2019 Keystone COUGAR reviews

This RV was at the dealership within the first six months. After that it went to the factory then returned to the dealership, this process took 16 months. We have had it out 3 times since then and now the fresh water tank has developed a leak in the bottom. This experience has been the worst that we have had. If your thinking about a camper I would NOT recommend a keystone product. Show less

Worst RV I have ever had talked to manufacturer he said he would repair a shower that was leaking 3 months after I bought it the rv manufacturer came out and said I stepped on the drain so there not going to fix the shower,they talk the talk but don't do anything, cheap ass people ,not the dealership but the manufacturer will never buy another RV from this company again I suggest you don't eather Show less

Like anything else you HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF IT. We bought the 2019 keystone cougar 22rbs new. We take good care of it as it has always taken care of us. It's one of the best campers we've ever owned. We've never had any problems with anything. We pull it with a 2019 Chevy Silverado half ton. It pulls wonderful! I would recommend this camper to anyone. Just keep in mind that like anything else, when buying used it all depends on how the previous owner took care of it . Show less

The shower leak from day 1 they wouldn't fix it because they said I stepped on the drain I only have a shower you can't help but step on the drain I think they buy there shower from china. The manufacturer said they wouldn't cover it because it was my fault just for them to save a dime will never buy another Kestone product again. Show less

Put 3point tow system on it.Tows like it wasn't even back there. King size bed with built in night stands both sides. Large screen tv ,with a very good sound system to back it up. Only complaint if any would be the roof color , black doesn't work well in Arizona summers. But it stayed cool and comfortable just ran more if not shaded. Show less

My husband and I are so pleased. Our Class A Motorhome sold in less than 2 months after listing it with Dream Finders. We had paid another marketing group to sell it with only 2 results and they both were scams. We had many truly interested prospective buyers immediately. We actually had to turn 3 buyers away because it was sold. We would recommend DreamFinders to anyone that wants to sell their RV. We appreciate their honesty and integrity!! The Keystone Cougar 32RLI Half Ton was easy to pull with my 2018 Ford F150 EcoBoost. The overall layout and three electronic slide-outs in the living area and master bedroom make setup and breakdown easy when camping. The auto-leveling system onboard also levels out in a matter of minutes. You never lift a finger and enjoy the camping environment immediately. The double air conditioning units cool on the hottest days in minutes and provide comfort continuously, as well as the heater and fireplace for heat on those cold nights. There is a center island with sink and storage that adds to the counterspace and functionality of the kitchen and dining area. Show less

This trailer is great for couples. It's is very spacious and has great amenities. The king size bed could be better quality but that can be fixed with a new mattress. The amount of storage space is great. The closet in the bedroom is very spacious and you can fit all your clothes and then some inside of it. The floor plan is great and with the kitchen island included the amount of counter top space allows for prep and cooking to occur at the same time. Show less

Don’t even bother calling them; Sal was very mean; didn’t even ask what trailer was I interested; I give him all 9’s and a F; he didn’t even say Thank you for calling; all he did after I said bye was slam phone down; I recommend not to buy an rv from best rv center in Turlock CA!!!!! Show less

This is my first rv. I bought it 6 months ago (used) from its original owner. I have been traveling the western U.S. and living in it full-time since I purchased it. I must admit, as a first time rv owner, I should have never bought from a private party. I missed out on the whole "dealership experience" (demo's on how to operate various components; basic rv maintenance and set-up info; etc.). I am happy with the quality and appearance of my Cougar. The only complaint I have about the interior design is that of the Dinette Slide. The kitchen table is weak and not adequate to seat even 3 people comfortably. The corner t.v./fireplace set-up is a huge waste of space. The cabinet enclosure could easily be designed much more efficiently (either smaller or with access to the extra unused space for storage). This may be a complaint of all rv owner's (who knows), but I curse every single time I open/close a window or a window shade. The windows take so much strength to open that I wonder how in the world senior folks are able to manage. My biggest complaint, which is my reason for commenting, is with the Keystone RV Company. The company has the absolute worst customer support. Support materials/troubleshooting guides/manuals specifically to each rv ... either they do not exist or such materials are too vague. My rv manual doesn't address any of the main components specifically. Instead, it says to refer to the manufacturer's website for more info, and then lists several companies to contact depending on which one is in my particular rv. Many vital systems, such as holding tanks, valves, furnace, and tv/satellite cables are either impossible to access or are only accessible after taking apart and moving all kinds of barriers in the way. Not user friendly. They don't make it easy for diy repairs. They encourage, or almost allow no other option, all repairs be done at authorized dealers. All authorized dealers are extremely backlogged. To even get an appt., I have to wait more than 2 months. Living full time in my rv exacerbates the problem. Anyway, I will not buy from thus company again. Period. A company that passes the buck with all customer support matters doesn't deserve this customer's business. Show less
