They are covered with some kind of a cheap film. Quality wise a poorly build trailer. Should have bought a Canadian made camper. DON'T BUY WINNEBAGO

We took delivery of this the day I retired on March 31 of 2023. We were not able to camp due to a late spring until Memorial Day weekend. One cannot begin to describe the frustrations we've had with this unit - and I talked my wife into it based on what historically had been Winnebago quality and reputation. The welds on the spare tire carrier were failing, so that was recalled. We had the spare in the back of the truck for weeks. The back-splash behind the sink was cut too big around the window and the adhesive loosened up when it got warm and it bubbled away and off the wall. The cheap metal T-pin on the fridge (a rod with rubber caps to 'hold' the doors in place) rattled apart and the contents of the fridge fell out and broke all over the floor. The non-propane DC fridge and 200-watt solar panel fried the 12v battery within the first 17 hours of the three-day weekend. The shower wall assembly wasn't caulked and had a 1/4" gap along the back wall and leaked all over the floor. We had almost no water pressure at the kitchen sink; I tore out the panel where the water pump was and found the hose was installed with a twist/kink in it, preventing water flow. On a trip to the U.P. on a washboard-gravel road, when we got to the campsite, there was sawdust all over along the baseboards, countertops, etc. Apparently sweeping/vacuuming sawdust during the construction process is not a thing any longer An interior trim piece on the slide out fell off. The relays for the DC wiring failed and we had to cut our Independence Day camping trip short due to having no lights, no fridge, no nothing. The solar will NOT keep up with the GE model DC fridge, so you cannot do any rustic camping. The dealership said, "Well, you have to park in the sun for it to keep up." I replied, "Right. Then it heats up to 95 degrees inside the camper, and I have to get my generator out anyway to run the A/C to be able to sleep in it." The integrated window blind in the entrance door fell apart and the accordion folds fell to the bottom - no more privacy. More recently (March of this year), the Lippert slide failed to extend while we were camping in Lakeland, FL. Took me two days to trouble-shoot that; I finally overrode it with jumper wires at the control module buried under the dinette slide. (You can't get into the fridge with the slide in.) We've had it just two years and nearly EVERY trip we've taken, something else falls apart. Admittedly, some of it is the fault of the component manufacturers - Lippert (slide), GE (fridge) Go-Power (Solar) and whomever manufactured the spare tire carrier, etc. Winnebago has been kind of like, 'whatever' about my complaints. Our dealership is reasonably good, but I'm a do-it-yourself type and when camped in a remote campsite in the middle of nowhere, I've chosen to address many things on-the-spot rather than ruin our trips hauling it to a dealership or whatever. We're currently looking at other new RV's, but are missing the days of our nearly bullet-proof 1985 Nomad 5th wheel we'd had for 20+ years.

Travel trailer and a Tiffin Allegro Breeze class A motorhome. Hands down, this thing was ready to go when it rolled off the assembly line. One nut fell off the towel bar one the stovetop and that's the only thing in 6000+ miles I've had go wrong. Hope this luck continues.

I bought this unit to live in full time, I've had a few issues. 1st, the Dometic 310 toilet would not hold water in the bowl. Turns out the seal would not fit properly due to a manufacturing flaw. 2nd, the water bypass valve has a leak. Since I'm on the road (Washington State), and not in Utah. I had to take it to an authorized Winnebago dealer. It's called Awesome RV, in Chehalis WA. They have been great, my only issue is Winnebago. They authorized the work (all warranty of course), but will not allow the dealers to purchase parts in their local area. Winnebago has to ship the parts themselves, and that's where the problem begins. The toilet, and the bypass valve are available right here in Washington. It took almost 3 weeks for them to ship these items. The valve came it with the wrong fittings, the dealer is now looking locally to find fittings. The toilet is yet to show up. All the while, I'm scrambling to find affordable housing until it's ready. My overall thought is this, my trailer seems to be built pretty good, there seems to be issues with some the parts they install. Awesome RV has been great to work with. I think Winnebago needs to address issues on their end. Allow the dealers to get the owners unit repaired and back onthe road. It would save me a lot of time and money. I wasn't planning to be in Washington as the rainy season begins. I like to be south where it's warmer. And dry.

We purchased this unit brand new. We were looking at other models but we thought Winnebago had a much better quality so we paid almost $5,000 more thinking that we were going to get a better unit. A soft spot in the floor developed. So I researched it and found that that model between 2015 in 2019 had that issue. We brought our unit to a Winnebago dealer. They looked at the issue and said it was not from water leaking in. When we asked Winnebago what they could do for it they told us nothing. It is clearly a defect in the way it was built. They have fixed others on a good faith repair who were original owners. They said the warranty had lapsed. Now we're stuck with a $4,000 repair bill. When I called Winnebago to talk about it they brushed me off. They were going to always get back to me after each phone call and never did. Marquardt RV in Oregon Wisconsin lookrf the unit over and did their best to get Winnebago to fix the issue. Markquart RV was excellent to work with. This will be the last Winnebago we ever buy.

We found several Winnebago’s for sale by owner and at Dealerships. After some thought and talking to salespeople Joseph and John at McClains in Sanger Tx, we felt comfortable with them and the dealership. After looking at several RVs we decided on an almost new Winnebago. Joseph helped us with purchase, Sebastian did our walkthrough and he was amazing to work with. Actually all involved from showing us, walkthrough, and taking care of sale was a good experience for us. We would highly recommend McClains RV at Sanger Texas.

Day 2 of use, major slide failure, column dislodged. Bunk wall separated from exterior wall, a list of other items fell apart. Winnebago service center butchered slide repair cut seals and improperly rehung seals, wires hanging out on both sides. Plus didn’t fix bunk wall. Brought to service center 2 for further repairs. So far we have 16 hours of drive time for service and 4 months in for repairs. Winnebago has made everything difficult and has no accountability for its service centers. Don’t recommend!

This trailer is the perfect lightweight, and easy to tow couples travel trailer. The large solar unit, insulation, and heated tanks allows for boon docking. Love the off road wheels with a double axle which gave me great control through blizzard conditions. Initially there were issues with the Schwintek Slide; however, Winnebago was excellent in communication, and responded with a complete rebuild that Schwintek and Winnebago worked out, and I’ve had no other issues.

Winnebago Micro Minnie 2100BH. First let me say after looking for over 7 months to decide what to buy, this was my reasoning. I have a 2019 Ford Ranger so I was looking for something under 23 ft and less than 4100 lbs dry weight, and could sleep 5 in a pinch and have a slide. The bonus of standard equipment was the dual axle’s and it comes winterized and has solar power to keep the battery charged. This was another feature that was a most. Azdel Onboard Composite Backing Here are some of the benefits of having an RV made with this material: Half the weight of lauan; which leads to improved fuel efficiency Will not grow mold or mildew and will not rot!! Reduces the chances of delamination Better insulation and sound barrier . My budget was under 25K!! After 3 Camper shows and 5 visits to RV dealerships and months of reading RV magazines and internet resources and research, I am more then happy with my decision. As for problems I have nothing major And little things I fix myself. This is nothing critical for folks that have problems, maybe everyone at the factory that day was in a good mood when they built my camper. So time will tell and so far so Good!!
