Winnebago 40FD Class A - Diesel reviews

this is my third class A RV , and the best one I have owned since i Started in 2004. it drive down the highway like a smooth driving car ,not affected the by crosswinds and passing tractor trailer like I experience with my First RV, The only issue I have is with the engine temperature gauge always seems to register like its overheating , But when I switch over to the digital temperature reading it stays within the normal temperature range , my mechanic informed me the newer diesel engine run at a higher temperature range that the previous model which I owned. I have also experience water leaking into the coach on rainy days thru the slide lockout mechanism, which has a drain hose which gets clogged from time to time, but that can be corrected by passing some tobacco pipe cleaner thru the drain outlet. overall my experience with this good has be good Show less

The Winn Tour has been dependable and enjoyable. The diesel engine is great at towing. The inside furnishings have remained in good condition. The A/C is still working good after all these years. Never had any problem with the engine and other components of the chassis. Show less

Motor home is very liviable, and over All quality is very good. Excellent driving and towing capabilities. The 400 hp engine really adds to the performance. I am selling only because of my health, I love this coach! Show less

We have lived in this RV for 2 years, it is very spacious with lots of storage for just about everything you need, all the amenities of a Fine Home. I found driving it was a Great experience, it handles very well, you’ve got a full 180 Degree view of the road and surroundings ahead of you, I did install 2 Led flood lights to my back up lights which made it way better when backing up was needed or just attaching or taking off your second vehicle. We travelled all over the southern US even on some narrow and winding high mountain roads....No Problem Show less

We purchased our Vectra one owner, 30K and loaded with every option available. We love it. We had it out for 5 months the first time we took it out. We we comfortable and enjoyed every minute we are in her. We have the large picture windows on one of the glides and it makes all the difference in the world with the overall comfort of the couch. Thanks LazyDays Tucson for having her on your lot when we decided to upgrade. There will be no trade off for us. This is our forever other home with multiple adjustable views to fit our whims. Drives and rides better than any coach we have tried. Very comfortable and liveable. With rear view and side cameras it is so easy to see traffic and view the tow vehicle. This coach has not had any problems and we have been on hot and cold adventures. The heat and ac work very well. The opposing sofas and 4 TVs provide very comfortable lounging while watching TV. The curved dinette with oblong table make it nice for playing games and entertaining guests for meals. Lots of storage and would make an excellent coach for full timers. King size sleep night number bed is so comfortable. Pass thru bathroom makes easy access to/from bedroom to kitchen & living area. Take off on your next adventure with peace of mind with new tires and batteries. We especially enjoy the outdoor entertainment center. With wind sensor awnings no worries about leaving awnings up.
