Below is an e-mail I sent to customer support. On delivery, this unit had a broken bathroom skylight from overtightening the screws. The side panel on the pantry is broken and the gutter in the fridge was laying on a shelf, broken. The gas struts on the awning are both slightly bowed and are getting in a bind. The bad one is the rainwater leak in the wall at the egress window in the bedroom. I didn't know there was a leak until the wall started blistering. Couldn't believe my eyes what I saw up on a ladder. Again, Winnebago just sent the unit out for sale like this. Who does this BS? Winnebago! I have 5 pics of the exterior of this window if I can attach them. Recent e-mail follows. Let me say something right off the bat. I DID NOT push this window out. In case that wasn't clear, I DID NOT push this window out and that's the end of that. When I got on a ladder to cover the window with plastic, I could not believe what I was seeing. What I believe I was seeing was the worse case of shoddy workmanship on installation I have ever seen, and by Winnebago, not the window manufacturer. There is NO Vendor tag on the window. Who does this kind of work then sends the coach to be sold. This is a 2024 piece of crap. I've had more things go wrong with this coach, starting with a bathroom skylight that was cracked, broken and leaking. The Pic with the 25 cent piece is showing this window frame bent/bowed out without any caulking. The other Pics are self explanatory. Let me tell you something else. I bought this at Johnson RV in Fife, Washington. I have never seen a work place filled with so many incompetent people, including the service department. The only one knowing what he was doing was the guy filling in all the loan paperwork. The only thing I noticed during the walk through was that 1 exterior speaker was not working. It took them 8 Weeks, 8 WEEKS to get that speaker working. They ordered another speaker without checking anything else. The speaker was back ordered and took WEEKS to get, and then when they received it, guess what, the new speaker DID NOT work either. If they did not have an extra speaker to try they should of removed one of the interior speakers to try. If it didn't work they would know something was wrong somewhere else. Then it took them WEEKS to figure it out. One more thing. I'm having a Winnebago authorized Mobile RV Repair Co coming out to do the repair. This guy KNOWS HIS STUFF. He took an Airstream and turned it into a mobile Doctor's Office. It's refreshing to meet someone that actually knows what their doing. Next, this really sounds stupid to me, that Winnebago will not pay for the $180 Mobile Service Fee because it's for Convenance. In fife, Washington I wanted the service department to do a few things and inquired about the hourly cost for labor in the service department. They told me their labor for Service is $250 per Hour. $250 PER HOUR! I said no I will do it myself. My Mobile Guy charges $180 service and $120 per hour. So, instead of Convenance, Winnebago wants me to be Inconvenienced, take the coach into a dealership and have it be there for weeks, instead of getting it fixed on site in a day or so. Winnebago would rather have a dealership charge Winnebago $250 per hour fixing the wall and leak. Instead of having my Mobile guy fix it for $120 per hour. That mobile service fee would be more than paid for in 2 hours with labor @ $120 a hour. Winnebago would be saving money every hour after that. I've had it with the incompetence I've seen at the dealerships. Word-of-Mouth Advertising is free and can be good or BAD! Which way do you want to see this go? I want this fixed on sight and Winnebago paying the $180 fee. I don't understand why Winnebago would rather pay more money to get this fixed (MAYBE), at a dealership, when I have a guy who's competent and will do the job right, THE FIRST TIME, and not take weeks Where's the service after the sale? Get lots of attention before the sale, nothing afterwards. I choose Winnebago because the on-line reviews were favorable and I liked the floor plan and the solar. WAS I WRONG! Does Winnebago have any Quality Control? I hate to have to write all this but this is discussing and makes me sick that I could have made a bad choice with Winnebago. If I can't get this resolved favorably I will be doing some online reviews myself. Update: I received an e-mail this morning from Winnebago customer service, 8/28/24, and He acted like I never wrote any of the above. Beware of buying a Winnebago. I bought this in December of 23' and have been fixing crap both myself and a pro ever since. Buy at your own risk.

After traveling in my Winnebago Voyage 3235 RL for 4 months, I can confidently say I would recommend any of my friends against Winnebago. In the few short months I've owned the unit: - The slides are already rusted as is the rest of the metal exposed underneath. - Boards are separating from the kitchen island. - Both slide outs have leaked, and the ceilings above and walls around are now rippled from the water damage. - Kitchen sink leaked. - Shower leaked from around the unsealed door as well as the drain. - There are nails that completely missed the boards they're supposed to hold. - Floor flexes uncomfortably near the rear when walking across it. - Screws have fallen out of the trash can. - Shower wall isn't fitted properly and bulges out. - Wall above the bed isn't sealed and has a gap across it. - Tension pole to help lift the bed is broken. - The handle to empty one of the gray tanks has bent and broken. - Electric fireplace heater is making a loud whining noise when turned on - The fridge randomly stops working with an E3 error that also randomly stops, sometimes in a couple minutes, sometimes in a couple hours - The battery had to be replaced My one request for help from the dealer went unanswered, and Winnebago has no interest in working with me aside from telling me to go back to the dealer. Poor quality and poor customer service all the way around

