We purchased this RV in January 2021 (brand new) from the well known RV dealership located in Strafford, Missouri. Eighteen things fell apart on our first camping trip in March. We do not recommend this model or this well known RV dealership.. It has been a two year battle trying to get it fixed. It still is not fixed. Things that fell apart: Bed (lifts up for storage) it came apart when opened borad was broken, bench seat at dinette collapsed, radio quit working, tv bounced all around (only one screww holding it to wall), etc. The well known RV dealership has not honored the warranties. Still trying to get the slide fixed. This camper has been a lemon since our first camping trip. Have contacted the CEO of this well known RV dealership more than three time. His saying, "If your happy then I'm happy", is a big joke! We are definitely not happy campers!

This is a great layout, especially for families. The length is still short enough to get into most campgrounds and the layout feels spacious inside. The cargo carrying capacity is extremely large compared to other models at this length. We also appreciate that we can access the whole trailer when the slides are in. This is great for pit stops to eat, restock the trailer, etc. We were very happy with the quality overall. Plus the windows are huge! Most toy haulers don't have a dinette in the main living space and you have to use a table in the rear. With this layout, you have a dinette, couch, and very efficient kitchen layout.

We purchased this camper from camping world Woodstock Ga .. the first problem was they patched our black water cable so we couldn’t drain the tank. The next problem. The front AC. Wouldn’t come on and head to camp in Florida with one AC. The next problem was the key lock on the back never worked. Trim had to be reinstalled and glued cabinet doors had to be reinstalled . On a camping trip we go to lower the back door to the toy hauler part. It falls on us had to repair that to even get home hydraulic self leveling kit leaking cutting on and off and I was told to go buy a new now we’re dealing with the slide leaking with a rotted floor and they told us we will try to get it covered under warranty. We are waiting. This camper has a carport with a roof and sides on it. The slides do not stay out on it and it doesn’t stay in the weather unless we are camping in . To spend this kind of money on a camper and get told repeatedly at camper world. We might be able to get that covered. We might be able to fix that and Keystone putting out a product like they’re putting out it’s pretty shameful. I will never own another keystone product but I’m not going to stop camping. I’m going to move on to other brands in the future that are quality. I know all campers have problems, but this is excessive and I will never do business again with camper world. Beware by from someone else!!!!!! Our camper is still not fixed and we are waiting for them to take care of the rotted floor in a brand new camper…

Don’t waste your money. We use this toy hauler 6 times a year between May and October for long weekends and a couple of week long trips. Every time we take it away something breaks. The amount of money we put into this RV is ridiculous. The trailer just turn eight years old and for the last 3 years getting any matching replacement parts is next to impossible. Keystone customer service always refers you to an authorized dealer and when the authorized dealer not able to assist they refer you back to the keystone customer service. It is a vicious circle. You think when you spend upwards of 80,000 dollars you should be getting an RV that is good quality.

The Cadillac of the RVs? NOT!!! Maybe a Yugo! We bought a brand new Keystone Outback Toy Hauler at the end of January 2022. The owner of a very prestigious RV Dealership told us that we are getting the CADILLAC of all the RVs. A year and a half later I'm starting to wonder if this is what they tell to all of their customers because nothing could be further from the truth. Things that broke within first three months: the water pump and the valve. Things that broke within the first six months: the bed ( the slideout is actually the support for the king bed ), the table. Things that broke within the first year: the toilet, the awning, the space heater ( furnace ) , the bathroom fan, the shower pan, the outside valve for the black tank, a lot of wood covering ( cabinets, door ) got damaged and peeled off, the awning lights ( not all of them but a few LEDs are not working anymore ) . The propane stove is fine but the oven is a joke, it turns off by itself every five minutes ( or less). Communication with the company was extremely difficult, almost non existent with sometimes more than two or three months between sending and receiving an answer to my emails. Although we kept all the documentation, the quotes and the invoices from the repair company ( including the broken parts and pictures of the defects ), in the end they only offered to pay for about a quarter of half of the repairs cost and the explanation was rude and borderline disrespectful. Such a shame that a beautiful RV lifestyle can be shattered by a company that has 12.6% market share but it's no wonder that the number went down from the years before.

Purchased a used 2012 230RS (same as the current 240URS) in 2018 for the front garage & 1/2-ton capability. It's been a great ownership experience. PROS: light weight, overall value, great relative build quality, front storage, a bath tub, outdoor cooking & TV hookup, high ground clearance. CONS: limited exterior storage, limited fresh H2O tank, decals fade quickly, must be mindful of load balance w/full H2O, no onboard genset. We can fit 2 full-size bikes, or a full-size and 2 to 3 kids bikes (65cc). Front garage allows space to put toolbox, picnic table, portable grill, & fold-down bunks give the boys their own room when setup. Having a 27-ft w/o side slides allows access to some parks/sites that limit slides or length <30. Cabinet & external storage is limited, wish it had a large pass-thru outside. If towing w/o a lot of weight forward & full H2O trailer handling degrades. We attend 8-14 races/yr, lots of backcountry & off-grid. Rear king bed is great. Nice having a real dining table unlike many toy haulers Downside is having to unload garage for boys to sleep up front, but if we're pulling roadside for a night they can sleep in rear bunks (coach & table fold). Rig can sleep 6 comfortably, 8 in a pinch if kids. 24ft pwr awning is nice - covers garage entry & then som. Wish it had larger tanks (43 gal fresh H2O) frame doesn't allow for addt'l tanks. Insulation proved great - no freezing H2O at temps in teens, easy to keep warm (unlike parents' Airstream). Only issue was H2O tank cracked from old age (now 10), but otherwise It's never let us down, and left a good impression of the brand.

Lame american company with no quality standards reflected by a lame one year warranty where things break just outside the one year warranty. If a lame american believed in their lame product it would come with a warranty to last at least 5 years. The rude customer service people who don't care about a dam thing accept how they look in a mirror are no help and who seem to relish in the fact that you're just one month outside the lame one year warranty on the lame trailer. If I could take it back and get my money refunded I would right now. Big lame corporate america fleecing good hard working people while greedy CEO's skate without paying taxes while fleecing the hard working Americans. Lame! Do not buy a Keystone trailer, which is owned by Thor. Spend your money elsewhere.
