This is a great pop-up. I like to get off the beaten path. I have had this in some very remote places at the end of some very rough trails. Done quite a bit of spring/fall camping where the weather gets cooler at night and the heater works great and warms up the camper very quickly. This unit packs up small but opens up to create all kinds of space. Has plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 kids (2 teen). Holds 20 gallons of water which can last a whole weekend with 5 people if you don't let the water run constantly. The hose on the outside is super handy for cleaning up dishes and yourself. Never had any issues with the battery going dead but do have it connected to a solar panel.

The hard side a-frame is a bad design. The actuator motor will burn out every 1-2 years. Sooner the better if you want Flagstaff to replace it. The bubble plastic window on the roof will leak. Flagstaff suggests getting it inspected at a dealer every 6 months. They know it will leak. When the dealer finds the leak - you will pay for it. You will also pay to have all the water intrusion damage fixed. Moldy mattress-rotten wood, etc. Flagstaff does not stand behind this product. They understand its awful. I gave it the lowest score because its a bad product. It failed dramatically in 2 years. That is its usable lifespan before its being repaired constantly.

We have had 2 Class As and a Class C, and one other travel trailer. We would often say that they didn’t make one that had everything we wanted in an RV until this Forest River Flagstaff Classic Super Lite. Here are a few of the specs that prove it. There are two A/Cs - living room and bedroom. Two TVs Bedroom and the one in living room is set in corner with entertainment center and fireplace. There are two nice leather rocker, swivel recliners, with matching sleeper sofa. The decor is elegant ecru. The island provides a great kitchen workspace. Windows everywhere. The bed is a true Queen. The outside lighting is fantastic: awning, stairs, porch; and, two awnings. Traveling with it is made easy with electric Jack to attach to Your truck. The levelling system is in a locked compartment near front - just push buttons and it is set - retract and ready to hit the road again.

We purchased this camper new in 2019 as our first camper. After looking and sitting in several from several brands. We settled on this one for it's warmth and interior appeal. Man did we get it right ! The trailer is heavy. At just under 5700 pounds. She is a beast. But with the large fresh and larger gray and black tanks compared to other campers. I knew we had a winner. We camped the first weekend with it and it instantly became a focal point to the groups around us. My wife loves the island and I like the real wood interior and smooth operations overall. Now, onto our second summer with the camper. I keep it waxed almost every trip. Using a good wax I walk around and wax a portion almost weekly. It takes minutes. But keeps that unsightly black streak marks from showing up. And it shines like no other. This summer. I decided to warm up the interior alittle be tiling the back splash in the kitchen and bathroom. What a difference. We also changed out the plastic interior cheap kitchen and bath faucets with moen faucets and a sprayer. We are now changing the kitchen sink to a single large bowl sink as you just can't fit that large pot of skillet in it to clean it. If you like to boondocks. We upgraded to two 550 amp batteries instead of the single 425 the camper came with. And we bought a small super quiet generator to run the air and tv when we boondock. The larger tanks make a weekend next to the river no problem. And the amenities make it relaxing and enjoyable for sure. Upgrade your batteries. Cha get the cheap faucets and make some homey touches and I and sure you will love this camper as much as we do. Lube your slides. Baby powder your seals. And keep the roof clean. You'll enjoy this for many years and I plan on doing !!

We are seasoned Pop-up campers—this Flagstaff was our 3rd—and the worst decision we’ve ever made. Brand new from the factory, we had trouble from the very first overnight camping trip to try it out. The hoses leaked, both on the shower and on the kitchen faucets—first a slow leak, then a steady stream that forced us to turn off the water outside and haul water inside in a bucket. The air conditioner, which we had installed at the dealership, didn’t have enough length in the cord, so the prongs on the plug-in bent, and was in a place where my husband needed arms at least 36” long to reach. The ceiling fan had a short from the minute we tried to turn it on—it would go on and off at will through the 26 hours we camped. The door wouldn’t align—it kept blowing open because it couldn’t latch, and definitely couldn’t be locked. The mattress warmer’s control fell apart in my hand when I took it out of the bag the first time. The next morning, in the process of taking the camper down, we saw that the king bunk had separated from the formica adjacent to it, over the drawer. We went back to the dealership, wanting to return the pop-up after our 24 hour fiasco. They refused. They threatened us if we pursued legal action. We went without our camper from April until late July while the dealership waited for parts from Forest River to replace what was broken, so we missed most of our 2019 camping season. We took it on a month-long camping trip to Colorado and Utah in the fall, thinking everything that was wrong was fixed. Those things were fixed, but now we had new issues. On the 9th day of our trip, the hot water tank quit working, with 21 days to go. Then, when we were taking down to move onto Utah, the futon couch would not go back into place as we tried to take down. Unbeknownst to us, the metal bracket had been factory installed at the wrong angle, and was cutting into the wood brace that supported it. We couldn’t take the pop-up down without my husband totally removing the bracket so the futon could go down. For the rest of the trip, we had to sit very carefully on the futon so it wouldn’t fall through into the storage area under it, and heated water on the cooktop to wash dishes. We wrote twice to the the CEO of Forest River, Peter Leigl, who promised to make it right and never did a thing. The salesman at Happy Trails RV in Lebanon MO who sold this unit to us, had no clue what he was doing, once we brought the camper back to them. The only saving grace was a repairman there, Chris, who did everything he could to fix all the problems this camper had. I would not buy another product from Forest River for any reason. They sell, then they’re done. The pop-up was on warranty, since it was brand new, so we didn’t have to pay for repairs, but we were never comfortable taking it on a trip again. PLEASE buy a camper from any other company but Forest River—it was a nightmare experience for us.
