I have owned and camped with this camper for 4 years. We have loved it! It is very easy to tow and set up. Jayco is a very high quality camper. This would make a good camper for the first time RV owber. Show less

This unit was brand new when I bought it ! from day one I had problems the air conditioners blew up first day camping world of course came and got it right away,then the roof leaked had to take back to the shop the whole front was damaged camping world did a horrible job trying to fix the damage,We again have a roof leak although under canopy! I would Not recommend this unit to anyone and jayco does not from day one stood by their product when it was at camping world for repairs they would say well jayco doesn't cover that or won't pay for that they kept it almost 2 months and I got back caulking all down the front piece of junk! Do not buy Jayco! Show less

Great unit! Very comfortable, large beds for everyone, spacious floorpan, unique with bunks in front of unit and actual master bedroom with slide out! Jayco is a great brand, known for quality and longevity. Tons of storage and useable outdoor kitchen! Also loved the walkable roof and ladder access! Show less

Have had the front window repaired twice... leaking again. Refrigerator sometimes works. Taillights always a problem. Battery replaced twice. Roof repairs as not finished from factory. I have owned 5 campers. Bought this camper new in 2015.... thankful I kept my 2005 sublime...I now use it instead of my Jayco.... anyone want it. Will whole sale it. Show less

We have owned a Jayco eagle 338rets for 5 years now and the functionality has been good for the most part with only a few minor problems early on such as poor quality cabinetry as we have had multiple cabinet doors fall off from poor hinges or poor material they are fastened into. That being said we enjoyed many things like the layout,king size bed,and fireplace.The big problems though in the last couple of years have been one of the three slide-outs leaks every time it rains so we have to pull it in every time there is bad weather as we are a long distance to a dealership for repair.Jayco also had a defective batch of paint on this model and the front cap area is totally faded out and looks terrible,it happened after the 2 year factory warranty and even though we had purchased an additional 5 year warranty Jayco would not do anything to help the situation and the customer service department was extremely rude and could care less about the customer.just recently we spent a night in the rv and had to leave for a day.Upon return we were greeted to water all over the floor,the problem was a faulty toilet that Kept running and flowed over. I had to bring the rv back to the dealer for repair and in inquiring about our extended warranty and if it would be covered the response was only the defective part. My advice is that from my experience with Jayco they have some great features but from a customer service aspect I would not recommend this brand to anyone and especially not to waste your hard earned money on their extended warranty as i have found it totally worthless if you decide to purchase this brand.Also just a reminder as I learned the hard way always turn your water off if you are connected to a city water supply or well water supply with a pressure pump it could save a large disaster like the one I had. Jayco is a very reputable brand. I was a full-time traveler in 14 states and my TT was very reliable. It was easy enough to maneuver and comfortable enough to live in. The equipment and systems worked as promised. Show less

Overall experience has been great with one exception. We special ordered this camper with faux leather furniture. Mistake! About 3 years in the upholstery started separating. Have had to buy both chairs and loveseat to replace old. Dinette has a some in it too so we are in process of have it recovered. Other than that we love the camper. Show less

A great travel trailer for our family. The X23B hybrid (tents on the end) design is an excellent choice, especially if you are looking for a lightweight design with plenty of space, and also accessibility while rolling down the road. Show less

Bought trailer new from dealer. For the most part we enjoy it.The only problem we have is that it has 2000 lb axles and 7 in brakes. I contacted Dexter axle who makes the axle and they told me that the axle and brakes were too small for a 4000 lb trailer. The 7 in brakes DON'T STOP even when the controller is at the highest setting it barely slowsdown. I brought it back to the dealer and they checked out ok. Contacted JAYCO but didn't get any answers to the problem. If you buy a travel trailer be sure to check the axles and brake size. Very dissatisfied with JAYCO service. Show less

Great trailer. Solid the whole five years we've owned it. Easy to tow as it's lighter weight. It has a newer appearance inside the trailer with cream and light brown color hues. The wraparound dining table has been really nice for four to six people. The memory foam queen bed is very comfortable and it's really convenient for the kids to be able to bring friends because there are full size bunks. The couch has the ability to lay down into a bed or be used as a couch which has been nice when watching movies with the family. Show less
