild the stairs and reinstall them. Now a new problem has cropped up. The lights are flickering in sync, so I know it is a system problem. I checked the output voltage of the converter and it's 13.5, which is good. The flickering voltage is affecting the Suburban Furnace and it periodically shuts down. Suburban is a good name. I purchased a used Suburban SHD2542 Furnace over 10 years ago and no problems up to 6 months ago, when I had to replace the sail switch. It's back in service with no problems in a converted MCI bus. Salem Hemisphere Lite? Run away from this one.

I am selling my nice 30 foot 2013 Forest River Surveyor Sport SP275. Best offer considered. I have owned this beautiful trailer since 2018 and have loved it! the whole time. The only reason I am selling is because I am planning on buying a bigger trailer. This trailer is solid, beautiful warm decor and trim inside. Tuscany brown design with beautiful medium cherry wood cabinets and trim. Tons of storage everywhere throughout the trailer. Most storage I have ever had in a TT. Two small closets next to bed, under bed, five cabinets in dining/living space, two deep pantries, 8 drawers in kitchen and much more in the BIG! bathroom as well. Check out all the specs listed on line at Nada Guide.com and there are also a few upgrades like front diamond metal rock/chip protector shield when traveling. Bumper BBQ grill, extra bed gas spring strut for support when lifting bed for storage, and brand new A/C installed in 2020. I also have a transferable warranty until Dec 2023. As well as a brand new marine battery. Everything is comfy and cozy (not the usual slippery fake "pleather") with the soft valour fabric couch and 6 person sitting U-shaped bench with plenty of room and under storage. There is space on BOTH sides of the Queen bed to get in and out. And one of my favorite space in actually the bathroom! Plenty of room to take a shower AND get dressed! Not to mention the second door in the bathroom in case you need that extra "fresh air" to vent outside. Everything works great. Only had a small water drip under the kitchen sink when I first bought her and fixed it by tightening the valve. And I just replaced the gas lines to the large propane tanks which include fuel gauges for each tank. The only thing I do NOT like about this trailer, to be honest, is the bathroom door has to be closed to completely open the refrigerator door. I usually leave the bathroom door open. This is a great! trailer. It will not last long as it is in great shape and the price is very affordable.

We went in to Tom Stinnets in Clarksville to get some advice on a camper we were considering buying and were helped by Luke in the service department. He was more than helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the hitch that was on this fifth wheel camper. Even though he was very busy and we weren’t there to buy anything, he spent a lot of time answering our questions and making recommendations. Can’t say enough good things about Stinnets service department!

Nothing but trouble from the start. I understand that not everything that comes out of the factory is going to be excellent from the get go - but that is where customer service comes in. Unfortunately, I resorted to paying for an "out of box failure" out of my own pocket because I couldn't get Forest River to even respond to my emails or phone calls. It is a sad thing when you know that $2500 in warranty issues isn't worth pursuing legally - as I'm sure they well do. All I can do is share my more than horrible experience and save someone the hassle of buying from this manufacturer. That said, I don't believe in just writing a negative review, as there is always something positive. Liked the layout of being able to have two adults being able to get out of bed without climbing over each other. Storage space is satisfactory but highly don't recommend putting anything in there, and especially don't recommend putting a bike rack on. The axle is on the unit I purchased was rated for 3,500lbs but wouldn't recommend going over 3,350. Once you put water in there and some clothes you are maxed out due to the poor quality craftsmanship of this unit. Thought I got a steal of a deal paying $1,000/sq ft on my trailer - but you get what you pay for. Sincerely disappointed that no one would return my calls on a 3 month old trailer with warranty issues.

Will the first trip we took was horrible,we had to put a pice of foam on the mattress so we could sleep(had that replaced).same trip could not put water into the holding tank, needed pressure, bought a pump. This was miner, second trip could not get side in,back to the dealer anther year wasted.Next year on retuning from a trip the slide would not go out, after looked at bya tech from t he dealer, back to the dealer which resulted in new slider which had to be ordered and a another camping year wasted.Next year had to return to the dealer for more adjustments another year wasted.Im sure glad I bought the extended warranty. Also had to replace the awning motor.now the inside had to replace worped cabinets doors and countertop.Had two good years without problems until now the slide is falling apart.Having said that we really like the RV it was a ideal size for us and that's way I'm leaning how to repair all future problems like the slide not adjusted properly which results in leaks and other poor workmanship.no more warranty and no more help from the dealer.Thank you,I hope this help someone( buyer be wear).
