Grand Design REFLECTION 303RLS reviews

Overall have been very disappointed with the quality of our Reflection 303 RLS. We have had drawers fly out when we are driving, the refrigerator doors open on numerous occasions, the shower wheels brake and the worst is our sofa couch. You cannot sleep on it without a wedge. I was very fortunate to find Otis Bedding that was able to make me a wedge where my family can now sleep comfortably. I highly recommend reaching out to them if you have this travel trailer. Our experience with this rv was wonderful. The floor plan is good for a couple orr a small family Very large living room with comfortable recliners And a firepkace No major issues. Service was great Tows easy. Sets up in minutes. Auto level system Worked excellent I would recommend this unit Show less

The floor plan is great. Plenty of room and layed out well. All appliances have worked very well. We really love the refrigerator 12 v and large. The unit tows well and is very easy to hook up with the auto hitch to original function. Excellent warranty and great service when needed Show less

Having owned and used my Grand Design Reflection for 6 months, I now have a better understanding of the positive and negative aspects of the equipment. For me the positives are as follows: 1. solar panel and 12V residential refrigerator. 2. Waste water output pipe 20" from ground. 3. Cabinets and pantry storage space. 4. Tankless hot water heater. 5. Fireplace colors and heat effectiveness. 6. Lots of power outlets. 7. Electric kitchen ceiling fan with wall controls. Vents to outside. Negatives that we have experienced are as follows: 1. Bathroom ceiling fan opens manually and fan switch located on ceiling fan. For shorter people this design does not work well without some form of stepping stool. Poor design! 2. Refrigerator door frequently comes open during travel. 3. Fifth wheel shakes when anyone is walking around inside. 4. Reclining chairs are not secure and move during travel. Show less

Refrigerator went out within 1st year. All of the fittings leaked. The oven doesn’t heat accurately. Washer/ Dryer doesn’t dry properly. Load takes 2 hours. Couch is falling apart. Hitch light is inoperable. The dealer won’t come out and work on it. We live in it and can’t tow it in. Show less

The name grand design would lead you to think that things were engineered well. How do you engineer the clothes closet without enough hanging length for your clothes to be too long not to be all wrinkled at the bottom. There are two drawers below the hanging space that could have been made shorter so your clothes could hang normally. Or elemenated for proper hanging in the closet. Do not put things in the tubs in the front storage area the tubs are thin cheap plastic and they break out and cave in. The spray on the cabinets is so poorly done light spots showing through nail holes not finished properly. Don’t let the name grand design fool you not well thought through at all Show less

Today is July the 11 2023 . I dropped off my 2023 grand design 303 rls 5th wheel I advised Eric that that I will need to pick up my camper by no later than July the 26 th because we a planned vacation . we will see what happens. I have a lot of concerns about this I will be following up with more information about the time frame and the work schedule and performance . This r v was purchased new in February and my wife and have only had one opportunity to take it camping on one trip where we discovered a severe water leak around the skylight in the shower. And have not been able to use it sense do to the severity of the leak when it rains . There are several other problems issues as well . We will see how Grand Design addresses these issues. Now we feel like we purchased a LEMON !,,,,,,,, Show less

We have several issues with this one despite buying it new. The auto leveling system no longer works well. The oven had to be replaced. The water heater fuse blew. The handle broke on the fridge. The replacement oven won't light. The roof developed cracks. A ceiling light needs replacing. And the icing on the cake you ask? The hitch doesn't allow for a tight turn and the corner of the trailer hit and broke the back window of the truck. The dealer says that it's installed correctly and shouldn't have happened. After fixing multiple problems the camper is now in the shop for 3 week as of today and GD hasn’t shipped the parts because we were told new sales take a higher priority. Shame on them as a new 75;000 truck sits in the driveway and we needed to cancel camp dates Show less

This is a great rig. It tows wonderfully even in windy conditions. The double air conditioners keep the rig cool in the summer and the heating keeps everything nice and toasty. We have not had any issues with the rig. Show less
