The Winnebago Solis is everything you'd want to have in a camper van. On the road, it's super convenient to be able to get to food and beverages. There's plenty of room for all passengers, and comfortable seats. The table by the bench seat offers a nice workspace for getting work done on the way to a destination. There's plenty of storage for clothes, food, and things for cooking. It has been comfortable when sleeping in cold states (Montana) and hot states (Florida) and everywhere in between.

The Pocket is a fun little van that my husband and l loved traveling in. It has everything you need to camp and travel comfortably. The refrigerator runs great on solar or shore power. The front seats both turn to add more flexibility to the living area. The screen on the sliding door and back doors allow you to keep the doors open and the bugs out. We traveled for three weeks and only used the solar to power the refrigerator, charge our phones and laptops and run my husband’s cpap machine at night with no issues at all. The remote control makes it easy to turn the ceiling fan off and on. The window covers allow you to have as much privacy as you like with the ease of a zipper. The storage under the bed allowed us to bring along chairs and an outdoor shade tent and a large bin for clothes and food. It is so easy to drive and it parks just like a car.

We had this Winnebago Solis for just about a year when we found the gasket around the pop-top coming off. When we looked at the roof more closely we also found holes and gaps in the rubber coating to protect cables for the sun roof. We found all of this in July of 2022. Since then, our dealer (who's been great) has not been able to get the parts to replace the roof gasket or rubber coating and we learned from them that 39 other Solis vans they've sold or have on their lot have the same problem or worse. Winnebago has not been helpful in finding an alternative or solution to this problem. In the interim, we cannot use the upper bed and likely more damage will incur to parts of the top. Lastly, though we love the van overall, a flaw in all the class B Winnebago vans is that the water hose connection is inside the back door. Meaning, if you want to be on city water you have to leave the door open. Whoever thought of this design hasn't camped much where there are hookups.
