This is a great unit. Perfect fit for a family that needs room. I one gave 3 stars on the towing and warranty because I don't have experience with either. It has two bathrooms and separate spaces for privacy when needed. The exterior kitchen makes entertaining guest and grilling ao much easier and better. The bathrooms both have one touch power vents witn adjustable fan speeds; no more manually opening vents. It has many small features that make this unit great such as full size, stainless steel fridge and oven, solid state counter tops, under seat storage on the kitchen chairs, under cabinet LED lighting, and more. If you have the opportunity at one of these, take it.

We loved it when we saw it. We started off with a Ford F450- Thor Motor coach. No expansion and were pulling a enclosed trailer with two Harleys in it. On our trip back from Wyoming, we decided to sell out Harleys and look at a towable trailer and trade in the motor coach if possible and replace it with a trailer. W really like the Forest River Wildwood trailer, but now that we've had it for 3 years, we are just going to get out of camping and sell the trailer. Been in many KOA camp sites and some others. Never had a problem while on trips...There is nothing wrong with the camper at all. I had the Air Conditioner replaced last summer while we were at Myrtle Beach SC campsite, and got an extended warranty on it. Most of the people we met while camping were younger than us.

We own a 2016 Wildwood Deluxe 39 FDEN destination trailer. We bought as a 1 year old in fall of 2017 and this is our 3rd season using it approx. 3 months of the year in Florida. We have had multiple issues with this trailer. --2nd season had to replace the living room air conditioner due to it freezing up and dripping on the floor, service guy said it was a very poor quality unit. --we had a water leak in the corner of the dining room slide by the main wall that we had repaired 2 times last season but over the summer it still leaked and rotted the floor and damaged the wallboard. We had to replace a 2 x 6 foot area of the floor. --the leather on the reclining chair cracked and peeled and it had to be thrown out. --we had a another water leak by the front bay window that destroyed the right hand end table, the water came in through a clearance light that had fallen out due to lack of caulking at the factory. --the rear air conditioner runs continuously and does not shut off, we haven't dealt with this yet. --there are many other minor issues that are due to poor product quality and workmanship that I haven't mentioned. I would like to hear from other owners of this model if they have encountered the same problems and how they fixed them. I contacted Forest River for some help and they blew me away by saying your out of warranty and there is no coverage. I asked if they would supply us with a new end table and I would install it and they flatly refused. They said I could order one from a forest river dealer and pay for it. I thought forest river would have some goodwill warranty but I guess not. It appears that forest river has very poor quality and workmanship and does not stand behind their products. This is the fifth RV we have owned, the most expensive and the poorest quality, I will never buy a another forest river product.

I had a Fleet Wood travel trailer before this one and It was old but worked. Like someone mentioned above. Never again for me.

We purchased our wildwood 254rlxl new in 2016 and have been making repairs on it since the day we purchased it. It’s nice sitting in the showroom but once you start to camp with it ,altogether different. We replaced all 5 Gladiator tires. Took it on a 4000 mile trip and tires wore so unevenly had to replace. Used the outside shower once and the plastic hinge broke off. The shower pan has a large crack in it. The a/c return air vent cracked. The sliding door brackets both cracked on the bathroom door. The roof vent cracked and blew off this wknd from our camping trip. Sounds like it gets rough use but believe me it doesn’t. We’re both retired. The camper we traded was a 1998 Fleetwood Prowler which we bought new. Wish we kept it. In reply to the person who wondered if they got a lemon, you’re not alone. Very poor quality ?

First off, there are various options on this model. I bought mine in Harrisburg, PA Mine is a El-CHEAPO with residential fridge instead of LP or 3-way fridge, side AC, no spare tire, no exhaust fans of any type, no door window. Now the design defects done by redneck amateurs not educated professional engineers: 1. The floor was cut out underneath the bathtub drain trap pipe. Big hole! You could see daylight while changing the bypass valve on the hot water tank. I built a box around it, and closed it in. 2. The membrane underneath was a total joke Ollies type $5 thin black tarp that frayed out and was hanging down under the RV exposing the floorboards after the 3-4th time I towed it from the wind buffeting it. The tires are so cheap they are not even rated for much more than dry weight, and underrated at the RV's own GVWR. The bed cushions were worthless. Bare plywood would have at least saved me from disposing of the silly "mattresses". Luckily, residential full size fit perfectly in the front, and I custom made new ones for the rear bunks. The black water tank is very small, but I realize that is reasonable for an x-lightweight rating, etc. The freezer inside the fridge is a cheaper design than separating the freezer from the fridge, which is why I've replaced the fridge already. Nothing stayed frozen because opening the fridge for drinks thawed the freezer all the time. $90 junk fridge. came in it. I really messed up by not insuring it had the expensive LP gas fridge. Going primitive camping sucks because you have to run a generator of use coolers for your food. Otherwise, from what I've said, I like the rest of my RV. I like the floorplan having two young kids with myself up front. I actually liked the wall being bare below the bed and NOT a throughway at the foot of the bed allowing a trash can, and dirty clothes hamper, and a wide custom coat rack I built for on the wall epoxied and anchored into the wall studs. The biggest thing now is the missing extra closet space the 21BH model had between the dinette seat and the bunk wall this one doesn't have which could have stored our clean clothes out of the way instead of duffle bags kept in the bunks or at the dinette, etc. The seat cushions weren't bad and the vinyl is good quality, but I still upgraded to a firmer foam inside the covers. One more thing, the front is getting pot marked with small dents because of no diamond plate, or gravel guard on the front. Price was not all that cheap at $13k, considering it's lacking the things i've discussed, but it still beats a pop-up any day of the week.

Had to take it in to get fixed after 4 outings and now we got to take it in again for the same reason. The place I bought it from is horrible as well. Now I'm 15000.00 upside down in this trailer and can't get out of it. So now I'm stuck with a piece of crap trailer. If the slide gets fixed and works I will do a update.
