Bought the trailer new in 2022. First shower I took, the shower pan cracked in several places. I used duct tape to hold it together until I could get it serviced. Took over a month at a dealer to fix that and a host of other problems, such as all the trim was falling down and the cupboard above the bed was falling down. Later on, water was dripping onto my mattress. I finally figured that out...they never bothered to caulk the hole where the glamour lights on the outside front of the trailer go in. The front half of the underbelly completely fell down while on the road. None of the wiring had been secured, so all those wires fell out onto the road. Both axels bent while crossing Wyoming, which ruined all my tires. Numerous other things have failed, and I never get any help from Keystone. I am traveling full time and cannot just leave it for months on end for them to fix things, so I end up eating the cost. Customer service will not give any info, even for something so simple as how to remove the fireplace face plate so I can clean behind it. Figured that out. Supposed to be all-season. Not even close. The floor plan is good for 1, but would be tight for 2. It tows well with my very good hitch system. Overall, I would not recommend any Keystone product due to the horrible craftsmanship and lack of customer service.

We purchased our Cougar 25RDS brand new (custom order) from a local RV dealer in 2021 and have used it for various trips May - Oct each year. It's ideal for a couple, but we have brought our 6' adult son with us on a few trips. He was able to sleep on the large convertible dining table. The openness of the living area is fantastic. However, the tight bedroom drives me crazy. We had to immediately replace the horrible mattress. The fridge broke 3x. The roof lining bubbled even though we cover it every year and check sealants. These occurred within warranty but not all repairs were covered. Keystone resists paying for warrantied items. There are other minor items breaking that my husband can fix.

What a nightmare! My husband drove 800 miles each way to get floor plan I wanted. We have full cover, electric hook ups and sewer on our own property where it is stored. We live in our house NOT trailer. Take it out for two days. Leaks so bad mattress soaked. Took 2 months to schedule repair then told sorry we don't show you scheduled. Had email confirmation. Found someone closer to fix immediately. Took out for 3 week trip may 2022, issues, issues and more issues. Hubby fixed many, others repaired upon return. Now June 2023 going on 3 week trip. 2nd day extreme water leak and overwhelming sewer smell. Ok bought brand new, used one time 2 days in 2021 major problems then 3 weeks 2022 major problems now starting June 2023 trip with more major problems. The price of this travel trailer should not have this many problems. Keep in mind on concrete slab covered on our property. This travel trailer is well protected from the elements... I MEAN NO HELP FROM MANUFACTURER
I EVEN PAID BIG BUCKS FOR EXTENDED WARRANTY. EVERY ASPECT OF OWNING THIS KEYSTONE COUGAR 25RDS HAS SUCKED! Think many times about buying a keystone which is "supposed " to be higher quality with the quality just buy the cheap other brand travel trailer most likely better quality

Picked up our new 2023 Cougar 25RDS in the fall of 2022. Purchased in NC before moving to Maine. We were concerned about service after the sale and they reassured us it wouldn't be a problem with our roadside assistance and extended warranty (don't ever believe that lie). Three hours away from the dealer I pulled into a rest area to use the lew and the slide out stuck in the out position, I was able to bring it in manually and continued to Maine where it took 5 months for it to be repaired. No dealers wanted to service it because it wasn't purchased there. Finally hooked up the water supply in the spring only to find the toilet valve leaking. The LED lights and graphics are peeling off. One evening we had some light rain and the awning came crashing down and ripped the support arms off the sidewall.... My understanding is the gas filled spring arms are suppose to give in order to keep that from happening. So far the first 7 months of ownership has been rough..... Also don't expect help from your dealer if you are out of the state. The warranty department is also difficult and not very helpful.

I did a lot of research on travel trailers. The 25RDS was the floor plan perfect for a couple. We had not purchased one. A disaster hit; we could not live in our house. We purchased it to use for a couple of months until our house was repaired. We already had a covered area with hook up on our property for the trailer. We chose it for the King size bed and
"advertised” high quality (do not agree with the advertised quality). The King size bed you need to adjust to it as the cabinet hangs over it some. I had a few bruises in the beginning. To winterize there was one extra screw in the water heater area, it took a great deal more work to get the Water heater value bypass. The first time we took it out and it was not under a cover it rained and leaked bad! We had purchased this Trailer in another state since it was the closest one with the floor plan and we needed it ASAP. MISTAKE.... there are not any "dealers" anywhere close that will work on this Travel trailer for warranty unless we purchased from them. Do your homework, I wish I could have purchased from the local dealer, it would have saved 1600-mile round trip to pick up this floor plan in another state. The support for this travel trailer is the worst! Think long and hard before buying! If you ever need anything repaired under warranty..... you are in trouble!

