We were pleasantly surprised to have zero issues with the Thor Miramar 37.1 on a quite lengthy trip from Naples, FL to Nevada and Colorado with stops in Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana and many more. The floorpan and number of cabinets makes this an excellent family coach....hard to beat. Our daughter loves the bunks! The only disadvantage - nothing to do with Thor - is that the Ford gas engine simply does not provide the same downhill braking options like a Diesel Pusher. We drove the rig up to 11,000 feet with no issues but had to go slow (in very low gears) down. When working hard uphill, the engine also is a bit noisy, but not a major issue. Overall a lot of coach for the money and a great choice if you only do occasional mountain driving.

I just bought a brand new Delano and found that neither the factory or the dealer checked to see if the refrigerator worked. Calling Thor has extremely long wait times, blaming on pandemic, while most companies are working customer service from home. Through 3 calls they have given zero help. Last person ask why he thinks they can help me. Almost felt he was laughing at me, very condescending. Now dealing direct with refrigerator company and they are a little better. All the talk of factory support is BS.

Super nice looking RV inside and out...but then you own it...slides are poorly installed (multiple warranty work orders to repair) and weakly designed (smallest Lippert motors available), plumbing not connected properly throughout and fake stainless bowls rusting throughout, hydraulic lines blown in the first 30 miles of ownership...then there is the Firefly Integrations panel...buggy is an understatement...turning things on whenever it pleases (middle of the night AC and Heat on, slides activating on their own, batteries dead...you name it) and (in this day and age) NOT user customizable...meaning...you want to swap out the RTU to heat pumps...can't do it without them "costly factory reprogramming" it...or you adding manual controls...no longer INTEGRATED. You want Fantastic Fans installed...can't do it without separate/non integrated controls or costly factory reprogramming...You want to add heat strips to the existing RTUs (a known RTU manufacturer option with the pigtails already on the coach)...you can't do it without costly factory reprogramming or non-integrated controls...You want to add or change anything in the coach...they have to reprogram it...no Plug-n-Play...not even "tech friendly User" modification capable...absurd and VERY behind the times...Never reads the correct levels in the holding tanks (full or empty one minute...later in the day...the opposite)...Never reads the correct battery voltage (usually a full volt under the actual)...really a flashy bling-bling light switch controller.

We purchased our 2017 Thor Miramar on 5/3/2017 from Total RV located in Elkhart Indiana. We loved the layout of this Model and couldn't wait to start our camping trips. Our problems started before we got 50 feet from the dealer. Listed below are some of the problems we have experienced starting with the current problem:
We are currently sitting in Lebanon, Ohio campground with a slide that only retracted part way. We are over 200 miles from home and have been waiting for over 72 hours for someone who can help. We called Total RV, the dealer where we purchased the motorhome and told them what the problem was and what we tried so far and their response: Well, it sounds like you tried everything and don't know what you expect us to do.
We are currently waiting for permits to get it towed 76 miles to the closest service center that said they can look at it and try to help.
While we wait, I will list some of the things we had to get fixed since we purchased:
1. Before getting 50 ft. from Total RV we had to pull back in because windshield was leaking.
2. While traveling home, indoor wood trim around one slide fell off; an outside compartment came open while driving on interstate because lock was broken; hex nuts holding headlight in fell off making the headlight wobble and almost fall out; found another leak from bathroom fan because they originally put vent cover on crooked and had to reposition vent and then didn't fill in whole they originally made and the driver side mirror was not attached properly and almost fell off.
3. Entry door lock wouldn't work.
4. Inside window handle fell off.
5. Half a dozen screws or staples under laminate flooring started to pop thru.
6. Overspray of paint from back ladder found on body of coach and they clear coated over it.
7. Tried to access cable TV from campgrounds that offered it and could not get it to work. We purchased different cables thinking we bought one with a bad connector but still didn't. After reading some reviews we found that the Seiko brand TVs used in our coach don't work well with cable.
Very disappointed and we hope we get some kind of help from Thor.

Coach has been nothing but trouble since day one, roof paint was flaking off, bunk would come down while driving, storage area in rear bath would not stay shut, had to get dealership and the NTSB involved before they would fix it. Recently I had to have a third rail put in for the large slide, replace the motor, replace the fuel pump in generator, step control module and replace the exhaust pipe on generator and now I have a small water leak some close to water supply access
Now I am told the rig is only worth $80,000 on a trade, $40,000 less than what is owed on it. DO NOT BUY THOR
