2007 Forest River Rockwood reviews

We used it for our first trip with a trailer. 6 months from Colorado to Portland Maine . And South to Florida. Stayed in 28 State parks. When we got a cancellation State park and Hoa’s in between. The Autumn Colors were somthing to see. And the Great U.S.A. We are so happy that we took that chance and did it. Learned so much and met so many great people. Really just a different experience of people than the day to day. Hectic people on the highway or the sidewalks. Some places where like your neighborhood. We stayed in a HOA in Fancy Gap Virginia. Families of Grandparents to great grandchildren stay every year for Halloween. So friendly and open to talk. I could go on and on. But we were very lucky. No time frame. No Appointments to keep. First time I rolled slide out the bolts broke. Dealer said it is fine and to carry extra bolts, which I do. I use about 10 bolts a year. Concertone radio thing is junk. Been replaced 3 times and ended up chucking it. TV is garbage too, have not watched TV in a camper in years. 3500 pound axles must be bent. I chew through a set of tires every year. Sides are delaminating which started the 2nd year. NO water leak, dealer said Rockwood had some bad glue and just deal with it. Save yourself a bunch of headaches, don't buy a Forrest River product, but mainly run from Rockwoods.It is lipstick on a pig. May look nice but they are junk. Show less

We have had great camping experiences with our 5th wheel. The roomy layout and large corner shower were perfect. It felt like a one bedroom apartment when we were out in it. It hauls like a dream with our Chev Silverado 1500. Great unit for sure. Show less
