Bought new right after Covid and had some initial shakedown issues. Resolved them with the dealership and have not had any recurring issues. Drives and tows great. Like that we can see the tow vehicle on the screen inside as well. The bunks came in handy not only for sleeping but used the top bunk for some additional storage, not that we needed it as there is TONS of storage in this RV. She’s been a dream.

Interesting I can’t find my Jayco RV which is a 36C, so I chose a different one because it is important to impress upon anyone to NOT buy a Jayco Class A Motorhome. We bought brand new 2022. Off the lot, blinds fell in living room, hot water was plumbed wrong. Got them fixed and blinds broke everytime they were repaired due to bad installation. They finally admitted it wasn’t done right and fixed it with upgraded install, but we had to fight for 2.5 years to get it right. The bunk over driver broke 3 times, and we gave up, because they fix it, we drive off the lot and it breaks again. Now the drawers in kitchen are easily breaking, the kitchen sink has fallen and detached from the counter. Overall it is so cheaply made you only have a 1-2 year life span on the interior before you will be constantly fixing it. On a plus side the motor works, so we don’t have mechanical issues

We purchased this RV new after bad luck with our last Jayco Seneca (2018). We thought it was just a bad unit and we had bad luck. We were wrong. The floor plan is pretty nice. Beyond that, there is nothing good to say. Jayco Warranty takes weeks to approve any repairs. This is how they are able to offer 2 years, because if you get anything fixed it will sit at your dealer waiting for Jayco's response. Ours has been sitting for 9 of the last 11 months to have fiberglass cracking issues repaired around all three slide outs. Jayco delays every step of the process. The dealership has to send photos of the problem...wait a few weeks for approval to see where the problem started. Then they show the findings, and another few weeks of delay to approve them to look further. After the problem is found, then it is another 4-6 weeks for them to approve the repair. Lastly, they delay shipping the parts needed to make the repair for another 4-6 weeks. This was the case with our old one, and now our newer one. The overall build quality is what you should expect from the shottiest contractor you have every seen. Jayco has the game figured out to make their coin, and move you out of warranty without fixing the problems. Every trip something else falls apart. My wife keeps a container in the kitchen for all the screws she finds when she is cleaning so that I can go get them when I find what fell apart. Everything is held together with self tapping screws. The majority of them are stripped out, or loose. Junk is the best word for Jayco.

My motorhome has been having issues since it was new. It’s been down over 4 months waiting on approval and parts from Jayco. The door hasn’t been right since I bought the motorhome in August 2022. This problem has been worked on multiple times but never fixed. About 3 months after I purchased to motorhome, Affinity notified me that there was a crack in the cab over. I’m a little concerned that there is structural damage in the door area that wasn’t addressed when the crack was repaired. They knew about the damage when they sold me the motorhome but failed to mention it.
The issues, besides the door are:
Leveling system doesn’t work
Cameras, backup and sides do not work.
CO alarm goes off intermittently when operating generator
Wall paper in bathroom coming off
Tiles in bedroom loose
When I fill the fresh water tank and start driving, the water siphons out.
The center burner on the stove fails to light from the striker intermittently. The results of which are a flash of fire under the stove top when the propane ignites.
The intermittent issues never seem to occur when checked by the technician. So, nothing is done.
The procedure for getting a motorhome repaired is very time consuming and frustrating both for the customer and the dealership.
Step 1 Make an appointment to drop off the motorhome.
Stem 2 from 1 to 2 weeks after drop off to have a technician diagnose the problem
Stem 3 take pictures and submit warranty claim
Step 4 Jayco takes 1 to 2 weeks to review the claim and notify the dealership
Step 5 order parts or repeat step 4 if Jayco needs more information.
Step 6 parts are shipped
Step 7 parts are received takes a week or more
Repair is now 4-6 weeks in and actual repair is just starting.
Probably takes another week to assign a technician and start repair.
I took my motorhome in on October 17,2023. I picked my (not repaired) motorhome up on two different occasions because I had plans and reservations. I took it in last week because Jayco needed more pictures. The dealership told me to take it home as they have no idea when they’ll get parts and actually repair it.
My motorhome is just over 16 months old with about 6500 miles and has been in the shop 3 times as much as it’s been on the road.
I was told that I have 2 year bumper to bumper warranty. I’m over 2/3 into that warranty and still waiting to have day 1 issues taken care of.