Put awning out at home to look at it and it came off. There is a cut in the awning. The roof has LOTS of bubbles on it. We took it in for repair. Warranty said the roof was not a manufacture defect. Don't understand that one. They said they will cover the awning to be reattached to 5th wheel but the cut in the awning is not a manufacture defect. This company will not stand by their product. Never again will I buy this product.

My wife and I have owned camping trailers, Class A motorhomes, 5th wheel campers, Class C motorhomes for the past 50 years. As with anything manufactured, there are usually issues that need to be addressed, but usually the manufacturer stands behind their product. Here are some of the issues with the quality of the camper on the first trip: the bathroom door fell off onto the floor, the shower was leaking/running across the floor, the windows are set crooked and potentially leak, two entrance doors were crooked and would not shut properly, etc.. These issues are nothing but poor quality, but given time and the incredible skills of the mechanics at Camping World, Lowell, AR they can be fixed, but the lack of customer service and the haughty attitude of Keystone/Cougar cannot be fixed by the customer or Camping World. Dealing with the Home Office of Keystone/Cougar, gives me the impression that the entire culture of the company is aggressively rude and uncaring. This attitude permeates everyone that we dealt with at the Keystone/Cougar Home Office. Our dealing with the Customer (Lack of) Service has been absolutely nothing but disappointing. By talking to them, we understand: they don’t know the products, they don’t camp, and they definitely are not interested in customer service. We even talked to a Customer (Lack of) Service manager named Sasha that said three times she would check for us and call us back - she never called back - NEVER! Due to the telephone answering protocol, the entire organization, except Customer (Lack of) Service, is shielded from being contacted by the public. Just due to the organization shielding via the telephone recorded protocol, is ample warning that the company is dishonest and disinterested. Through incredible diligent investigation, I managed to ascertain the Vice President of Sales, Josh Mi**** and his office phone number. Upon contacting his voice mail, he did not return my phone call three times. Finally, I used someone else’s phone and he answered. This guy said, it didn’t matter to him, he didn’t really care at all, and he was not going to do anything to address the issue. We were definitely stunned at his indifference and uncaring attitude. In my professional life I dealt quite often with company executives and I really don’t remember being treated so harshly by any company representative as I was treated by Josh. The camper is ok, but I would not buy anything from Keystone/Cougar again because of the uncaring, unprofessional, discourteous, big company attitude. If you do buy from Keystone/Cougar, be prepared for absolutely NO customer service. The whole company really is built on “not caring” from my perspective and dealings.

Love the trailer, however when they installed the incommand system they used a Sawzall to cut a hole in a inner wall to pass wiring through and cut into the sewer pipe from the toilet And Didn't repair the pipe, it was obviously damaged.
At first I couldn't see the cut but used my phone camera to get the angle.
The only reason I found it was a small hint of sewer oder and Flys going behind the wall in the lower storage area.My awning bracket popped off the side of the trailer after one month of purchase while driving down the road. Didn't loose the awning was able to tape it till I could stop and have it fixed correctly.
Trailers are notorious for issues so I am not surprised, but am disappointed.the fresh water filler tube was also installed badly so it was very difficult to fill.
When they installed the TV wifi antenna system the put the interior position directly over the corner of the slide upper corner so you can not install the wifi inside because the slide will not come in all the way or knock wifi module off the ceiling. Fortunately I use the phone Hotspot otherwise I would have to put a 6x6 inch notch in the upper valance on the left side of the slide. Not good planning positioning.
These are issues I don't like , however some will be fixed and overall after 4 months and 3 trips we are happy with the Floorplan.
We owned a different brand for 13 years prior to this one, with small age related issues, nothing from the factory.

Drove a 873 miles one way to get this floor plan since not available most places. If you buy a keystone Cougar you better make sure everything works otherwise their customer service is the WORST I have ever experienced. I called for help. I simply got a too bad. Yes, those exact words. New, drove it to Texas. Toilet does not hold water or work proper, smells all the time. We are living in trailer while our home is being repaired. The ONLY authorized dealer cant see or help us for 8 weeks. Called Keystone to see if there was another option, Candy with Keystone customer service said well you are lucky some are several months out. Sorry, too bad we can't help you. I have owned this trailer for 10 days. If you want any warranty or customer service DO NOT BUY A KEYSTONE. I am sorry I did. I only wish I could give it a negative star!!
