Screws going through side walls with no caulk or sealant leaking... 4.Screws holding the drip edge on were drywall screws, no caulking or sealant coving them so water will get in... I was at the Tampa RV Show and spoke with the Eastern Reginal Sales Manager Martin Seneca sent him pictures and when he found out I was a second owner there was no more contact other than to tell me the warranty isn't transferable...

We have been RVing for over 20 years, having owned 5th wheels and a diesel pusher. We did exhaustive research before buying this Jayco Eagle HT from Richardson's RV, our local Jayco dealer. The sales process was excellent, as we dealt only with the internet sales associate. The unit itself was delivered to us in good shape, and it was evident that the dealer did their job getting the coach ready for a new owner. As expected, there were many items over the next 2 years that were covered under warranty, only one of which caused us not to be able to use the trailer- faulty wiring installed by the factory on a slide-out. since we couldn't travel, the factory stepped in to allow a local repair shop to do the work, with a substantial delay in getting parts from Indiana. All the other items were dealt with until enough failures were collected to make the 3 week dealer backlog worth a trip in for warranty work. Shoddy installation of tension style window shades mounted to foam!Leaky bedroom window mounting; poorly installed wiring to the converter; poorly installed entry door did not fit opening; cheap cabinet door hinge gave way under normal use; exterior cabinet door fell apart due to poor construction; extremely cheap front cap material and paint has faded and looks 20 years old already, to name a few of the major items. The industry has no standards, and few regulations, and works hard to get what little laws that favor the consumer reversed! It is a total buyer beware industry, where honesty and loyalty to customers is frowned upon. Manufacturers and dealers collude to create a monopolistic culture of greed and deceit. Overall, we feel lucky things were not worse, and that we were able to use the RV as expected, if not how it was portrayed by the industry. We would consider Jayco products again, but only if we obtained a seriously good deal to compensate for the below standard construction that is prevalent in the RV Industry today!

It has been a great 5er. Only problem was refrigerator but Mfg. quickly replaced cooling unit and I just replaced LP gas regulator. Never any exterior water leaks,no plumbing leaks. After previously owning a class A, a class C, and a travel trailer, this is the most comfortable to pull ( sometimes I forget it is behind me) my tow vehicle is a 2016 2500 Gas. Very satisfied with unit.

My wife and I have had minor issues with this fifth wheel. What we like is the size of the rv and the light weight. We had a 37' Cedar Creek fifth wheel but not camping as we once did, we decided to downsize. I pull this with my F-350 6.2l gas engine with a 4:30 rear. At around 8600lbs it pulls quite easily and the difference in gas mileage is minimal between the 3:73/4:30 rear but the benefit of the 4:30 pays off on the hills. The 27,5 RLTS is a nice camper, the layout is great for two retirees, I like the slide out for the closet even though there is not a lot of room in it. A minor complaint is getting entry to the living room, in that you need to open the slide at least a foot to get into and past the sink cabinet. Not a big deal but there are some that you can access the rv without opening the slideout. When on the road we often pull into a rest area for lunch and open the slide to get to fridge and eat our lunch. Bedroom is nice but the mattress we had to get changed as it sagged first time we used it. Changed under warranty. The front door would not stay closed unless you used the dead bolt. Door was replaced under warranty. After two years in the Florida sunshine the gray paint on the cap faded in spots to the white undercoat. It has been repainted under warranty. The bathroom mirror fell off of the cabinet. It was stuck on by strips of double back tape from the factory. It was replaced under warranty with a better method. Our RV was equipped with 50 amp and 2 a/c's and here in Florida believe me you will need it. This RV has minimule insulation in the walls and with the heat and the sun 1 a/c will not do very well. I recommend 50 amp and at least you can upgrade to the 2nd a/c later if purchasing a new one. With the minor problems we have had I can say we are happy with our choice of rv. Jayco has a quieter a/c arrangment in the ceiling that masks the noise of the running a/c. It doesn't totally run quiet but it is less noisy than a standard a/c in the ceiling. You can watch tv without changing the volume. As far as the dealer we bought from RVOne Tampa, and so far the dealer has been able to take care of our warranty issues even during a total remodel of their facility. I would recommend Jayco from our experience with our 27.5 RLTS.

We purchased our 5th wheel in August knowing that the Minong Salespeople used this camper as a demo in Duluth once. We would never have imagined that they used the toilet,,, WITHOUT WATER OR CHEMICALS IN THE TOILET. The salespeople had to use the camper more than they let on as the toilet caked up and was not able to drain. Twice we had it back to the service people drying to unclog the gross mess (service people were very obliging). Can you imagine camping and unable to flush your toilet as soon as you arrive at the campground?! When the salespeople were told about the gross mess they made, it was like they didn't care; they got their money - oh well! This was in Minong, Wisconsin.

Don't waste that $4500 to 5000 on extended warranty cause they can't fix in 2 years. Don't like making payments when I have nothing to show for it on my property or be able to use it. Won't by anymore RV's at all.

We purchased this Jayco in October 2016. The big selling feature was the combination of a nice floor plan and lightweight towing. The woodwork was really nice and the decor was comfortable and pleasing. We have been very disappointed in the quality of the unit. The bedroom door doesn't close because the door jamb is not square, the back window doesn't latch and opens while we are driving, you can also push it open when the RV is locked up. The beautiful woodwork that so attracted us is falling apart on the slide out room. The sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom has completely come off the track and all the hardware is no longer usable. To top it off, 2 weeks ago we were camping in the rain and I watched water coming in and rolling down the wall from one of the windows. On the other side of the living area, the carpet was completely drenched and I am not sure if it is the window or the roof of the slide out room that is the problem. ON top of all the frustrations that we could deal with if they were repaired, we had to wait 2 months to get a warranty service appointment. We called a week after we dropped off the unit and were told it was appointment to be "in-line for service" not an appointment FOR service. The dealer said it takes anywhere from 12 days to 3 weeks for them to even begin the job. So they could have the rig for anywhere from 4-8 weeks or more. Oddly enough, I am most disappointed in the quality of the electronics that were used. The owners manual is a joke. The Furion product is not a quality product at all. Overall a very disappointing experience with Jayco and dealer. For anyone purchasing an RV, I recommend you check out your dealer carefully. You are stuck with them for the length of your warranty.
