I have traveled back and forth to Arizona and through Death Valley. There is not anything I would change. I am looking to down size since I am by myself and this is better equipped to serve a couple, or family.

We bought our motorhome used in a private sale. Meticulously maintained and kept both inside and out, we couldn’t be happier with our purchase. The layout is efficient yet comfortable and the appliances all work well as they hadn’t been used much. Upholstery on the benches and sofa as well as driver and passenger seats is in mint condition, and all cushions are firm and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and though it’s a bit of a challenge to make it up because it’s in the slide-out, I can use the standard queen bedding we use in our home. The bathroom is easy to use and clean and the shower is adequate with space to get clean. Love the retractable shower door, too, as well as the skylight over the shower space. The windows in the rig are numerous and large, letting in plenty of light and making for easy scenery viewing. Vents are also numerous with two of the four being covered by ventilated hoods to avoid rain getting in. The cabinetry is lovely and there’s lots of room for storage. Kitchenette is very efficient yet has a good amount of counter space with a two-piece cover for the large farm sink making it easy to get prep work done. On-demand hot water is wonderful though my husband replaced the water pump with one that has more oomph; the unit’s own pump couldn’t deliver consistently hot water without running cold every so often-not a pleasant surprise when in the shower! Convection microwave means I can serve freshly baked foods and the air conditioner is a big help for warm afternoons. Heater works great and keeps the nighttime chill at bay. Overall, a quality rig (original SRP 100K brand-new), bought at a nice price and one we plan to keep for the foreseeable future.

Like all RV owners we struggled for years emptying our black tank. We purchased all the tools to simplify the process. This is not an area easy to diagnose a problem but we finally did find the issue. The issue was an engineering flaw at the manufacturing level. when the black tank release handle was pulled, it did not completely open the valve and debris would get clogged and unable to empty. When we approached Thor it fell on deaf ears. They should have authorized a repair. They created the problem and should have fixed it. This is not warranty work. This is a design issue. To those of you who are considering an RV, avoid Thor.

This RV is our 4th. This model has the full length slide which makes the interior look like a Class A when it is out. It is short enough to qualify for most parks) Important for lots of National and St. Parks. The Quantum series is noted for its quality and good looks. This is our 2nd small Thor. We put over 50k miles on our 2003 with only minor issues. Basically, if a car fits in the parking space this RV will too. It Handle's very well. My wife is the sole driver. Gas milage poor at avg of 8mpg. It is a Ford so service avail all over U.S. and Canada. Plenty power for towing, even in mountains.

We have had trouble with the electrical system on this unit since we bought it. It has been in the shop more than it has been out camping. Every time we take it out, it has some other issue pop up. We are the second owner. The first owner only kept it long enough to drive it from Texas to Tennessee. That should have been our first warning not to buy it. But the coach is the perfect size for two people and the appearance of it, both inside and out, is spectacular! We should have had the remainder of the factory warranty as the coach was less than a year old but a Thor service rep told us the warranty was only for the original purchaser. After the one year warranty had expired, I called Thor again to check on recalls for electrical issues. She told me that we were entitled to the remainder of the factory warranty but since it had expired there was nothing they could do to help us. We have replaced house batteries twice and need to replace them again before we can take it out this year. We have replaced the regulator, the inverter, the Main on/off switch, fuses—-basically anything that had anything to do with the electrical system. And it is still draining the batteries, won’t charge them when we run the motor and/or generator. I would not recommend a Thor motor home to anyone!

Great looking RV. Merceds Sprinter part of it great, lots of power and reasonable mileage with the diesel, 14mpg. Did have some initial problems on the Thor part. Maiden trip the slider stuck out while camping remote in Yellowstone, no phone service and could not drive the RV. I have a troubleshooting background doing HVAC work and was able to find a bundle of wires that had been crushed and were shorting together opening a fuse. Service dept did fix the wiring but I am apprehensive every time I use the slider. I had to remove all the drawers to glue and staple the bottoms in as they were all falling out. The service dept would only re-staple, not a permanent repair. Never use the instant water heater as so much water is wasted before the heater goes through the start cycle and the time it takes the hot water to get to the faucet. Not good when you dry camping on a limited water supply. RVs I find in general have overall poor quality and attention to detail. A lot depends on who is doing the work that particular day on the assembly line. Probably making a poor wage with a poor attitude!

We chose the Thor Quantum RC25 because we rustic camp the majority of the time and wanted something smaller that would go into state forests easily. We upgraded from a 22 foot Nash trailer. We looked at various floor plans and storage capacity. Our 22ft trailer had immense storage in a small space and we found that most Class C's lacked storage. The Thor hit the ball out of the park as far as were concerned. The residential cabinets in the kitchen area with the two pantry's is welcome. The storage is outstanding for a small coach. We don't have enough seating in the coach as no couch or chair is available in this floor plan. I use a small camping chair for additional seating if needed. The bathroom is very small - much smaller than in my trailer, but it is functional. There are some oddities like the grab bar is not in a logical place and the water heater control is under the towel bar so you can't see it if you have a towel hanging. The toilet is crooked which drives me nuts, but I'm told it can't be fixed due to the aggravation of plumbing. All in all, it's workable. We had a ton of things that needed attention when we took delivery. I understand this is normal for most RV's. Didn't have that problem with our trailer when it came from the factory. Everything was perfect. To begin with, we couldn't pump gas into the coach without the gas pumps turning off. This was a major issue that took us a year to get straightened out. The vent in the cab was installed backwards. The wall next to the fridge bowed terribly, and there were screw and nail pops everywhere. The wallpaper, trim and paint were bad in some areas. The dinette top was scratched in multiple places. Working with General in Wixom was a horrible experience. Some of these issues were handled by them, most by my husband after they got the parts that were needed. We just stopped going to General for repairs. My last and most important comment is that Thor has more than impressed us with how they stand behind their product. We have contacted them directly for two repairs that we had done at a private service center and they paid both. Understand that these items should have been right to begin with, but Thor didn't make it difficult for us to get reimbursed. They were prompt and professional. Whenever I call their customer service, they are always willing to help even if we don't get resolution at that point in time. I wanted to write this review to say that although we have had our share of issues with the Quantum, Thor has been great to work with. I wanted to make sure I let people know this since writing a bad review is easier than writing a good one for most of us.