I lived in Montana for about a year in this camper while traveling for work. Really loved the layout of this camper and it was nicely designed. Truly enjoyed watching tv at night with the fireplace going during cold Montana nights. HOWEVER, to say it had problems is an understatement. The leaks never stopped, none of the plumbing was properly installed. I stopped counting at 20 leaks. The fridge stopped working after 5 months and the board had to be replaced. The bedroom never closed correctly so I gave up on using it. The table ripped out of the floor when it was towing. The bed frame collapsed when I got up one morning and I am not a very big person. One of the motors on the jack had to be replaced because it stopped working. Both of the theater seats broke and wouldn’t recline. The seal on the shower wasn’t done correctly and caused water damage. The ac sounded like a helicopter hovering on the roof. This was my 5th camper and I take very good care of my things but I actually felt anxious worrying about what was breaking next and how hard (and expensive) it would be to get it fixed. Winnebago has ZERO QC. What a piece of junk. I believe at one time they were known for their quality but times have changed.

The seam between the roof and back wall has failed in allowing a considerable abount of water to run between the walls. There was no sign of a leak as the water was draining underneath and we only discovered the problem when one of the wall mounted lights quit working. The dealer said that this is a common problem as did other dealers in our area. No dealer wanted to deal with it and Winnebago is not repsonding to my calls nor the on line contact form. Indpendant repair shops have estimated the material cost to be in the range of $2,500 to $3000 with labour costs more than double that figure. We have quotes to do the job from $5,500 to $10,000 and we have to remove the trailer from the park and take it to a repair shop. This is a 2017 model and due to my wifes health we have no travelled with it . It is essentially used as a part model. What should we do?

Where do I begin?, Roof leaks, plumbing problems, plumbing leaks, , appliance failures, storage door leaks, mechanical problems. Purchased new in February 2022 from General RV (a whole other horrible experience) and nothing but problem from delivery until today. It's been back to General RV at least 10 times and back to Winnebago for 3 and 1/2 months and is still n ot repaired properly. You tell them exactly what the problem is and they come back and tell it seems to be working properly and never fix it. And General RV and Winnebago point fingers at each other and nothing gets fixed.

This is only a partial list of problems on a NEW unit. Sad thing is I have cc'd Winnebago Service on all these issue and not one call or email from them. Re: Damage and Delivery of My Winnebago Voyage - Part 8 Well now that we’ve had rain you can add two major water leaks to lists of problems with this piece of garbage. The storage area has a leak, I suspect through the doors, to the point where I had puddles inside the storage area and it leaked into the closed area where the plumbing and electrical enter the unit behind the service panel. Additionally, after cleaning that up, I sat in a chair in the slide-out and within a minute my wife and I heard water running. She followed the sound toward the bedroom only to discover water streaming down onto the nightstand from the closet above. She opened the closet but there was no water in the closet. The water was entering mid-wall where the bottom of the closet was screwed into the exterior. I suspect there is a roof leak and it followed the channel to a screw hole in the side of the wall. Someone needs to be here Monday to check all the seals and stop these leaks OR you can pick this piece of garbage up and refund our money. I’m done. Part 5 - Add three more issues to the list of problems on this piece of garbage you sold me. Your guys came out and repaired two of the three issues but upon trying to fix the fridge light they discovered an electrical problem that I am waiting to hear about. One of the relays in the fridge control panel is damaged and has now made the fridge light unusable. Add to that, the “Security Lights” on the exterior front of the trailer are not working; another electrical issue. In addition to that your tech was having trouble closing the fridge door and I discovered why. The left side door that has the cross-door sealing strip is mounted about 3/16” lower than the right and because of that the cross-door sealing bar is not engaging the closing mechanism; it’s riding underneath it. As part of that problem I think the sealing strip is damaged and is causing wear on the back of the strip and the fridge liner. See all the pictures. As we approach our first camping trip the problems mount. Fix it immediately or pick this piece of garbage up and refund my money. We are getting very, very close to lawyer time. Part 4- So my “new” Winnebago is finally delivered two months after purchasing it at the Harrisburg Show with additional problems. We didn’t come back to Harrisburg to re-inspect it based on your promise and guarantee that you would personally do a walkthrough and make sure everything was “new” condition. Somehow your perception of new and my perception of new must be different. The gravel guard on the exterior lower front is not fitted and mounted properly. Someone stole a screw from the molding that should be holding the sheet metal and put it in the corner to hold it fast but there is still a gap that will catch wind at highway speeds and tear it off. I look in the shower and one of panel mounting pins is popped out and head is snapped off. Additionally there is a pink mess in the shower. Lastly the fridge that was previously in shamble is still not properly mounted and is going to fall out from vibration on the first trip. AND, I CANNOT FIND THE KEYS. They were not in the pouch with the instructions and not in any of the drawers. I cannot begin to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with your company’s handling of my purchase. My wife and purchased the camper with great expectations on February 26th. We felt your company gave us a great deal and we were excited in anticipation of receiving our camper. It has been nothing short of a major disappoint ever since. Upon our deposit at the show the show the camper should have been locked and not allowed to be opened as we had seen other companies do the same, yet when we came to do our orientation and walkthrough we find there had been a “small water incident” in the bathroom causing the laminate on the bathroom closet to peel. And, upon opening the refrigerator, the light was completely falling off the refrigerator wall. We also discovered the cracked fender but that was probably damage at factory installation. Granted you willingly offered to repair all three but that took until March 30th. So we were a full month without the camper. Then on Friday, April 1st you call me and tell me that the awning was damaged while moving it around your facility and it will take another 5 weeks at the earliest to get our unit. This now impinges on our planned inaugural camping trip with the Winnebago. This experience has been terrible so far. Your service team doesn’t answer calls and doesn’t return messages; not what I expected from a company the size of General RV.