Live in Omaha. Bought new 2022 Alante 29S, from RV One (Tampa sight unseen) since local Jayco dealership wanted 20K$ more for exact same coach. First Class A I’ve owned. April 2022, flew Tampa. 1 hour walk through. Rock chips on front paint, dents in radiator pre-cooler (1300 miles on odo was told driven to RV One from manufacturer), couldn’t extend awning (another RV parked to close to passenger side but slide was out - later), hose underneath slide on inside (they fixed there), TV on inside on demo mode (later), fresh water tank heater thermo pads not attached (they fixed there), started coach, everything worked motorized wise, showed how radio/side/back up cams worked (later).
Drove to hotel to leave for Omaha next day. Parked in hotel lot. Extended awning but it only retracted 3/4 way (enough to drive back following morning - they fixed). Drove back RV was all over road and every time shut coach off had to reset radio memory (later). En-route door was hard to open (later).
Back in Omaha discovered RV out of alignment and rear fender well mud flap not correctly attached. Jayco customer service would not cover alignment “normal wear and tear” but would mud flap. RV One paid alignment.
Should of been my first clue.
May 2022. One weekend for shakedown. Problems. Called local Jayco could not get my coach service under warranty until Aug 2022. Jayco referred to 3rd party which got me July 6, 2022.
In March 2023 3rd party said done. Reason I was told why it took so long was the 3rd party was waiting on Jayco to approve work before beginning the work and parts. TV’s (no cables from antenna to tv’s) from factory) radio (memory wire not connected-later), decal on outside kitchen (removed should not have been on the door), mudflap (no screws in front of wheel well), power outlet in kitchen (power was attached from factory), and it goes on and on.
Home now but had to pay out of pocket $3200 up front to get my RV out of 3rd party shop (another Jayco story). Now backup/side cams not working. Called local Jayco dealership. Stated if I didn’t buy it from them they would not service it.
Took back to 3rd party. Radio was bad (which controls cams). They didn’t say it but didn’t want to deal with Jayco and couldn’t do anymore without me contacted the radio manufacturer directly.
June 2023. Called Jayco customer service and they got me in to local Jayco dealership but not until July 6, 2023 and my coach is still there as of September 6, 2023.
My coach has 3200 miles on it and never has been used. Been the worst “investment”of my entire life. I will not go on as writing this gets me more PO’d.

Purchased our 2022 Jayco (Mercedes) Melbourne 24L from a dealership in Winnipeg Manitoba. From the very first day, there were problems with the coach door, it would not stay shut. It even sprung open while driving down the highway. Took it back to the dealership, they did something with the door, so it would stay shut. However, on our first trip with this unit, the door handle assembly came off in my hand by the end of the first day. Soft white metal shaft stripped off the flimsy snap ring holding it together. Waited almost 2 months for a replacement door handle. In the meantime, I rigged up a zip tie to pull open the door latch. As well, the auto levelling system works when it feels like it. Worked after several incidents of turning the system on and off. Within the two months waiting for the door handle, went on a second overnight trip, 30 amp service stopped working. Service outlet & cord each tested good, power light indicator outside the coach was on, however, no power to any part of the coach. Plugged into a 15 amp, things worked appropriately, including the refrigerator. We of course didn’t even try the A/C or heat with only a 15 amp.
Got home & parked the unit. Went to start it up so we can take it in for the warranty on the door and the electrical problems, and the E brake would not release. It is still parked in my yard, an hour & 1/2 away from the dealer/service. Apparently I have to get a Mercedes technician to deal with THAT issue. Perhaps other Jayco/Mercedes units are better, but we’ve got ourselves a lemon.

The glue they used to mickey mouse this unit together has dripped all over the cabinetry leaving yellow residue all over the the cabinets. The unit has been a complete crap show. The Solar that came with the unit has been totally useless. Everything is smoke and mirrors. The finish on the cabinets are peeling off. We are completely disappointed with this purchase. We haven't had this unit for a year yet and it feels and looks 10 years old already, without even a good 4 months of use . The most use it has gotten is being stuck at the dealership. I called the manufacturer and the lady who is an attorney was so rude but in her rudeness she asked me if I was and attorney and then it clicked; I am not an attorney but I will have one shortly.
