Purchased new from a reputable dealer in Florida . Jayco customer service very responsive, quickly replaced a leaky window under their two year warranty.. The coach has been extremely reliable with a few minor issues over 40,000 miles. Ford V10 engine with tow/haul has been trouble free. Interior quality very good. Large basement compartments with pass throughs. No issues with genset , AC or appliances. Cab noise louder than I would like. Overall quality good.

Bought the 2023 Jayco Alante and have had nothing but issues with it. The refrigerator took over a year before that it was fixed properly. The front windows have been replaced four times. In January this year they replaced the passenger window for the third time. The RV did not get rained on until July and the window leaked like a sieve. Call Jayco and they said factory warranty was done in February you're on your own. They put four defective windows in my RV and they still don't stand behind their product. In the RV all the drawers kept opening and jamming in the slide out and two of the drawers broke sliding out into the back area. Jacob would not put the proper latches to keep them from sliding out. I had to purchase them and pay $200 to have them installed. The workmanship is shoddy and the customer service is atrocious. I've never spent so much money and treated so poorly. It's up to you if you want to buy a Jayco but I recommend Run to the Hills. Also I expect to hear nothing from Jayco

I recommend if you’re considering a Jayco product, spend a bit more money and get out of the bottom class of RVs, which definitely includes Jayco.

Live in Omaha. Bought new 2022 Alante 29S, from RV One (Tampa sight unseen) since local Jayco dealership wanted 20K$ more for exact same coach. First Class A I’ve owned. April 2022, flew Tampa. 1 hour walk through. Rock chips on front paint, dents in radiator pre-cooler (1300 miles on odo was told driven to RV One from manufacturer), couldn’t extend awning (another RV parked to close to passenger side but slide was out - later), hose underneath slide on inside (they fixed there), TV on inside on demo mode (later), fresh water tank heater thermo pads not attached (they fixed there), started coach, everything worked motorized wise, showed how radio/side/back up cams worked (later). Drove to hotel to leave for Omaha next day. Parked in hotel lot. Extended awning but it only retracted 3/4 way (enough to drive back following morning - they fixed). Drove back RV was all over road and every time shut coach off had to reset radio memory (later). En-route door was hard to open (later). Back in Omaha discovered RV out of alignment and rear fender well mud flap not correctly attached. Jayco customer service would not cover alignment “normal wear and tear” but would mud flap. RV One paid alignment. Should of been my first clue. May 2022. One weekend for shakedown. Problems. Called local Jayco could not get my coach service under warranty until Aug 2022. Jayco referred to 3rd party which got me July 6, 2022. In March 2023 3rd party said done. Reason I was told why it took so long was the 3rd party was waiting on Jayco to approve work before beginning the work and parts. TV’s (no cables from antenna to tv’s) from factory) radio (memory wire not connected-later), decal on outside kitchen (removed should not have been on the door), mudflap (no screws in front of wheel well), power outlet in kitchen (power was attached from factory), and it goes on and on. Home now but had to pay out of pocket $3200 up front to get my RV out of 3rd party shop (another Jayco story). Now backup/side cams not working. Called local Jayco dealership. Stated if I didn’t buy it from them they would not service it. Took back to 3rd party. Radio was bad (which controls cams). They didn’t say it but didn’t want to deal with Jayco and couldn’t do anymore without me contacted the radio manufacturer directly. June 2023. Called Jayco customer service and they got me in to local Jayco dealership but not until July 6, 2023 and my coach is still there as of September 6, 2023. My coach has 3200 miles on it and never has been used. Been the worst “investment”of my entire life. I will not go on as writing this gets me more PO’d.

purchasing the Jayco Allante 29. after only now for a few months and having to operate air conditioners and other equipment at the same time. It has come up that the 30 amp is not adequate enough for the usage of the appliances in the unit. There is time is it what AC is on the microwave and TV that it will ship the 30 amp breaker mind you that your refrigerator is also still on. I would think the Jayco would have tested is to make sure there’s enough power to run what is needed to be ran.

I bought this RV new. Have never been in an RV, let alone driven/ owned one. I drive it hard the first two years to get all the kinks out of it. The warranty, although slow and time consuming, was well used. I’m pretty sure all the kinks are worked out. I am a nurse so use my RV about 4-6 months out of the y at on travel assignments. It’s very roomy for one person. One of my dislikes is the little sofa. After an hour….it’s just comfortable. I’d love to figure out how to put recliners in. The other dislike is the ladder for the overhead bed. Holy moly; it is so difficult to get up that ladder and into the bed. It is straight up. I wish they would come up with a longer ladder to create a better incline. Driving my RV is really comfortable. I don’t feel any increased weight or pull when towing my Jeep. I love this little house of mine!

We've only had ours a month and overall pleased. This is our 3rd Jayco product over the years. We've always had Class C so it takes little getting used to. Our last was Jayco Melbourne with a Mercedes chassis that we loved but we needed more room. There's tons of storage in above and below deck in this 2022 Alante 29s. Has some very nice convince features. Love the accent lighting and very comfortable livability. My only complaint is a Class A complaint of not feeling as secure as in a Class C and not as easy to drive. Otherwise, I am very pleased so far.

We absolutely love this floor plan and the Modern Farmhouse interior. There's tons of storage inside, and tons below deck too. Then there's the outside kitchen which is awesome. But, along with the typical shakedown quality stuff, we've had significant drivability issues. First issue was our first time towing with it this past spring, it went into limp mode and traction control lights came on, turned the rig off and let it reset and it was fine for another 25 miles and it did it once more, then it was fine for the rest of the trip. Couple more trips this summer, towing the boat and passes no issues, but now I was prepared with a code reader to understand what was happening- if it happened again. In August, packing up for Labor day weekend, I fired it up and it was only running on 6 cylinders. Reader said P0300, P0303, and P0308 misfire codes. Called around to Ford dealers nearby, but none of them will see a Class A. Ordered new wires and plugs for #3, and #8 cylinders and replaced them. Back to running correctly, but I also had codes for Rear Window overtemp and Rear Window Sensor Feedback that I could not figure out. The trip went ok and we didn't have any issues, took it real easy and let it idle to stabilize temps like a turbo motor before shutting it down in attempt to not fail any more wires. Then there's our last trip for Thanksgiving. Wednesday morning the chassis battery is dead. Get it going with the house batteries- nice feature! But we have codes again, like the first time. Reduced throttle, TCS the works. Now we have P2127-Throttle position voltage errors. We can clear the codes and go about 10 miles before having to pull over and reset. Cut the trip short to get home and added more misfire codes too, but after about a dozen times plugging into the OBDII port, it broke and I can't read anymore codes. It's now home, and our Dealer, Valley RV in Kent, WA , Jayco, and Ford won't help until I can find a Ford Dealer who will give us an appointment.

Overall we like our 2019 Jayco Alante 26X. We went from a 40 foot rv to this size for easier maneuverability and we found the size very comfortable for the two of us. We purchased this used and one year old, and thus the company would listen to none of our concerns. The main concern was that although we are suppose to have a 40 gallon gray water tank we in fact have a 25.5 gallon tank. The company basically said to bad. Also under the drivers foot area there is no subflooring, so they put the vinyl over an area with nothing under it. It's now torn down to the bottom flooring area. I always thought Jayco was a pretty good company but with my experience, I have very little respect for the company. I will now replace the tank at my own expense. No more Jayco's for me.
