In May 2022, I purchased my first NEW RV, a 2022 Keystone Dutchman Atlas from RVs.com in Nashville TN. It has been a horrible experience. RV less than a year old used less than a dozen times. Prior to this purchase my family and I had been enjoying an older 28 foot travel trailer. My first problem with the new RV, was the refrigerator plug not working. RVs.com does not have a service department for repairs at the RV dealership. They refer warranty work to the dealership next door to their site in Nashville TN. That dealership request you schedule an appointment to bring your camper in and wait on site for repairs to be completed. If the repair cannot be completed that same day, you have to pull your camper back home and return another day. I am not fond of the ideal of pulling a huge camper around in Nashville TN, 70 something miles from my home. They refuse to keep RV campers they are working on on-site. Their mobile tech will only travel 50 miles from the dealership site. I did find a mobile tech who fixed the problem. I paid a $250 mobile tech fee that was not eligible for reimbursement from Keystone. No parts were needed. The repair was loose wiring. Please don't say wear and tear. The camper was moved from the dealership to a Campground and never moved again. Second problem 3 months later, the furnace not heating. Again another $250 non eligible mobile tech fee. Problem fixed. No parts necessary. Diagnosed as debri on a sensor. Two weeks later. furnace again not heating and the small outside refrigerator not working. The plug for said refrigerator is working. Additionally I think but can't determine if it's a problem, but the water does not seem to get hot or last long for a short shower. The DI or something light comes on. So I don't know what to do. My advice to others do not buy from RVs.com. Do not buy Keystone models. Purchase your RV from a local dealer. I will take a huge loss for depreciation but I think I'll have to trade this "lemon" lesson learned in for a RV from a local dealership.

Floor plan was quite excellent. Everything we were looking for except a bed slide. An extraordinary lack of quality was apparent after two months. The furnace quit working, the awning wabbled upon opening and closing and still does. Every door and cabinet screw was loose. All exterior skirt screw holes were stripped. Chain drive for the cable slide system caught a facia screw and tore the facia to pieces, wrecked both pieces of furniture in the unit and destroyed the system on the dining slide. The fresh water tank cracked and cost $1600.00 to replace, out of warranty and out of pocket. More than two dozen items to repair under warranty and performed by America's no. 1 rv dealer never got fixed after Four and a half months sitting on their lot. Terribly disappointed. We feel as though we were physically violated. A horrible experience with customer service. Keystone customer service B.S.'d us through each day only having to worry about how the would B.S. us the next day.

This RV was my wife and I's first and we couldn't have been more disappointed and what is allowed to leave a Factory Dealership. Household foam seeped out of a lot of this unit, poor craftsmanship, and it was poorly done for cosmetics (many other issues to disgusted to list all). We drove this unit from El Paso, Texas, to Grand Junction, Colorado during December 2018, and were floored to find out the whole trip we were in Danger. Less than a month later there was a recall on the wheel bearings, thanks for making the sale and not thinking of our safety first and foremost. Shame on you KEYSTONE. :(

Our 2005 Citation Supreme 990 truck camper with slide out is AMAZING. Only issue we have had is the step down from the door to the bumper. Its a bit of a step. So we modified it and added a flip up step and it works great. Over all, we have owned 5 campers, from Lance to Artic Fox, and NorthernLite. This Thor Camper is simply the best one for extreme cold weather. We bought it used 2 yrs old and we would sell our house before we eber sell our Citation. Thank you Thor.
