2014 Keystone Montana 5th Wheel reviews

I have a 3500 Ram 6.7 diesel that tows the RV and you hardly knows it is pulling the rig. With the rear view camera it takes a lot of stress off by easily seeing what is behind you. Backing up is a as well. well. The upgraded steps are a plus as well.We just want to downsize. The unit is very comfortable to live in and the fireplace is such a nice feature and it does add addition warmth to the furnace.,, Show less

I love the Keystone Montana. AC is much better and quieter then most 5th wheels. Love the desk and drawers. The king bed is excellent for a 5th wheel. The tanks are huge and the 12 gal water heater is super. Great for long vacations or just living in it. love the big dbl frig/ freezer and large Island. Show less

This a great 5th wheel.. Love the storage, made for full time living.. Great kitchen, along with a dbl sink and dbl door frig/freezer. Montana's are a great product. The quiet central AC is much better then almost all 5th wheels we've seen. Large shower with fantastic fans are great.. Show less

my family and I love the lay out of the camper, but it is very poorly built the doors on most of the cupboards don't stay shut my electric fans on the ceiling don't work and none of my big doors latch. I guess for only being a few years old I wasn't expecting the camper to start falling apart. very disappointed. with the quailty. Show less

Great 5th wheel. Outstanding interior, especially the cabinets, Frig and Microwave. The sorround sound is great for movies.. Lrg lazy boys, king bed, loads of storage. Passthru storage is great for long trips or outside TV. Auto leveling makes it real easy for setup.. Show less

We have towed this RV less than 600 miles and have been very pleased with how well it tows! The only reason we are selling is because we upgraded to a motorhome, class C. This 5th wheel is very well made and of higher quality workmanship. We have always enjoyed our Montana and have taken very excellent care of it. Must see to appreciate it. The Montana 3402 has the most inside storage I've ever seen. Huge cabinets, Pantry, Isl Cabinets open on both sides. Two sinks and vanities in brm are great. Convect micro is a great feature. Very comfortable for fulltime or short term. Love the counter space! Show less

Great 5th wheel! Forward living room with TV and fire place frees up the kitchen area for meals. Big bedroom and bathroom as well. Sleep six with two fold out queen beds. Dual propane makes for easy Boondocking if desired. Show less

Took delivery Jan 2015.Problems when brand new. Certain lights not working, Thermal coupler not adjusted so oven would not light, missing manuals, Inside stairs not screwed in, toilet not holding water, Tire blow out,another 1/2 flat 2011 tires on a 2014 model. ISSUES up to early 2018. Front side decals all cracking peeling, sofa fabric wearing out, dining table fell over, cabinets many loose.antenna wore out, rubber boot pulled up causing leak, stove top to close to burners, power vent stopped working, bath faucet delaminating,radio and speakers no good. Outside speaker covers cracked and placed at rear side where no 1 sits, awning gets dirty/stained easily,fake wood paper pealing wearing out, toilet flush arm leaking, windows hard to open, front decal from bug carcass acid eat through it, rear inside bumper rusting out and frame, outside Rubber trim stains, Carpet wearing,For the price you pay, These are junk,cheaply made, Many RV’ers have issues as this or worse. Need more regulation/inspections and better materials. Rude service personnel. Don’t get caught up in the glitz, see and how it is made and what materials, after 4 years they start to really wear and we take good care of this, Flooring solarium is paper thin..Staples under rubber roof are popping up that holds aluminum on a curve on roof edges..Poor Quality...But all makes have their issues, but why not improve the issues so the mfg won’t loose customers..Most tires On RV’s are only rated for 65 mph.. Our Experience with this RV has had its ups and downs. The latest thing we have noticed with this RV and other friends that have this year is the sofa's donot have good material on them. Our Sofa Material after 4 years has the look of the material being melted on the back and head rest area. The leather (Vinyl)was very thin and melted from excess heat coming through the rear window. Suggest the rear windows be tinted or use shades that can be left down during travels. Better material on sofas and the furniture would also help. Show less
