2020 Grand Design Solitude was perfect for our full-time living with kids. Large living room with 2 slide-outs and giant windows, large kitchen with island, 2 bedrooms (one fits a king size mattress) the other we converted to a bunk room, lots of storage, washer & dryer, large fresh water and gray tanks - all these made it comfortable for full time living and traveling. We got a nice solar setup and a generator and were able to boondock for over a week at a time. Lots of great memories! The 2020 model is also great because it is fairly new but still pre-pandemic so the quality is there.

When camping in the coach is so well insulated that you won't hear neighbors talking outside. Used mostly in the Florida heat and have no issue in cooling down the rv fast, or keeping a comfortable temp 24/7. No need in having a heavy duty truck to pull this coach pulls easy with a 4.0L Ford Ranger with no issue. Braking system on this RV is great for stopping

The electric fireplace/space heater was an unexpected surprise. Not that it was in the rig, but we enjoyed it so much. The fireplace does a great job taking the chill out on a early fall morning. The ambiance while snuggled up in the the theater seats was enjoyed.

Just wanted to drop a few lines about my 2020 Grand Design Transcend 29TBS. This trailer is the real deal when it comes to hitting the road. First off, the sleeping situation is awesome. There's a queen bed that's super comfy for the grown-ups, and the kids have their own bunk space. It's like they've got their own little den, which means they're out of our hair at bedtime. Win-win! The kitchen is a dream. Cooking in this thing is a piece of cake. Whether you're whipping up breakfast inside or grilling burgers outside, you've got everything you need. Plus, cleaning up is no sweat, so more time to chill. You know how you pack for a trip and wonder where to put all your stuff? Well, this trailer has storage for days. I mean, you can bring along all your gear and still have room to walk around. It's pretty sweet. I've had a couple of trailers before, but this one feels like it's built to last. Everything's put together really well, and it just feels sturdy, you know? Had a small issue with the outdoor spray port once, and the folks at Grand Design were on it like white on rice. Seriously, their customer service is top-notch. It's really big at 36 feet, but it tows easy even with a half ton truck or some large suvs. So, yeah, if you're looking for a travel trailer that's like a home away from home, this is it. The Grand Design Transcend 29TBS is where it's at. It's got everything you need for some epic road trips with the people you love

This has to be one of family camping's best layouts - a separate room for the kids on the opposite end of the camper! Two bedrooms, sleeps 9 comfortably. A residential Queen bed in the primary bedroom, and three bunks with storage for the kids. Indoor and outdoor cooking stations. Lots of interior storage and cabinet space. Plenty of counter space for prep, and a great banquette for family meals and perfect for movie nights with the included 32" TV. Easy streaming devide hookups, and comes with a DVD player and radio with two zone speaker system. Two refridgerators (inside/outside) for convenience. Tons of light from two big skylights. Windows that open and 4 vent fans for great circulation. Roomy bathroom setup with plenty of storage and a shower tall enough for your your biggest campers. Great storage space under the primary bedroom that goes all the way through for your camping gear. AC/Heater works very quickly and has been tested in many seasons. Plus all the great small features of a Grand Design camper - strong stairs, magnetic latches on storage doors, EZ-up Queen bed for access to storage, vents in sidewalls (not the floor) to avoid becoming dust-traps. Tows great with tanks empty or full. Power jack for quick setup. Ladder for easy access to the roof. Spare tire included.

PRIOR OWNERSHIP OF THE GRAND DESIGN TRAILER HAS PRESENTED MINOR ISSUES SUCH AS: WATER PUMP, THERMOSTAT, CIRCUIT BOARD ON WATER HEATER, PROPANE REGULATOR. NOTHING THAT SHUT ME DOWN THAT I COULD NOT REPAIR OR GO TO PLAN B. LITTLE WATER LEAK AT KITCHEN WINDOW, EASY FIX. IN THE MARINES WE LEARN TO ADAPT, IMPROVISE, AND OVERCOME! I HAVE SOLD MY PREVIOUS UNITS TO MY WORKERS AND THEY STILL HAVE THEM! THE TWO BEST PRODUCTS OF GRAND DESIGN ARE THE XLS SERIES AND THE REFLECTION SERIES. BIG TRAILERS=BIG PROBLEMS! LITTLE TRAILERS=LITTLE PROBLEMS! LIKE WITH KIDS!

I’ve waited a long time to write a review based on the warranty issues my wife and I had from the time of purchase. We bought Grand Design because family members purchasing toyhaulers from Windish RV and really liked their momentum fifth wheels. Sure, they might have one or two issues however, they’re generally pleased with their purchase. I was impressed by build quality of the frame and suspension. Additionally, with respect to our trailer, it pulls wonderfully. This is where the positivity ends! If I knew then what I know now, I’d left this piece of junk at Windish RV! Right off the bat, electronic and electrical issues. Known recalls weren’t addressed until the trailer was sold then parts were not available and shop scheduling was atrocious! Awnings we’re not mounted correctly, five of window shades had pin holes, kitchen slide seal was cut and folded over, decals falling off and the straw that broke the camels back was today I noticed the screws are backing out of the joint between the front cap and rubber roof. High probability of water infiltration causing the sheeting to swell. Then walk in the rv, to begin the summer cleaning prior loading the coach for many trips planned this summer and fall, to find the microwave ready to fall and hit the cook top. Guess what? No warranty to fall back on! We traded a 1999 Jayco to buy this Reflection. That said, that twenty year old Jayco never had the issues, in the twenty years we owned it, this 337RLS has now! We thought we were upgrading to the Grand Design so we could travel in our retirement. Not sure traveling in this rig is a smart idea. I wish I had more time to be specific about the issues of this trailer, but this review would be so long you could be considered as a diatribe of a disgruntled customer. Well, the disgruntled customer is certainly true therefore, my advice to any prospective customers would be quite simple. Stay away from grand design and Windish RV.

This is our fifth RV and by far, the most outstanding 5th wheel we have ever owned. The floor plan is incredible - fully equipped kitchen with an island, lots of storage with a pantry and drawers, residential refrigerator and stove. a microwave/convection, plus a neat window over the double kitchen sinks! You will not run out of cabinets for storage. The living area is spacious with two love seats, 50" TV with stereo system on a beautiful wood wall decor, entertainment seating with heat & vibration options. You could set up a card table and four chairs and still have lots of room. The bathroom has two sinks, two medicine cabinets, spa shower unit and lots of storage. The bedroom has storage underneath the bed with a deep pull out drawer, the top of the dresser lifts up for jewelry, etc, the closet is very spacious and there is a washer and dryer in a separate closet in the bedroom. The 5th wheel has full body paint in Cabernet and the underneath storage is incredible! You can access underneath all the way around! Axle-front & rear 8000# wit DISC Brakes are the best the the Lippert 6-Point automatic leveling system. There are many windows for openness and lots of light. There is a built in camera system on the exterior - everything you would ever need is on this unit. We absolutely loved our four month time in it and unfortunately my husband passed unexpectedly and that is the only reason it is for sale. This is the perfect one!
