I bought this RV new. Have never been in an RV, let alone driven/ owned one. I drive it hard the first two years to get all the kinks out of it. The warranty, although slow and time consuming, was well used. I’m pretty sure all the kinks are worked out. I am a nurse so use my RV about 4-6 months out of the y at on travel assignments. It’s very roomy for one person. One of my dislikes is the little sofa. After an hour….it’s just comfortable. I’d love to figure out how to put recliners in. The other dislike is the ladder for the overhead bed. Holy moly; it is so difficult to get up that ladder and into the bed. It is straight up. I wish they would come up with a longer ladder to create a better incline. Driving my RV is really comfortable. I don’t feel any increased weight or pull when towing my Jeep. I love this little house of mine!

Overall we like our 2019 Jayco Alante 26X. We went from a 40 foot rv to this size for easier maneuverability and we found the size very comfortable for the two of us. We purchased this used and one year old, and thus the company would listen to none of our concerns. The main concern was that although we are suppose to have a 40 gallon gray water tank we in fact have a 25.5 gallon tank. The company basically said to bad. Also under the drivers foot area there is no subflooring, so they put the vinyl over an area with nothing under it. It's now torn down to the bottom flooring area. I always thought Jayco was a pretty good company but with my experience, I have very little respect for the company. I will now replace the tank at my own expense. No more Jayco's for me.

Have owned it 1 month. Ready to trade in. Not enough space to move around the bed. Cannot reach the head of the bed to make it without actually laying on the bed. Cabinets are so high I have to constantly move a stool to reach. (I am 5’2”). Large window over the dinette should be same size as smaller window over recliners to allow for 2 additional cabinets over the dinette. Shower head is on wrong side of shower. Should be on the opposite side for easier access to shower. Shower handles are too low. Step up into shower is too high. Medicine cabinet is too high to see my entire face in mirror. Only 1 AC does not cool the RV in 90 degree heat. Prefer day/night shades to the pull down type in this unit. Due to the lower floor (making the interior ceiling too high) the outside storage cabinets are too small.
We like the countertops

I do wish that there was more storage available on the outside or that at least one of the compartments was deeper and higher. Also wish ladder for roof access as available And the awning was larger. Overall 9.5 out of 10

I bought my Alante 26x in April 2019. After two trips, I had it in Camping world for warranty work. After 6 weeks, they finally found the parts and repaired the over head bed and replaced the decals. After 3000 miles, the battery "gel" exploded and I had to pay for another one as Jayco does not warranty batteries. I took a month long trip in December 2019...I. again, needed warranty work. It is now March and the RV has been in warranty limbo since January 7th (the parts have been on order...still waiting for the parts to come in, etc.) Either Jayco has the worst product out there, or Jayco hand makes all their products from scratch. At this rate, my RV has been in the shop 5 months in 1 year and used it 6 weeks. The warranty needs to be much longer than 2 years!.

I called the RV shop and jayco Company asked them how you expected me to pay for 100K for the RV and never got to use ones! And asked them what else do you want me to do with this crap!! One guy who’s working for jayco he said you still can use the RV and just wait for the repairs!!! I said to him do you know NY? Do you know is snowing here right now? I wish there was a bit more room around the queen-sized bed for making it, but it’s doable. A great RV!

Bought our first RV last month, which is the 2018 Allante 26X. Have only taken two small trips so far but plan on taking a 10 day trip coming up here next week. So far we absolutely love the motorhome. Motorhomes2go in Grand rapids have been great to work with. I’ve read some bad reviews on the handling of the Atlanti models, but I’m not sure what people expect, I think it goes down the road great. And everything else in and on the motorhome seems to work just as expected. Great job Jayco!
