We purchased our Winnebago brand new in 2022. Unfortunately, we have had problems from day1. Within a month, our fridge quit working. It was fixed under warranty but we were without a fridge for a year. Immediately, our window blinds began falling apart. Over the past three years, almost every blind has broken. Two summers ago, the A/C quit working. It was not covered under warranty. We purchased a portable A/C and continue to use it. We received a quote of $4000.00 to repair it. We then noticed that one of the windows was leaking a great deal when it rained. We hired a carpenter who attempted to fix the window, but it still continues to leak. Our RV is permanently parked in a campground. We don’t move it. My husband and I are retired have taken good care of it. Presently, it isn’t enjoyable spending time in it; there is so much wrong with it. It has been so disappointing. We would sell it but there’s so much wrong with it that we wouldn’t get much money for it. We would never purchase another Winnebago.

We just got it home and started to prepare it for a break-in trip. I put the awning out overnight to dry out. About 8:15 to 8:30 the next morning I noticed the wind was picking up so I started to go outside to retract the awning and it blew apart before I was able to. (So much for the wind sensor.) The wind wasn't as strong as it would become later but the unsupported design couldn't take even a general gust. What wind there was at the time was coming from the other side of the unit from where the awning was located. We also had problems with the retractable step not functioning, so we spent $1,750 having emergency service get the motorhome roadworthy, On Nov 5th we got it to the dealer. Finally today, Dec 17th, we were told by the dealer that WGO WAS NOT GOING TO HONOR WARRANTY. So I guess we will have to take further action against WGO to make them honor their obvious warranty. I cannot let something as egregious as this happen without consequence. I had always thought WGO was one of the higher quality builders, but I guess I was very wrong. I do not recommend anything from WGO now that I know how they behave.

After traveling in my Winnebago Voyage 3235 RL for 4 months, I can confidently say I would recommend any of my friends against Winnebago. In the few short months I've owned the unit: - The slides are already rusted as is the rest of the metal exposed underneath. - Boards are separating from the kitchen island. - Both slide outs have leaked, and the ceilings above and walls around are now rippled from the water damage. - Kitchen sink leaked. - Shower leaked from around the unsealed door as well as the drain. - There are nails that completely missed the boards they're supposed to hold. - Floor flexes uncomfortably near the rear when walking across it. - Screws have fallen out of the trash can. - Shower wall isn't fitted properly and bulges out. - Wall above the bed isn't sealed and has a gap across it. - Tension pole to help lift the bed is broken. - The handle to empty one of the gray tanks has bent and broken. - Electric fireplace heater is making a loud whining noise when turned on - The fridge randomly stops working with an E3 error that also randomly stops, sometimes in a couple minutes, sometimes in a couple hours - The battery had to be replaced My one request for help from the dealer went unanswered, and Winnebago has no interest in working with me aside from telling me to go back to the dealer. Poor quality and poor customer service all the way around

Below is a copy of my latest email to Winnebago. I bought a brand new bus that had manufacturing defects which led to severe water damage. We have decided the situation with this motorhome is beyond unacceptable. This is more than warranty work. It's not like this is our camper that we have been using and something went wrong. It is brand new. I have never used it. We purchased it new on April 24th knowing that there was a minor repair that we were told would be completed in less than a week. Here we are almost a month later and nobody even knows what's going on. These are the facts though. The whole passenger side front end of the bus is water damaged to the point that all the Luan is rotten. With mold and mushrooms growing out of the wall. The seals on the roof were not installed / applied correctly by Winnebago during manufacturing. The joint where the roof meets the sidewall in the area of the leak was not properly mated and sealed. These manufacturing defects caused serious water damage. I also picked up high moisture levels on all the walls by both slide outs. I'm waiting for general RV to peel that wall paper back to confirm water damage there too. There was no putty tape or silicone sealant on any of those joints so I expect the moisture reading to be correct and all that paneling to be water damaged also. I sealed them to mitigate further damage, but I suspect the damage has been done already. The coach is so waterlogged that I found mold and even mushrooms growing on the wall. I have photos of this disgusting problem. I'd like you to know that I'm not some wealthy person that can just blow this off. This purchase is a huge financial burden and was purchased as a living situation. I just retired after 24 years in the military and this was the next chapter in life. It has turned into a disaster. This is a brand new coach. I have never used it. It is rotten from water damage caused by manufacturing defects and lack of quality control. I paid for a brand-new coach, not this rotten POS. We want Winnebago to either, buy this bus back, replace it with a new undamaged unit like we paid for, or arrange for General RV to take this bus back and get us our old RV back and somehow fix the financial parts of this. Also, I would be surprised if nobody at General RV knew about this. I need to know right now if Winnebago is going to work with me or against me to get this resolved. I'm not okay with driving this 1600 miles back to the factory then waiting weeks or months for repairs then driving 1600 miles back. I bought a brand new camper. haven't used it, and this isn't a new camper issue or resolution.

My brand new 2024 View 24V was purchased on Sept. 7th, 2023. It has been at the dealer, Crowley RV for repair since September 13th, 2023. It is now October 23rd and I was just informed water is still leaking into the vehicle. The leveling system has malfunctioned with me and with those trying to seek out a reason why this is happening. The fact that it has not happened in a week means nothing because nobody can get to the bottom of why it happened in the first place. I am only grateful when the brake failed I required a tow to Mercedes. Thank goodness their service director has integrity enough to be honest. Told me they sold me a lemon. I want you..Winnebago to buy back this vehicle. I hate that I am going to have to get legal help to deal with your dishonesty, lack of integrity and the absolute fraud involved in the sale of this vehicle. I am ready to file complaint for consumer fraud. I will also share my experience relentlessly on any public forum conceivable. Your politics and handling of this is despicable. Buy back this vehicle and stop robbing of my time and money!

This is my second Winnebago RV and there is something seriously wrong in the manufacturing department of Winnebago My first RV class C Winnebago model H was a 2007 and worked like a charm for 12 years. I enjoyed it so much I decided to sell it and buy another with the bed in the back model J 2019 Winnebago Navion. I took it in for the MVI, motor vehicle inspection last week and they could not pass it as the bottom is rusted out so bad that they told me the outside compartment are in danger of falling down. It is 4 year old with 44,000. miles In the last 5 months I have replaced the water pump, The mother board in the generator, the invertor , the converter, the Microwave and have lost the top trim known as the shark fin off the top. I also have to disconnect the engine battery under the dash if I am parked for more them 4 hours as there is something in the radio component draining the battery. I have contacted Winnebago and they told me the rust issue is not under warranty as it is from salt on the road and there is nothing they can do.
