Our Eagle was a complete Home Run for our family. We have used the camper for 100 trips in 10 years. The outdoor kitchen is amazing and I used it on every trip, I live in Colorado and purchased it new from a dealer. It is still in great shape and as our children grew we loved the features of the bunk house and the kitchen with the pantry island gave us enough storage for all our meal even when we went for extended trips to Yellowstone or North Dakota. This trailer has held up wonderfully and is still is excellent condition. We have maintained it well and have done very few repairs. It has held up great even though we got this when our kids were very young. We spent all our weekends out in the mountains or at dog shows all around the western US.
I really don't have an idea of the miles I have pulled this but it pulled great all the time and I believe we are on our 3rd set of tires. Probably close to 40000 miles.
I would tell you that Jayco puts together a very reliable comfortable and beautiful camper, if your looking at an Eagle the quality is unequaled.

My wife particularly likes it when frying things it keeps the smell outside. This a great camper

This is our 3rd jayco eagle. Although the layout is what we wanted it comes with issues. For example, seeking warranty repairs. Local jayco dealer wouldn't touch it because we didn't buy it from him. We bought at show. Little did we know you have to return to seller for repairs, over 100 miles away verses 5 miles away. Experienced tire fails from cheep China bombs, ac leeks, roof damage, gel coat paint failure on front cowling, stabilizer arms break and bend with minimal load, floor creeks in two areas, barrel fan replaced in forced hot air unit, broke due to construction debri entering fan area, faucet handles fall off, cheep China junk, new thermostat installed, capacitors replaced on A/C, tires replaced, still had 8/32 tread after 3 yrs. List goes on... So my advice to a new buyer, yes, they all look nice when new. But buyer beware all this happened within 2-3 yrs of ownership. They are hardly worth the investment for entertainment. Be prepared to spend your free time fixing this stuff that comes off the assembly line with no pride or quality assurance checks. Our usage of unit is low to moderate. Only catering to two campgrounds within 100 miles from home mostly on no tow programs. Enjoy while you can. Repairs never end

It also gives the parents more livable space in the rear with the large master bedroom.

we have owned this since new, i have major issues with the slide outs and the refrigeration unit , in the 6 years i have owned it, i either have had issues with slides, or the refrigerator, it seems every year i use it, i have to have one or both fixed.
this last situation, the super slide crapped out, $600 for a replacement motor, so far that makes 4 motors, and 2 wiring issues since i owned it on a total of 4 slid-outs , as for the refrigerator, we have replaced 2 thermostats, and 2 ( i think they are called starters) .
other than that we love the unit, and hope to still own it for another 10 years and park it in a yearly spot for weekly visits.

We've had smaller 5th wheels and trailers in the past. This one gave us all the space our family needed until we've added more grandkids in past few years. Very open living space because of the full length double slide outs on rainy days. Great closet space and kitchen storage. The fireplace was a perfect addition to take the chill out of cold evenings and chilly mornings. More refrigerator space than we had in the past.. Neo angle shower is plenty big
in nice size bathroom with skylight for great morning sun. Vinyl floor at entrance gives you full access to the kitchen without getting on carpeting.

We had owned previous to the Purchase of the Jayco, a used Cedar Creek. In shopping around for a new unit, We were immediately impressed by the rear kitchen.. What room we had WITHOUT the island in the middle. We never felt we bought the wrong 5th wheel. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, we need to give it up.. Our children always complimented us on how beautiful this was. We always were asked by strangers in our resort where we had it parked, if they could check out the floor plan.. Everyone agreed that the rear kitchen was unique and agreed on a stationary island took up so much room. I would buy a Jayco again and again...

We received our trailer with a few things that needed to be done some was done we still have a lot of cause medical things to be done the antenna didn't work we've had a few dents and scratches that was delivered that way they are to be fixed I'm waiting to see if these things get done I have faith that Jim's trailer will do as they say we take at the end of next year to be fixed as an agreement that we have worked out because we seasonal camp and my husband husband wasn't able to take the deck down that Jim's allowed us to bring it at the end of 2015 we had over eighteen things that had to be fixed so we'll see I know somethings are just cosmetic but when you pay big dollars for a camper expect them to be it to be nice and that's what I expect I didn't buy a used camper can't rate the driveability or towing because we haven't done it