We purchased a "new" Winnebago Voyage Fifth Wheel (3134RL) in late June 2021. From day one there were many problems (auto leveling system not working, electric water heater not working, interior trim pealing, main TV not working, recliner springs fell apart, broken electrical outlets, master bedroom slide roof seal leaking, the list goes on and on. About 60 days from delivery we noticed water dripping from around the pin box. Long story short....the "new" Fifth Wheel has been at the dealership 6 months (180 plus days). The entire panel under the front of the unit has been removed and replaced (with a defective panel) so it will now need to be removed a second time and another attempt will be made to replace it. After 6 months in repair (could take another several months to get another panel to the dealer) we have been given no estimate of when the repair will be completed. Our RV (we were able to use for 6 weeks) is now a year old, warranty is nearly expired and has been apart/together and will need to come apart at least one more time.....not to mention the costs we have incurred while we have been without the FW. We are retired and have owned several other brands throughout the years (very few minor issues). All of the defects in this FW can be attributed to cheap materials, poor workmanship and non-existent QC. Hopefully our experience will convince others to avoid any Winnebago product.

Me, my wife and my daughter began looking at campers about 2 years before the purchase. We had dreams of by two campers and traveling together. My daughter was murdered in December of which we have still not received justice. To help us to continue this dream we all had we decided to purchase a camper in April 2021. We had isolated to a couple but after reading reviews switched to the Winnebago brand. We bought and rigged a super duty to pull this camper, 20,000.00 out of pocket plus note. Camper down payment and additional items, another $ 20,000.00 plus note. Ripped down a fence, added to my drive and built a cover, another $10,000.00. Add to that notes and insurance every month. Turns out after all this our dream has been a nightmare. The camper is very well made but the QC before delivery terrible. Without going into every aspect will give you some of the problems. Camper was flushed but not dewinterized. Valves to heater shut and access to heater nailed shut from the inside. No access and no labels. In fact there is no real manual and not a single item labeled. I had to knock out the panel, open valves, add framework, but down and reinstall panel. Electrical problems galore, lights would flash, AC malfunction, Thermostats change and malfunction, refrigerator error and malfunction, surge protector error and on top of that the solar system also malfunctioned so electric jack would not work unless hooked to power or jumped off. Panels popped loose on storage, under bed, and on trim. Half the usb did not work, seemed like wireless and its feeds. Main slide leaked and caused water damage, table would not lock in place either. Slides also malfunctioned which was probably due to electrical. I did video and take pics of most of this. I brought to dealer in August and hoped for a quick resolution. They have been slow and laxadazical. Service Manager has never returned a call and rarely respond to emails. When he does he acts like he has answered your question which he never does. I have at least 20 emails since starting as I got Winnebago involved due to time. The final part to fix was shipped Tuesday but despite multiple attempts and letting them know I have a trip planned to see my son over Thanksgiving and will need my trailer or it’s replacement by that time their effort has been disappointing. As you can guess this has not been the dream we had. We have been in one trip and could only keep power for 8-10 hours before electrical problems so killed power by second day once we got up. So 7 months, over 60,000.00 out of pocket, let’s of work, and not one good camping trip.
