This trailer’s electrical was never connected properly, the furnace broke last year. The only thing we have not replaced is the water heater. The intake for furnace will not work and jayco do not back up their product

The low profile, low weight and short length of this trailer make it easily towable with an SUV or 1/2 ton truck, especially with the sway bars built-in. It has electric brakes but because of the light weight they are not needed. The king size bed slider extends the length to about 28 feet, and the slider mechanism is heavy duty and well designed with 4" rails. With the dual bunk beds and convertible dinette and sofa, up to 8 people can sleep in this compact unit. The 15 foot power awning and outdoor speakers help extend the living area outside. The shower has about 6'2" of clearance which could be improved by adding a skylight. One trade-off for the light weight is the relatively small fresh water capacity of 28 gallons. We bought it used and never used any factory warranty or support.

This RV was perfect for us, as we were new to RV camping. We love the layout, with its king size bed, as well as bunk beds, so there is room for the whole family. It's size is perfect for easy parking and lightweight hauling, yet the king size bed slide-out enables us to have lots of room in the living quarters. For a 24 foot trailer, the bathroom is good-sized, and the dinette and couch make for comfortable living. The easy to clean, stylish counters in the kitchen and bathroom are a dream to keep clean. The windows are large for a smaller trailer allowing for plenty of airflow, as well as providing plenty of viewing of the outside. With lots of amenities and storage, this is a great model for those who want to keep things easy, yet comfortable! There's even room to stash your bikes during transport!

I am a long time user of truck Campers and have over time had a half a dozen models all of which have pluses and minuses. I recently purchased the above trailer used and am disappointed in its construction. Firstly it does not have back up lights in the tail lights. This means that I have to run wiring to operate back up lights and a camera from the tow vehicle. Secondly the floor sheeting was not sawn so that the joints were over a joist or crossmember leaving a soft spot in a high traffic area and causing the floor covering to stretch. Had to screw in a metal sill plate to reinforce the area and stop any further break down. Seam trim over bunk not aligned properly which caused inside skin to pull back and sag. This unit has a solar panel and has 2 golf cart batteries ($250 each) which always have to be connected so the solar panel does not burn out. I had to design a locking system to deter theft.

We have had one other brand camper that we didn’t purchase another but would certainly purchase another Jayco as our Jayco 213 has done very well by us. We have traveled 1700 miles one time and many 80, 50,20 mile trips. Very easy for this 70 year old to pull and set up.

I bought a Jayco X213 because of their supposed quality and customer service, but that is far from the truth. I bought it in May and drove it from Michigan to Washington State. The electrical would not run the unit except if it was hooked into my truck. No battery power. We went on one five day trip in June and the unit leaked all over the floor when hooked up to the water, and the air conditioning unit blew only warm air. Not a good start. We took it to Camping World in june and it is still there. They fixed the leak, but the Air needs a thermostat inside the unit. This is now late August and I still do not have it. They first said the delay was due to covid. Okay, so I had to wait. Then when the part did come into Jayco, they had it for over three weeks at the factory. The service department finally put it on a rush order and it came in last Friday. If you guessed that it was the wrong part, YOU WIN. So now, after two months it still sits at Camping world, and they do not know when the part will come in. I asked them to just order the part and I will pay for it, but they said it would void the warranty. I have worked my way up the Jayco food chain and talked to just about everyone. They are very nice, but I still do not have my brand new trailer. This has been a truly disappointing experience. I understand having a couple of small problems, but they did not need to sit on the part for over three weeks and it could have been the right part. I would give it back today if they let me. I was off for two months and we were supposed to stay out for Most of July and the whole month of August, but now my job is back and it is too late. Be careful of overhype.

We’ve towed our X213 1500 miles to upstate NY for Christmas and New Years for 4 years and experienced camping in snowy, -23F weather. (We had to use the stove top to heat up the thermostat to enable it to kick on as it didn’t like the cold and propane does freeze at these temps.) We’ve also driven 9800 miles via Route 66 to California, up the PCH and home I90 stopping at several National Parks along the way (114F in Texas, Arizona and New Mexico). We’ve been through 3 tow vehicles (07 Sequoia, 12 Armada, 15 Sequoia) and also towed with a 17 Tacoma and 00 Land Cruiser. Our family of 5 plus K9 has very much enjoyed the Jayco x213. It is nimble, handles well and having the Canadien insulation + hard sided, king-bed extension it has kept us feeling comfortable in all kinds of weather. For how we’ve used this camper, it’s been fantastic! I’m very pleased we went with a smaller overall package instead of getting a huge TT.
