I highly recommend this RV as traveled the road with it for seven months, moved out of my house and into the RV for another three years. The RV did everything I needed and more! No slides on the RV to break, you just hook up and go! It’s the perfect length, getting into all of the RV parks with no reservation. And the amount of beds you get, is a killer deal!

I wanted to love my Jayco Swift Li, but unfortunately, it's not met my expectations. The Li model with the 48-volt lithium battery and inverter cannot sustain or operate onboard systems as intended. The system loses connection whenever I unplug from shore power and drive, meaning I must do a soft reset every time I return to the campground. It's inconvenient and problematic, especially since I use the van as my primary vehicle while on trips. In addition, the Renogy system, while innovative, is not user-friendly. The rooftop solar won't bring in enough power to register a charge, let alone charge anything inside the RV. I can only get enough solar when I attach a portable solar panel to the external solar port. I've tested the system in full sun in Arches National Park and Phoenix, AZ, from multiple angles to no avail. Troubleshooting takes hours with the Renogy techs, and if and when the system works correctly, it resets, forcing me to do a hard reset of the entire solar and battery system. The Renogy battery is so complicated that even the RV techs where I purchased my RV have trouble operating the system (even while on the phone with tech support). I believe the Rengogy system is a good product, but it's just not ready to be placed on a consumer product.
Since the van has no propane or generator, everything operates off electricity. The air conditioner isn't strong enough to cool the van's interior, even while on shore power and in temperatures under 80 degrees. Likewise, the 30-amp electrical isn't strong enough to handle the Timberline heater. On more than one occasion, my Power Watchdog trips my electrical connection from 30-amp shore power. This happens when my AC is on a high setting or when I have the heat on and anything else inside the van (like the max fan). I never operate the induction stove, AC, or anything requiring more power when the AC or heat is on. I understand how RV electrical systems work, and I don't have these issues with my Airstream trailer (also powered by lithium and solar).
Aside from the major electrical issue, the van is poorly insulated, and the sliding windows fall off, rendering them useless. I've had my windows repaired, and several fell off again within a day of bringing my RV home from the shop.
I've had other warranty issues with the van, but some are common problems found in most RVs and are not worth mentioning because it's the nature of the RV industry. I have owned eight RVs, and I've never believed that a product wasn't consumer-ready as I believe this RV to be. I love the Dodge Promaster Chassis, and I am happy with the interior finishes, the floorplan, and some of the extras on the van. If the electrical system worked even part of the time, I'd not worry, but that's not the case. I hope Jayco and Entegra work to find a better lithium system because these campervans would be so popular if the system worked as intended.

We love the livability of our Jayco Swift 20T but since we purchased it in September 2021 new it has been in the shop twice and is headed there again. The UConnect unit, which provides the backup camera and blind site monitoring plus radio, etc., has gone out three times. Jayco wants us to take it back to Dodge to fix. Dodge says it is a Jayco problem and our dealer has been unable to fix it so it stays fixed. We also had to replace the entire heating/hot water Truma system in April. I think Jayco has failed on this unit. We are so disappointed because we have had to cancel two planned trips due to these issues. It is not safe to drive at this point.

I had the pleasure of owning this camper for just under 2 years. In the time, we used it about 30 times. This was my first time owning an RV, so I didn't know what to expect. We selected this particular camper because 1) Jayco had one of the best reputations for quality and 2) it had enough room for our family of four and 3) it could be towed by our Toyota Highlander. We were the 2nd owner of it when we purchased it in 2020 and since then we haven't had to do much to it except the usual maintenance and replace a few things that were my fault. Compared to what I read about other campers this one had been a great considering its age. The set up inside is great. It has bunk beds which my kids love and the table area folds down to a double bed for my wife and I. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for your trip and its also nice it has a full bath. As for towing, it was a breeze. We added a weight distribution hitch system and installed a brake control for adding safety. It was always a joy pulling this camper all around Texas visiting state parks.

This was My first trailer and I absolutely loved it until I discovered it always had a bent axel. When I first bought the trailer I Noticed a slight slight lag in the back tire. (2 axel, 4 tires) I asked the salesman on a later date and he said it was normal. I also asked a life long RV’er and he said it looks fine. Well 4 seasons later (summer only) the wheel almost fell off. Luckily it snapped when I was almost home. A friend of mine who builds and services semi trailers was there to help. The tire fell off when we jacked it up. The brake and bearing were completely incinerated. Judging by his diagnosis he believes the axel was bent from the manufacturer. Wear marks told the story. He believes the spindle was not welded straight on the drive. Thankfully no one was hurt. From now on i’ll stick with my gut feeling and pay more attention. Apparently this is not an isolated incident. I just hope my $$ bill isn’t too big.

I purchased this trailer brand new as to avoid any breakdown issues. On the 4th year of owning this trailer I went out to get it ready for camping and found out the floor had a soft spot in it. When I took it to my Jayco dealership they said the whole floor needed to be replaced at a cost of 14,000 and the trailer new was 19,000..There was never any sign of leaking under the trailer or on the floor most likely due to the vinyl flooring on top and the waterproof stuff used underneath. Whatever was going on the OSB plywood just kept soaking up the water till I found a soft spot. I had extra insurance but they would not cover it since they said it was caused from continuous leaking and most likely a manufacturer defect. I went back to the dealership on Vancouver Island to see if they would talk to Jayco but after a year of getting the run around from them they finally said they were getting nowhere with Jayco and could not do any goodwill either.. All I can say is if there trailers new only last 4 years they are absolute junk. When I ripped up the flooring to redo it the joists in the corners were mush and so was the OSB in certain spots. I would not recommend any Jayco trailers period.
