Bought a 2022 Jayco 166fbs last September 2021, did the dealership walk around and noticed the door was hard to open and close I thought it was due to being new and even mentioned it to the repair technician who agreed it was probably due to being new. I did not separate the screen door from the outer door which I should have done. Got the RV home and a week later while loading it I separated the screen door from the outer door and noticed the outer door was dented, buckled, and the bottom hinge pulled away from the door fame. I found that when you lower the swing down steps the door hits the top plate and puts the door in a bind. Contacted the dealer and after several months wait time finally got it in 6 weeks ago. Found out today Jayco, has denied my warranty claim, don't know why yet will contact the company tomorrow. RV has several other issues but, I fixed those myself, trailer is brand new and I haven't even had a chance to use it yet. Brought it straight home from the dealer in Houston and back to the dealer from Mcallen, Texas that's the only road time its had. Moral of the story is inspect real good before leaving the lot or don't buy a Jayco because, it's doubtful they'll honor their warranty!
