NEVER BUY A FOREST RIVER PRODUCT. The fifth wheel Has been nothing but an issue since we bought it. The quality control is non-existent from the factory. A seal on the main slide was missing from the factory-something a customer would never realize wasn’t there and missed by the dealership as well. The Rogue Vengeance developed a leak along the slide by the floor and then rotted the floor. Forest River claims it was our responsibility to do every 3 month maintenance and should have caught it. How would we catch it as the leak was under the vinyl and didn’t show up until the vinyl developed bubbles?! What a joke their products are-poorly built and what good did an extended warranty do us? They push that at customers when you buy and it’s a total waste of money. Junk junk junk products and awful customer service as well. They DON’T care about you after you sign your name-they only want your money. Totally disgusting company.

Very easy to pull, we pull either 2025 ford f350 srw without any issues. The living area is great for max 4 people otherwise it gets tight in living area. But can accommodate more. Master bedroom is great with full bath and connecting door. Garage is large and can hayle a Polaris pro r or Polaris xpedition. Bed in garage is excellent feature for guests. Bathroom in garage has a shower/toilet combined (small but functional). Kitchen is nice and functional. Self leveling system works great. 1 year of traveling to camp sights with full hookups and bun docking with zero issues. Generator is a little loud in bedroom but gives white noice for sleep. Very happy with the camper.

Model: 2024 Forest River Salem Cruise-Lite 28VBXL Pros: Family‑friendly floorplan with bunkhouse and king bed Good storage and outdoor kitchen setup Manageable towing weight Cons: Slide‑out malfunctions (multiple failures) Bed collapse and soft spots in flooring Microbial contamination concerns Six extended repair shop visits, leaving us with less than 15 days of use in over a year Warranty and Forest River communication dismissive and misleading Bottom line: The layout is appealing, but the execution has been a major disappointment. Reliability issues and lack of accountability have overshadowed the positives. We cannot recommend this model based on our experience.

This has been the camper from he!!. We had it in for many stupid repairs that the manufacture could have done quality control. Screws sticking out, heater vent disconnected, under drawer dinette seating is horrible wood, The "camp king" bed is 72 x 66! That is not a king size bed. Try getting sheets for this! Openings that mice got in at. The entry door has been a nightmare. We couldn't close the door no matter how level the trailer was. We have to now get that replaced. The bathroom sink pipe is cracked, can't just replace they glued it all. The water filter is in a very bad spot. Once you bring in the slide out you can't get to any other area in the camper. Storage is a challenge, it wasn't thought out at all. So unhappy with this camper.

This camper has been one problem after another. Factory installed slide topper too low and was collecting water and had to be replaced . First letter received stated that they couldn’t be out in the rain. So slide outs have to be retracted when it rains meaning you can’t use the rv. They did finally fix this after the dealership fought them on it and they put a metal strip over the holes on the side of the camper and again had to insist that this was unsatisfactory for a brand new rv. They finally fixed this after months of back and forth. During this time the fireplace would over heat and shut down causing a hot electrical smell. Took it back 3 times to get this looked at and after the 4th trip they replaced the fireplace. Seemed that an electrical fire was not a priority for them to fix. Rear and front jack lights don’t work, after it was taken to the dealer to fix. While having our tv for the winter the did fix the holes in the slide and when I picked up the rv in the spring the roof had leaked in a couple of different places and cause water damage in the roof. It was confirmed that it was faulty worn from the factory. We have missed a couple of trips and have lost deposits and non refundable camping sites. Because of the need to tow my rv during the winter months we are now seeing rust on the leveling arms also. We have tried to work with Forest River for months on getting this worked out and their answer is to ship our rv to Indiana this fall and replace the entire roof. Today we are experiencing more electrical issues of gfi outlets randomly tripping with nothing plugged into them. We asked to have the RV replaced serval times and Forest River will not entertain the conversation even though I have stated that the level of water damage is bound to cause future problems and that this is clearly an rv that was poorly made and will continue to have problems.

I will start with general rv the salesman we very nice but after that was by far the worst everything went down hill fast from that point I signed for an extended warranty and that didn't happen but I paid for it. I tried to talk to the manager Chris dietrich and thats a one way conversation and NOT in your favor the service department is all lies same with Chris dietrich. Then I get forest river involved and they lied to me and said they had no contact with Chris and had no knowledge of what was going on and that was a lie there were so many problems the manufacturer took it and they had to basically rebuild half the rv leals ,mold, slide problems, solar problems, batteries blowing up, water heater problems, countertops replaced, stabilizer replaced, stains, and just a ton more then they want to give me 3 grand for rolling junk that I paid 43,000.00 and I still haven't even sat on the bed 1 yr and 7 months later we just got it back and the door to the bedroom is broken and do you think anyone will respond to an email nope and now no warranty and no help they just want your money A BUNCH OF JUNK ,LIES, AND THEIVES

Dead blot lock on kitchen door would not unlock, had to go through other door and remove dead bolt lock. Front kitchen window frame fell off, was stapled on, fixed ourselves. King size mattress on a 55 inches wide board, mattress made out of string fiber, bought a queen mattress to replace it. Like the trailer but very cheap item's, poorly made and bad drainage design

Wonderful RV! I love the design from the huge windows on every side, to a slide out that has a hidden bunk/office/storage space behind the decorative shelving. You can use it at your will. The bedroom design is perfect you can switch between 2 twins to a king bed with windows on all 3 sides. The optional solar panel is so convenient for extra juice to the battery and some appliances and offers to upgrade easily for a off grid adventurer. Electric awning with light strip for easy late night hanging outside. Even comes with a outdoor shower and a flat top gas grill outside the RV in a easy stow away cargo spot. The power tongue jack makes hooking up and leveling down a breeze. Easy to tow and go!!!

We own a 2024 FR WW and highly recommend against purchasing. Very cheaply made. While the extra service warranty we purchased runs for six years, it is a real pain getting authorization. But, that’s not the main complaint. The stuff that really goes to crap is what’s not covered after one year. Sliding doors, didn’t last two camping trips before they were a real pain to open and close. The island for the kitchen, didn’t even make it to our first camping trip. I lifted it up and it is such thin wood that it cracked. Bathroom sink, the drain valve just snapped. While it is an easy and cheap fix, on our camper it’s a one piece pipe that was glued on and the entire sink needs to be replaced. The bedroom area is just inconvenient and poorly configured and I don’t know who designed the bathroom, but they must have been under 5 feet tall and weighed less than 100 pounds. Bottom line, the inside of the camper is nothing but cheaply made material that will not last.

I repeat do not buy one of these units. We have a Salem bunkhouse which we bought brand new from. Camping world neither camping world or forest river will back their product this travel trailer has basically fallen around from us. Our first trip out shower floods the floor blinds don’t go up and down. Water traps left out of bathroom, zinc, damage underneath, zinc in kitchen outside big gaps in trailer just basically pearly made, and they don’t stand behind their product please don’t bother this product. You will regret buying it. We are sitting with a white horse that we paid a tremendous amount of money for that cannot be used. Forest River has given me the runaround and refuses to fix it.
