We’ve had this trailer 6 years and love it. It’s been the perfect trailer for our family trips. The most we’ve spent in it was 30 days straight From Texas to Montana and back. It’s held up great. The only issue we’ve had are the plastic fenders crack at the screw holes and we lost one fender going down the road. I replaced it and used padded washers and sealed the edge for extra strength and haven’t had that issue again. All the systems have been flawless with no issues.

I am a long time user of truck Campers and have over time had a half a dozen models all of which have pluses and minuses. I recently purchased the above trailer used and am disappointed in its construction.
Firstly it does not have back up lights in the tail lights. This means that I have to run wiring to operate back up lights and a camera from the tow vehicle.
Secondly the floor sheeting was not sawn so that the joints were over a joist or crossmember leaving a soft spot in a high traffic area and causing the floor covering to stretch. Had to screw in a metal sill plate to reinforce the area and stop any further break down.
Seam trim over bunk not aligned properly which caused inside skin to pull back and sag.
This unit has a solar panel and has 2 golf cart batteries ($250 each) which always have to be connected so the solar panel does not burn out. I had to design a locking system to deter theft.

Great overall travel trailer, well built! I highly suggest this camper! We have personally tiny lived in this camper for 2 1/2 years and had zero issues whatsoever. When I was looking for a camper I was looking for something that had a lot of extra space in living space, and what I really love about this camper is it has two slide outs right in the middle with an island in the kitchen. This camper meet all of our needs and then some!

Having a small trailer 16.5 feet for my first towing experience was great. Loved this little trailer. A bit small for two adults sleeping (my hubby is 6’1” and large). This is the worst camper I have ever owned. I've been in it twice and it's been in the shop twice. First time my shower leaked all outside because drain was broken from manufacturer, then when they tried to fix it, they found jayco put the access panel on wrong end and had to make a new one. The outside kitchen leaked all inside the trailer because they didn't put a simple swivel house so everytime you pull out and push in the house couldn't move with it. They finally fixed it then next trip a big bolt came through the floor right in the middle of the floor and the hot water heater broke. This is just 2 times out!!!! If I used it more, I'm positive something else would break. Seriously, DO NOT BUY JAYCO! Thor bought it out a few years ago, quality went straight down!

My wife and I purchased this model of Jayco Jayfeather, new, in 2016. We have had several motorhomes and another trailer, and unlike the others we found the Jayco to be trouble free and easy to pull. When I purchased the trailer I had the dealer install an anti-sway bar, however, I have never had to use it even when traveling in the west with very strong crosswinds. The Jayfeather is light weight and has fewer exterior seams than other trailers which make it very watertight and relatively maintenance free. I definitely would recommend this make and model.

I loved how easy the Jayco was to tow. I used a Kia Sorrento as my tow vehicle. I had no problem pulling the trailer with my Kia. I pulled the trailer out to Texas for family reunion it was so handy when I stopped at road side park with no restroom to use the one in the trailer just turn the pump on and bathroom was active. I was amazed at the amount of storage for the trailer size. I did use a 3 inch topper on the beds the mattress that it came with were not thick enough for me. My daughter and I had no trouble backing the trailer in and setting it up. Took the two of us about 20mts to have it all set up beds made etc. I liked the combination of the main area like a regular trailer and the ends tent like so you still get the feel of being close to nature. The only problem I ran into was finding a reliable repair place. You have to watch like hawk (Half done work) and over charge on the bill this is not the trailer fault but the sales place.

Once the grand kids grew up I use the back bedroom as an office/craft room but still have room for guests. It has the outdoor kitchen so you don't always have to dirty the inside kitchen. We removed the big dinette to make more room for comfortable seating. Dinette can easily be put back on.
