We purchase in Ashland, VA. Dealership had the RV driven down from the factory. We had a two hour class on the operation and everything was set up on our arrival. We're fine with our RV. During our 2 year warranty plan, the biggest issue was the passenger window got sticky and it was immediately replaced. I would say, if you are not RV Savey, take or request the technicians to give you a class before you leave. New stuff is exciting, but unless you know how to use it, it can be a bummer.

Unfortunately, I can't say too many good things about this RV other than we're happy with the floor plan we chose. That's about it. It seriously lacks in quality, reliability, usability, and its customer service. We've owned the RV for 18 months and have not had even ONE day that everything worked as it was supposed to. Not ONE. Initial problems were with the wiring. There were pinched/cut wires when the coach was assembled to the chassis that caused its inspection to fail because clearance lights had a direct short in the circuit. There were 5 circuits that didn't even have a fuse installed in them. There were mis-wiring in the van that led to other systems not working. The lithium ion battery system is such a poor design that it doesn't even come close to maintaining the battery charge when ANYTHING is turned on, like the fridge. Even when the main power switch is OFF, the inverter OFF, the fridge OFF, there is still a constant discharge on the battery of -0.6 to -1.7 amps! Even though the Thor owner resource pages state that you can maintain the battery over the winter by running the engine once a month, the battery is completely discharged within a week. And once it gets below 3%, the system shuts down and won't charge at all until you plug into shore power. (Who the hell designed this stupid system???) Less than a year into ownership, the alternator for the coach battery stopped working completely, so we've been unable to use the van at all since it's kinda important to have a working fridge when you're traveling. After waiting a month for a new alternator to arrive and get installed, there is still NO difference and the coach battery still won't charge from the engine. Customer Service? NONE. I've contacted them multiple times about the issues we're having. They responded to one message after 3 weeks, but gave such a stupid, useless response that completely missed the whole point. When I asked for clarification, they completely ignored me and haven't replied in over a year. Even when I contacted them about these new issues, they still haven't bothered to reply to me and it's been another 3 weeks of silence from them. What a frikkin' joke. The documentation and videos on the owners resource site don't match with our van. The schematics have errors in them and many of the guides don't really apply to our version of coach. In a nutshell, I'd say to stay away from this horrible version of RV and Thor in general. They clearly just slap these things together whether they believe it will actually work or not. I believe they already know about the terrible design and reliability issues they have - especially with the stupid Li-ion battery systems - that they don't even respond to their customers when they have related problems. This first RV experience for my wife and I has been a complete nightmare. I wish I had never heard of Thor. I wish we had never even looked at a Thor RV. Now it's nothing more than a money pit whose value has fallen a lot since we purchased. I mean, you have to question the sanity of a company who integrates a storage holder for the black/gray tank hose that FITS NO KNOWN HOSE ON THE PLANET. Oh - the RV does have a roof rack on it that is completely unusable because it's mounted across the solar panels! Not only would you block the light from reaching them, but any weight on them would cause them to break. Another innovation from our friends at Thor. Run, don't walk from this company.

DO NOT BUY FROM LAZY DAYS RV OR THOR MOTOR COACH. I bought a Thor Tellaro brand new under year ago from LazyDays in Denver. We were told it was a reliable model and it was perfect for our goals to live more off grid. With three ways to charge, via the alternator, solar and shore powers we wouldn’t have to worry about staying charged wherever we are. We bought in November after selling our house with goals to leave the state but due to family complications we had to stay. By January the solar had stopped working and multiple thing had come unseated from walls/brackets. Made service appointment in the first week of February told we had to wait till June to bring it in. After our appointment was moved without our knowledge to the end of June we brought the van in and they kept it for 3 weeks. In those 3 weeks they parked my van and that was it. No one looked at, no one submitted any warranty or part orders, nothing was fixed. No calls were made to notify me the work was not going to be done or that they no time for my van. Called Mark Rogers the GM about this issue and all he could offer was a sorry and that his service department would be better in a month. Since then our alternator that Thor installed has gone bad and possibly damaged our batteries. Thors explained to us that these RVs are hand assembled and sometimes stuff gets assembled wrong that’s why there’s a warranty. This van is under a year old ,payed almost 120k, and has been on one trip. Went all the way up to Loveland to express my frustration I’ve had with this product and their service directly to the GM again. Waited an hour to see mark who seemed more burdened then concerned with my issues. His way of solving this was making me a service appointment for the end of September or trading my van in for a van that 60k more expensive. He explained to me that my expectations of the RV industry are to high. If you paid 120k for a product you would expect it to last more then a year right? We are now stuck here in colorado with our plans going up in smoke, living in a product that barely works, with a month out till they look at and maybe months without our van till it’s fixed. Lazy Days does not truly care about its customer, it is more interested in turning a profit.

The unit is reported to have had the Onan generator removed to provide a MORE EFFICIENT and clean air replacement; an under hood generator with solar batteries. Poor design. and does not live up the the advertised specs! Unit is said to be BOONDOCK capable. It is not! When the batteries run out after 2 hours of use, the underhood generator is NOT capable of charging the batteries; no A/C, no refrigerator, no microwave...NOTHING! Unit has been at Camping World longer than I have owned the unit. Techs are not trained well enough to work on this computer based system. The unit itself is over priced and should be taken off the market due to poor quality and inability to live up to the advertising provided by Thor! Unless you plan to stay at campgrounds every night, pass the Tellerrro, with the under hood generator bye! They have replaced three of them in my unit! Factory support is super, but they cant fix a poor quality vehicle. Only buy one with an Onan generator!

