We purchase this 2019 Montana 2019 this last March. First time we used it couldn’t watch tv unless bedroom light was on, a/c in living room was so loud and wouldn’t shut off. The underbelly fell off while we were traveling to South Dakota, microwave only worked on one button, got it all fixed then new microwave and fireplace kept flashing and outlets wouldn’t work. We had a 2020 sandpiper and wish we would have kept it. Really disappointed in this Montana!!!!!they just Jerry rigged the under belly and think they hit a wire to cause the flickering. Still isn’t fixed. When we first brought it home my husband noticed stress cracks on the front The manufacturer said will repair it but we have to drive 5 hours to where they will fix it.

Where to start with this one? We bought the RV new to stay on property we have, so nothing wrong with it can be blamed on road travel. It is comfortable and we like the floor plan., but we've had one thing after another go wrong. Right off the bat, the entry door had to be slammed to close it. We tried adjustments, etc., and finally discovered the keyhole plate was too big and wasn't installed properly. Took that off, and it closes normally. Within the first 6 months, the converter went out (in the middle of a Texas summer) and had to be replaced. The original toilet leaked and after some research on our own, we found out it had been recalled. They did send us a new one, that was cheap to say the least, but we installed it, after we replaced the cheap flange in the floor that had cracked. We ended up replacing it with one we purchased ourselves. We've replaced the water pump twice. The kitchen faucet leaks. The water heater has never worked on electric, only propane. The propane regulator was recalled. We have 2 refrigerators and have had to replace both control boards. The sound bar quit working. The outside cable/satellite connection has never worked. The outdoor kitchen light quit working. The kitchen vent hood quit working. The latest issue is that the drain pipe under the shower broke, which we were unaware of, water built up under the trailer on top of the lining underneath, which eventually collapsed sending not so pleasant smelling stagnant , animal poop-filled water everywhere, which leads me to the worst part. I found giant holes in each end of the frame of the RV that allowed critters to crawl in and set up house on top of the covering underneath and use it as a superhighway to climb up into the trailer through the giant holes they left everywhere a water, electric or gas line had to come up into the trailer from below. It took a lot of work and a lot of Great Stuff, but I think I finally have all the inside holes filled and haven't had anymore mice inside. The workmanship on this trailer is pitiful and support is nil. They should be ashamed for selling such a mess. If I could leave 0 stars for overall quality and support, I would. Buyer beware. We plan to upgrade, but it won't be to a Keystone.

So far 2 of the 3 slide outs have to be opened and closed manually for closing for season. The 12 volt lighting system in front half of camper don't work. This yr just for kicks the grey water tank fell out. So all in all it was probably a Friday built before a holiday weekend. I have contacted Keystone, but they must still be out for Covid. Wouldn't recommend to an enemy. Thanks for your time

In the shop more than camping (so far...but there's hope). As seems much like another review on the very similar Keystone 240URS (also posted here), the main issue has been the slide base cracking and falling off (twice so far) - thin protective plastic piece that goes over the rollers on the underside of the slide. Fortunately, unlike the other purchaser, Keystone authorized warranty work to fix this the first time (unlike the other buyer), but with the same adhesive and material as the original piece (as I understand). We managed to go camping twice after that during that summer, and then the RV sat parked for the fall and winter. Upon going out to de-winterize it in the immediately following spring season, it was observed that the slide base piece had just fallen off (the adhesive let go) while sitting parked over the winter. The keystone repair facility said this is the result of needing to use Keystone's direction on how to repair it the first time so not their fault or responsibility. They suggested I could talk with a Keystone rep. The Keystone rep reported that the warranty is expired, and the repair that was done was considered having lasted long enough, and they are not taking responsibility, but I could try an aftermarket extended warranty if I have one. Of course, the expensive extended warranty did not cover this. Fortunately and appreciatively, I managed to eventually get a discount from the Keystone repair facility (not the dealer who we bought this from) through my persistent complaining and got this second repair down to a not-insignificant $1200.00 from the original $1600.00 that was quoted. This problem has been in addition to a valve failing on the toilet and another on the black tank flush that each sprayed and flooded water all over the trailer (separate occasions), and a minor repair to the air conditioning that was installed incorrectly. A bunk mattress was also ripped when we bought it new, but that was rather insignificant. So while the floor plan is excellent for a small family, and the large rear slide of the king size bed is fantastic (i.e., you sleep parallel to the length of the trailer with no need to crawl over your sleeping partner), there certainly have been some frustrations. The folding bunk and cargo access door are very helpful and convenient. External shower on the door side of the trailer is also great. Lots of electrical plug ins. Please let it keep working and get through another winter. I'll aim to keep you posted. Good luck everybody.

If your thinking about a camper I would NOT recommend a keystone product.

Roof buckled and was denied by the structural warranty. Keystone stated a bunch of reason they wont cover it, after responding to each reason with a detailed response supporting my claim they responded with they are not discussing the matter any further. The Keystone Retreat group on Facebook is full of unhappy customers. Some which can't get things covered within the 1 year warranty. It sounds like Keystone rather go to court than fix anything.

We bought this RV, montana high country 331rl, in Feb of 2019. Manufacture date was Oct 2018. I loved the floor plan. Unfortunately our first camping experience, May 2019, we found some issues. The bathroom door makes a grinding sound when you close it, which in the middle of the night is annoying. The freezer didn't have a seal and didn't get cold enough to keep food frozen, the ice maker was not hooked in made a loud noise, (which is inaccessible unless you remove the refrigerator by taking out the slide), the black and gray tanks were labeled wrong ( good thing the health department did not inspect the campgrounds, as we were dumping into the gray tank), the leveling jacks were displaying error but camper was level and when the furnace was turned on it started to work but then went off and wouldn't come back on, which we found that the plastic bag the igniter came in was left on the igniter, installed and melted the first time we turned it on! It prevented the igniter from lighting. Once we peeled the plastic off , it worked but then we discovered the vents weren't connected and only the floor was heating! The place we bought from wanted us to bring it back, almost 200 miles, and it would get repaired, but reviews said it could take the whole camping season to get done because the service department sucks , plus we were already set up so we had the repairs done ourself. If you are parked in a shady area you are good as far as the AC but if you get even a few hours of sun be prepared to have it be cooler outside than inside the camper. The biggest flaw in this model is the windows. Out of 13 windows, 9 are crankouts that only go out about 5 inches. These crankout windows are useless! You don't get any outside airflow through them. We also have a sky light over the island, which looks nice but the sun beats in and heats up the camper faster, so we keep the shade pulled over it 24/7. After 1 camping season the microwave, a highpointe model, which was hardly ever used, kept blowing fuses. Come to find out the door was mounted wrong and when shut, shook the fuse, causing it to blow. Lastly we heard a popping sound one evening and saw that the awning was coming off the camper at one side. When inspected , it was attached with too small of screws. We bought molly screws and reattached the awning properly. I like the floorplan of this model and have looked at the new models of this camper and it is still built the same.! No thank you.... I would not purchase a new one nor do I recommend this model to others! We have learned looks are not everything. Our next camper, we will go through with a fine tooth comb, and look at functionality and reviews!
