Keystone Toy Haulers 5th Wheel reviews

Purchased a 2023 Keystone Montana in May 2024. This was a new unit left over from 2023. Day (1) when we got the unit home, the front right slide wouldn't open. We took it back to Camping World and they replaced the motor on the slide. We brought it home and took our first camping trip in mid-June. The toilet in the master bath leaked water around the base and down into the storage. The electrical receptacles on both sides of the bed were not working. Not good when you're required to use a CPAP machine to sleep at night. AND the front left slide will not open. We took the unit back to Camping World on June 22, 2024, for manufactured repairs. As of August 5, 2024, the repairs are not completed, and they still have our new unit. We've planned and paid for a Summer full of camping trips with this new purchase. Slowly, but surely, we're watching dollar signs fly out of the window as we're unable to take our planned trips or get our money back from this "Luxury 5th wheel" as it's referred to by Keystone. We purchase this 2019 Montana 2019 this last March. First time we used it couldn’t watch tv unless bedroom light was on, a/c in living room was so loud and wouldn’t shut off. The underbelly fell off while we were traveling to South Dakota, microwave only worked on one button, got it all fixed then new microwave and fireplace kept flashing and outlets wouldn’t work. We had a 2020 sandpiper and wish we would have kept it. Really disappointed in this Montana!!!!!they just Jerry rigged the under belly and think they hit a wire to cause the flickering. Still isn’t fixed. When we first brought it home my husband noticed stress cracks on the front The manufacturer said will repair it but we have to drive 5 hours to where they will fix it. Show less

Tankless water heater stopped working after one week and being under warranty keystone would not refund the full amount we paid to replace it. We had many issues with our 2024 alpine. I doubt we’ll ever get another one. Very disappointed. Very expensive living. Show less

We bought this when it was 6 months old. We already had problems with the outside shower leaking(which I fixed). It’s just over a year old and now it has water damage. I can’t believe it. We had a 2014 Thor that we sold before buying this and it was terrific! This camper is not that quality camper we’re used to. Keystone will not do anything to help us out with this. There’s no way a camper that is a year old should already be leaking. It’s clearly from the slide or the roof. Poor quality and poor customer service. Show less

This is the perfect Toy Hauler if you’re looking for year round camping or living. The 3 AC units are great for summer and the fireplace takes the chill off on cooler days. This camper has a lot of living space, I loved the seating area in this camper, it’s not just 1 couch with a tv at a weird angle because of the kitchen. It’s a couch and love seat with an entertainment center and the kitchen space feels like it’s own separate space. Also this model has an outdoor kitchen, which is rare for a toy hauler. The only con was the factory antenna which was easy to replace. Show less

Our first RV and what a disappointment it has been. Purchased Jan 2024 it is now June 2024 and it has been back to the dealer 3 times for warranty work. More than 3 months total in the shop for repairs that should have been found when the dealer got it ready after the sale. Back bedroom has hardly any air coming out of the 2 ducts. Very hard to cool. Was told it was prewired for 3rd air went to have it installed at the dealer and it is not required for 3rd air. With the 2 bedroom design the back bedroom is very hot all the time as the ducting in this unit stinks. You would think Keystone would know this and fix it for the future owners. Panelling pulling away from the walls in kitchen and bedrooms. Also outside where the silicone is around the trim is CRACKING and shrinking. I do not recommend Keystone Montana from my experience and it being an ALL Season camper in the heat of the summer. Purchased so my 88 year old mother could travel with us but she can’t as her back bedroom is very hot. Fed up RV Owner Show less

Above average upkeep. Hickory wood cabinets. Many added features among: New convection microwave oven, replaced water heater, refrigerator with external monitor 12-volt, new suspension Mor Ride, handcrafted jewelry cabinet, 2 stain glass kitchen cabinet doors. Always in warm climate in the winter. Tires are not new but very good shape. New TV low profile antenna. Show less

This floor plan is very livable with opposing slides and an island kitchen. I look for accessibility while on the road. Meaning access to the bath, bed and refrigerator while the slides are in. Dual fuel refrigerator stays cold with propane. Show less

We love the floor plan, size, storage, and amenities. The rear living area with double slide-outs makes if feel very spacious. We like the double sinks in the bathroom. We also like full-size refrigerator. The slide-out storage tray makes it convenient to store and retrieve items. It has a solar panel on top of the RV. The RV is well insulated. Show less

Biggest mistake of my life. Workmanship was the poorest I have ever see. Should fire all that worked on it along with supervision and quality control. All should be ashamed to let that workmanship out the door. Corporate disgrace!! will surely show and pass this garbage to anyone that is considering jeystone Show less
