Thor Motor Coach Four Winds 22E reviews

My brand new Thor Four Winds class C had a terrible leak the first rain The bunk, bunk cushions, wall and wood support were all damaged The compartment on the bunk next to the window was totally full of water. It was obvious where the leak was coming from because Thor did not seal around the top of the window. I cleaned it up as best I could. Took pictures of the damage. Brought to General RV They agreed and sealed the top around the window to prevent further damage. They submitted pictures and a request for materials to fix it from Thor. Thor refused the request and said they would only consider it if we removed the sealant General RV put on it and pour water from a garden hose further damaging it into the RV while taking a video. Love it. Handles well ,even my wife can park it. Maybe better than me. Very happy with the dealer, always there when needed. Highly recommend both RV and dealer . to use up 200 characters HAPPPY> HAPPY >HAPPY> HAPPY!!!!! Show less

Bought used with 10,000.00 miles. Chevy platform. You can get gas in it. Thor said its chevy's problem and chevy said its thor's. Reality is I guess it is now mine. As you look at the decor you are amazed. Till you open a draw. There is zero finish yes raw wood used as drawer boxes. How much crap is that going to absorb. Roof is starting to bubble. Motor homes take a tremendous amount of care.I do it myself. Every time I go to maintain something it makes me sick to see the lack of pride that went into building whatever I am fixing. For example the shower surround cut to the pan looks like it was hacked in with a chainsaw. Installed a spare tire hanger. I noticed lower panels just cut. No sealer no trim just fn raw. The whole side will delmanate if not attended to. I'm interested in a new Axis or Vegas but just can't trust the thor brand. I had confidence in the purchase. All the major rental companies use Thor. I thought for Quality. I was wrong. Cost is the reason. If you buy Thor Four Winds.Your going to have to hire someone to go through it and complete it. Everyone from sales to assembly to management should be ashamed to label this American made If this is American craftsmanship I am forever buying CHINA. Show less

I would not recommend, we bought ours brand new and for lack of a better word "lemon". The awning, AC, radio, backup camera, and exterior lights all stopped working before we hit 2500 miles. General quality of some trim and cabinetry work is extremely poor. One cabinet shelf over the sink won't even rest on the adjustable pegs because it is so off square. The entry door shock is bowing the bottom of our door out. Warranty is looking into it and the dealer has been decent so far but the diagnosis has been three months at least pull the dash and to fix all the wiring issues. All this and we have only owned it for 5 months, NEW off the lot. That being said, the redeeming qualities would definitely be the lay out which is great for the space. Also, before everything stopped working it was extremely user friendly. Hopefully our dealer and warranty continue to be decent, but I would feel bad for someone in our shoes with poor dealer and warranty support. Show less

Purchased November 2015. Had an immediate rear window leak. Now on a major trip have lost many hours to discover a bad power line routing which allowed it to swing against the exhaust eventually burning through and shorting out. Caused a loss of cabin power and inability to recharge and other problems. So, manufacturing quality a major problem. Show less

Poor quality interior furnishings. Terrible electrical locations. Great layout for it's size. Show less