Two holes serving no purpose drilled/screw through our roof during factory assembly! 2023 Tellero 20A. During our travels, we experienced a heavy rain storm and discovered a significant amount of water leaking in from the rear, driver side and also on the front, passenger side of the van. The water leaks caused damage to our aftermarket mattress, headliner and window valance. After the storm, I climbed up on the roof to see if I could locate the source. I found a hole, most likely caused by a screw that pierced the roof. Factory worker evidently missed the mark when installing perhaps the cabinets. Once I was able to get it into the dealership, the tech found another, MUCH LARGER one inch hole SERVING NO PURPOSE under the Air Conditioner. Also found the skylight was not sealed correctly and that was the most likely cause of the leak up front. Thor WILL NOT cover our mattress as it is an aftermarket mattress and they do not cover these items. After working with two Thor customer reps explaining this goes beyond warranty and into Thors negligence on disclosing these holes in the roof of my 2022 Ram, holes serving no purpose whatsoever only allowing water intrusion, they will only cover the repair work of the holes, and not the contents. Once I return from our trip, I will litigate this. Thor needs to be held accountable and do the right thing for customers paying a significant amount of money for their product. Had I known of these holes existed prior to purchase, I would have never purchased this van. Who would? So other than the contents that were destroyed by water damage, I am also pursuing compensation for the entire van. Our NEW van has to go into the body shop for patch panels now. The past 8 months of ownership have been very frustrating. Problems with the BMPro not wired correctly, shower wall panel with gap large enough to allow water intrusion into the cassette area, rear ceiling light falling out of socket, floor bubbling, roof liner sagging, screws falling out of particle board panels. Yes, I understand RV’s have these sort of problems. Been RV’ing for 32 years. But holes drilled in the roof serving no purpose! (An OOOPS) HOLES! Potential buyers, bring all your inspection tools to the PDI and go over your potential purchase with a fine tooth comb. I mean underneath, top, exterior, interior. DO NOT MISS ANYTHING. Pull drawers, look behind, up, down, all around. If you see holes serving no purpose or anything major, RUN! No photo description available. See details Edit post

I have owned my brand new 2022 Tellaro for just over a month and I'm bringing it to the shop for the second time tomorrow. Here are some of the issues I've had in just two trips in one month: The morning after I drove it home the batteries for the coach died so I had to bring it back. I left it exactly as they told me to store it and haven't gotten a good explanation of what happened. I'm still having other electrical issues such as the Balmar guage not working, underpowered USB ports, and another USB port that fell right into the couch frame. I tried operating the water pump yesterday for the first time only to discover a litany of leaks from the faulty plumbing. The twin beds that are supposed to convert into a full bed is an accident waiting to happen. The crossbars only rest in metal slots and slip out very easily. Any pressure on the edge of the tables will cause it to flip over and make you fall through the bed. You will have to constantly unscrew the couch frame to access the mechanicals. You'll find shoddy carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing. They don't even bother cleaning up the construction debris from when they put it together. Customer service is useless. They'll ask you to try the most obvious troubleshooting you likely already tried and then pawn you off on the component maker or the dealer. So disappointed in this vehicle.

Everything from broken toilet, sliding door, the awning twice, flooring coming up, USB port, etc., etc., etc. I get little to no help from Thor. Thor blames my service dealer, the service dealer blames the vendor, the vendor blames Thor. No one wants to take responsibility and just get it done. Two of the issues keep me from camping in it. I’ve had it out a total of six nights in six months. And each time I return I have two or three items that need to be fixed. Wish I had never bought it. Hopefully this Helps others to find another brand.

Thor Industry' lack of quality control is appalling. We bought our 2020 Tellaro two months ago, and the list of defects/flaws is 13 long and growing. On our first big trip, the grey water hose compartment, secured with a super cheap latch, opened, tearing off the hose and the door. Then...when we reached our destination, the BD Pro console and entire electrical system and failed, leaving us to live in a VERY expensive tent for 5 days. Fortunately I'd brought along a camping cooktop, a grill, and two coolers! We bathed in lakes. So, gang, For $100,00 this is what we got on delivery: --no heat or stove. Turns out gas connector to propane tank under camper weren't connected --BD control panel for turning on the furnace and hot water don't work. Looks like the the furnace has not been activated. --Seatbelts for the bench-seat aren' long enough for a medium size adults. --Kitchen drawers fly open when driving around corners. It appears they all need a better latch system --Bathroom wall buckled and unuseable. --Small Wall panel missing below bathroom. Found part, and figured out they couldn’t install it without removing the entire shower pan. --Dining table was misdrilled so it couldn’t open fully. Also, it’s a terrible design, could hurt someone who wasn't careful opening it --Ladder to pop-top is ¾” too long, creating serious safety hazard --Extendable bed frame was under-desgined and never tested under load. Broke off the first night we slept on it. Had to repair it so we could continue our trip. In the process, I discovered most all woodwork is put together with cheap (but fast fast fast!) staples. --Veneer is super cheap and hastily applied. -- on vinyl veneered bedroom wall, was 8.5”x11” piece of paper with equipment listing and serial numbers of all installed equipment. The adhesive was so strong, veneer peeled off when we tried to remove. ----Caulking by front door and other place is already cracking --Sawdust, loose nails, and chunks of sheet metal behind drawers & cabinets. Truly amateur assembly throughout and no evidence of quality control. Thor should be ashamed of themselves. When I was a teenager in the 60's, my dad bought a new Chrysler New Yorker. When he went to pick it up, he discovered the dashboard was missing! This was right before the Japanese auto industry ate our lunch for the next 20 years. Sure wish they made RV's
