We traded in our Jayco Eagle for a 2020 Jayco Jay Flight. We loved the Eagle but it was over 6 years old so we figured we would get a new trailer for resale purpose. The layout is the reason we chose the trailer, it was identical to the Eagle which worked so well for our family. We are 2 seasons in and have had all kinds of trouble with this trailer. We went to plug in the TV in the bunk house and the electrical outlet fell apart.
Towards the end of season one, the furnace stopped working. The dealer we got to repair it told us that when he took the furnace out, it was already rusted due to a poor design on the outside where there is nothing to deflect the water from coming inside the trailer. Every time it rained the water would run down the pipe and enter the trailer. The furnace cost us $800 and still is not working properly.
This season (season 2 ) we were closing down for the winter to discover that the awning motor was ceased. We called the dealership we purchased it from to come and have a look as we could not retract it to close it down. We paid $200 for the site visit and then received an estimate totaling $4639.08.
We also discovered while draining the water from the tanks that the outdoor shower head had a hole burned through it. Electrical issues? This was very scary to see; what if a fire ignited while we were sleeping. We called and sent photos in an email to the dealership. We didn't get a reply other than we didn't file a claim before the warranty expired so we would be responsible for the cost.
I called Jayco to discuss the poor quality of the trailer. I explained that I am not looking for money. My concern is the quality of the trailer that was sold to me. They do not seem concerned with the issues I described. They just offered to give me the number of other repair companies I may try to fix the awning. They are totally missing the point. I would not recommend this trailer to anyone.

Biggest piece of crap I’ve ever owned. Everything you can think of has broken. Valve Under the bathtub was stripped from factory therefore leaked and wrecked all of our kitchen cupboards that needed to be replaced by warranty defective outdoor speaker, cracked bathtub, cracked sun shade in the bathroom, sadly the list goes on and we still have ongoing issues that have not been resolved.
The biggest ongoing issue we have is our fridge not being fixed. Hoping it gets resolved soon!

Jayco is a terrible produce with extremely brutal customer service. We bought a brand new travel trailer. We have had so many issues, lights, furnace, thermostat, slide out and even recalls. We continually have to bring the unit into the dealership for repairs. We have spent thousands of dollars and time just to get the unit to the dealership for repair. Of course, this means we do no trailer to use for weeks on end. Do yourself a favour and do not by a jayco product.

The floorplan with bunkhouse in this RV is EXCELLENT for family camping. Bad weather days were never a problem - the kids had their own playroom, equipped with their own entertainment center with TV, DVD, and game systems. The sliding door to the bunkhouse keeps the noise level in the rest of the camper excellent for the rest of the family. Plenty of room for everyone. The second exterior entry door is a blessing at the beach, from the pool, or when popping in from the outdoor kitchen.

I bought my 2018 Jayco Jay Flight 32BHDS from Hilltop RV in Fridley, MN. I also bought an extended warranty for extra assurance. There were a couple of small things that have gone wrong with it in the 2 years I've owned it but nothing major (shade was missing from the sunlight, bench seat cracked, table started peeling at the seam, and the closet rod fell down which was probably my fault for hanging up too many clothes). Hilltop RV stood by their product and fixed absolutely everything at no cost to me. Things sometimes happen and I get that. As long as they fix it, I'm cool. I absolutely LOVE the outdoor 'kitchen' which we use as a bar, LOL. The kids (3 teenagers) LOVE their bunkroom! They have their own TV, room to hangout, play games, watch movies and the door allows me not to see their mess, LOL.
The ONLY thing I'm not a fan of is the A/C unit is fairly loud.
I've read some not-so-nice reviews about this camper and think it's mostly about their dealer and not the actual camper. So choose your dealer wisely. Also, remember that these campers cannot be built with high quality products because with that comes weight. If you buy a Jay Flight, one of the selling points is that it's light-weight and you won't need a 2500 (or bigger) truck to pull it. And to put things into perspective, what I paid for my 2017 truck was 3 x's what I paid for my 2018 travel trailer. And I'm not living in my truck and only live in my trailer on the weekends, 5 months out of the year (remember, I live in the frozen tundra called Minnesota). Enough said.
Overall, I love my camper and it's mine and my family's happy place. I would highly recommend Jayco and also Hilltop RV! Happy Glamping! :)

Would not purchase again. Should have gone with the coachmen I was looking at. So many screws have popped out I lost count. There's places (like the air vents) where they only put one screw!!! Most of the screws are put in at a 10 to 30 degree angle... Power jack quit on me today which is awesome. I've had this rig for a week now and I totally regret it.
The locks are garbage, and are going to fail me soon, the door to the outside kitchen is out of whack, so those locks don't even work now. Materials are cheap, mostly particle board, and workmanship is shoddy at best.
Haven't heard great things about the customer service, but we'll see. My hopes aren't very high.
I hope someone reads this and doesn't make the mistake I did.
