This unit was a nightmare to start with. Lots of issues with the slide blowing fuses. Dealership was unable to figure out why but I did. It was adjusted wrong and dragging hard on one side. It is also cleverly designed to lock you out of the bedroom when it is in. Can you guess where the fuse box is. Yup, in the bedroom. Other issues were warping doors on the outside. Also the easy to change water filter is practically impossible to change due to being so deep into the compartment that you need 8 foot long arms. Have to take apart panels in the bathroom to get to it. Also the area if filled with sharp metal shaving and wood splinters. Just a lack of pride in workmanship. Show less

I just got my 2026 campsite elite 36ak. Beautiful trailer 5th wheel with a list of problems that everyone should run away from. Don't waste your money! 118000 worth of problems. Here is a partial list can provide pictures and emails to prove. Windows leak snow and cold, floor repai done bad, fridge bracket does not fit so can lock when in travel, toilet wobble, frost comes through the walls not proper insulation, snow drifts on the floor, windows trim to hold them in was falling off, ac heat strips not there as was part of the deal, furnace not working proper , snow comes through the windows, power running through the pull out to me.a big fire hazard,seal not proper around pull outs and the list keeps going. We bought this at the Calgary rv show where the reps from forest river and rangelad told us how good of a fit this would be for us seniors. How warm it would be for us . We were there to get a good rv fit as a.fire destroyed our rv so with insurance we needed a new one . they knew of our predicament and just wanted a sale full of lies and miss representing it. They have our money. That is all that matters to them. Shame on.all of them and the ones who build these need to put a bit of effort into their products. A beautiful trailer that is worthless! This has been the camper from he!!. We had it in for many stupid repairs that the manufacture could have done quality control. Screws sticking out, heater vent disconnected, under drawer dinette seating is horrible wood, The "camp king" bed is 72 x 66! That is not a king size bed. Try getting sheets for this! Openings that mice got in at. The entry door has been a nightmare. We couldn't close the door no matter how level the trailer was. We have to now get that replaced. The bathroom sink pipe is cracked, can't just replace they glued it all. The water filter is in a very bad spot. Once you bring in the slide out you can't get to any other area in the camper. Storage is a challenge, it wasn't thought out at all. So unhappy with this camper. Show less

We used it for our first trip with a trailer. 6 months from Colorado to Portland Maine . And South to Florida. Stayed in 28 State parks. When we got a cancellation State park and Hoa’s in between. The Autumn Colors were somthing to see. And the Great U.S.A. We are so happy that we took that chance and did it. Learned so much and met so many great people. Really just a different experience of people than the day to day. Hectic people on the highway or the sidewalks. Some places where like your neighborhood. We stayed in a HOA in Fancy Gap Virginia. Families of Grandparents to great grandchildren stay every year for Halloween. So friendly and open to talk. I could go on and on. But we were very lucky. No time frame. No Appointments to keep. My husband and I are completely satisfied with this travel trailer! We love the layout! We have not had any trouble with it. It tracks great. The quality is perfect and exactly what we expected. The fireplace is great, as it heats the whole room. It’s our home away from home. Show less

This is the worst camper I have ever seen! It’s cheap workmanship and lousy quality! I will never purchase any Forest River product again! EVERY time we take it out we have to work on it!!!! From the heating to the plumbing and wood products like the drawers and shades. We have had to fix so many things. I feel like I need to take electric, wood, and plumbing supplies EVERY time I take this pice of crap out!!!!! I am now trying to sell it and get rid of it. It’s a LEMON of a product. Please don’t believe the hype of “Made by the Amish” if this is their quality they wouldn’t last a week living in this kind of camper! Run don’t walk away from any dealership that carries this CHEAP inferior product. I wish I had never ever purchased this money pit of a product. Show less

Spacious and well designed and laid out travel trailer, including a full size bathroom which is a rare yet greatly appreciated. The cabinet finish, kitchen sink, stove backsplash adds a modern touch. The amount is storage space allows you to organize anything you'd like to bring along for a trip before hitting the road and without having to unpack and reorganize once you've reached your destination. Makes for a fuss-free, enjoyable getaway. Lots of storage kitchen utensils, dishware, pots , pans, small appliances, bakeware, bath towels, toiletries, full kitchen pantry, "his and hers" closets, plus large under bed storage space and overhead cabinets. Small door next to bed can be utilized as a laundry shoot that's accessible from a separate exterior door. Interior and exterior speakers offer great sound with option to watch TV outside as well. This RV has been great and while the floor plan isn’t perfect it is a good layout. The only reason we moved on from ours is that our family is outgrowing it. The camper is light and very easy to pull. I noticed a big difference when we got the new longer one. I love our new one but miss the towablility of this model. Rockwood makes a high quality camper and you can tell it. This model has gear driven slides as opposed to cable which is very nice and reliable. Overall a great little camper. Show less

I bought my camper used approximately 8 years ago when it was 5 years old. We are happy with the layout of the camper and the quality of the cabinets, etc. We have had a couple issues that I am not sure if anyone else has experienced? 1). When we set up our camper we cannot perfectly level the camper while running the a/c without water dripping in the floor of the camper. If I slightly raise the side where the doors are (right side) the water will then run off the roof and down the gutter spouts. Not sure why it does this? 2) Last summer when driving home from a camping trip in late July the face of the radio fell out of the wall and was hanging by the wires. I had to just screw in back into the wall to hold it in place, but now the radio doesn’t work. 3). Carbon dioxide detector was chirping in non stop and so I had to cut the wires and put a movable carbon dioxide in the camper to be safe. Show less

This bunkhouse model is surprisingly livable for my wife, myself, and our dog. He has mad himself at home in the lower bunk. But the fit and finish of this unit leave a lot to be desired. Their audio system is supposed to be able to differentiate inside versus outside, but that does not work. The mattress quit after a week, and being a non-standard size, was difficult to replace (short-king 65”x72”). The drawers in the kitchen have pulled from their slides. Their Summit TV is not a smart TV, and is incompatible with some streaming applications if you happen to use an iPhone. You have to be certain to use a regulator with enough volume, or your showers with the tankless water heater will go cold often! And we’ve had intermittent alarm codes given from the water heater from shortly sherry seeing it up. Sooner of this may be due to it being new, but that seems odd. The deadbolt on the entry door is broken and needs replaced. And then there was manufacturing debris all over the unit. Metal shavings, saw dust, staples, and even the material from a hole saw. None of which were caught by the manufacturer or Camping World. Outside of these stresses, it has been a positive experience. I just don’t think I’ll go with Forest River going forward. Show less
