2015 Winnebago View reviews

We downsized from a 45-foot 2008 Newmar Mountain Aire to the 24-foot Winnebago View-Profile. The primary advantage has been much lower operating costs and drivability. The View goes anywhere a van can go and parks anywhere a large pickup can. Towing a vehicle for use after setting up camp is entirely optional as the View can make that run to Walmart for supplies as easily as a car. Being a Class C, we are able to take our furry friends along just as we did in the Mountain Aire, which was our primary reason for not trying out a towable RV. Being a V6 diesel fuel engine, the View has good low end towing power and great gas mileage. It goes down the road quit well. While we miss the space in our Mountain Aire and the convenience of the things we carried for a second home, the move to a Class C so my wife could drive was worth the change. Show less

This used but well cared for by owner has had self leveling added and was not available from factory(HWH computerized).It also came with factory cab shading for the entire front windows. Protective paint coating so paint because of storage covered is as new.All factory equipment is functioning as new with service and all recalls completed.Turbo diesel easily starts and drives with DEF tank easily filled. Loss of power issue has not been diagnosed and solved despite 12 days (so far) in Sprinter shop over two year period. Mercedes “customer care” will not help us with out of pocket expenses due to trip interruption in spite of their inability to fix what they build. This is a serious safety issue, but that makes no difference to them. These vehicles are over-engineered, with 40 computers (they said), providing abundant opportunities for failure. My biggest complaint is the total lack of empathy by MB. My advice is to avoid Benz products altogether unless you are willing to work on them yourself, and if so, good luck! Show less

This RV is an easy drive and in great condition RV. Everything works and we’ve had great weekends enjoying all the amenities. We live in North Florida. Two owners and no previous accidents. Sleeps 4. Has two queen beds. Lots of storage cabinets. Big automatic awning with LED lights. Diesel engine. Show less

The View is a great choice for 2 to 4 people. The ride is superb and the Mercedes diesel is barely broken in! We have a service B due soon but I will get it done soon. Selling it because we want to get into boating Show less

After owning all types of RV's through the years (32' class A, travel trailer, class B), my wife and I were looking for something easier to drive and get into camping areas without sacrificing too much livability. After extensively researching, examining and test driving all the options, we decided this was the best coach for us (2 people and a dog). Winnebago made a huge change with their 2015 and newer coaches of this model that make it truly exceptional. We've owned it for 3 years and it has been everything we hoped for! Show less
