Grand Design REFLECTION reviews

We love our 297! It is extremely comfortable and spacious, from the multitude of large windows with the heated, massage recliners in the livingroom to the queen size traditional mattress in the bedroom. On cold mornings it is wonderful to make a cup of coffee or tea and sit in front of the fireplace as you plan out our day. Of course, if you prefer, you can just turn up the heat to feel warm and toasty throughout the unit. The kitchen has everything you need! Plenty of counterspace with a large sink with gooseneck faucet and sprayer is adequate for anything you want to wash or prep. We travel for weeks at a time and have adequate space in the refrigerator, freezer and cabinets for all of our meals. The indoor stove/oven and the outdoor propane stove are very convenient. The microwave/convection oven is fabulous for preparing quick meals. There are also a lot of electric outlets for any convenience appliances you use. The wood dining table and 4 separate chairs are very comfortable and can be used in the living room or outside when you have a lot of guests to seat. Both the table and two of the chairs have smaller spaces for storage. The bathroom is spacious and there is plenty of storage for towels, personal products and cleaners. The glass shower doors are easy to clean and make the space feel open. Sitting outside surrounded by nature under the awning watching sports or movies on the TV, or listening to music from the outdoor speakers with drinks in the small refrigerator just a couple feet away is incredibly relaxing. The basement passthrough holds a lot of equipment and is easy to access. Show less

This is my second GD trailer. Upgraded from an 2019 Imagine which was poorly made. Many screws stripped on side panels and skirting. Put together with Gorilla tape to get home. Trailer just out of warranty so all repairs out of pocket. Now have 2024 Reflection 297RSTS. Very easy to pull. Better construction than the Imagine except the latch to hold shower door very flimsy. Came loose during travels and glass doors shattered. AWNING MOUNTED TOO LOW. Sharp corners of slideout cutinto awning when being extended or retracted. Had to contact NC State attorney General office before GD would answer any emails. No resolution yet, Took away outside lighting replaced with speakers. It is so dark you can not see stairs at night. Refrigerator went out within 1st year. All of the fittings leaked. The oven doesn’t heat accurately. Washer/ Dryer doesn’t dry properly. Load takes 2 hours. Couch is falling apart. Hitch light is inoperable. The dealer won’t come out and work on it. We live in it and can’t tow it in. Show less

We bought this brand new in 21 two weeks after arriving from the factory. This is the only rv we’ve ever owned and nothing but good things to say about it. Never had a single issue with it, both ac’s runs strong, never had any leaks refrigerator runs like champ. We also lived in it full time for 2 years with zero complaints. All of the extras this rv came with made it even more of a home run with fully electric self leveling stabilizers to app controllable awning, lights and stabilizers. I wouldn’t have bought any other rv. This rv is great for anyone starting the rv life or a veteran of rv life looking for a more upgraded unit. Show less

My wife and I purchased our Grand Design Reflection on 11/14/23 form Brown's RV Superstore in Mabee S.C. This is our permanent home now. So far so good. The problem has been attitude dealing with customer service at Grand Design. We have only rolled out our awnings three or four times and the main awning has a tear in it. I sent pictures to the dealership and was told to contact Grand Design. My wife called and talked to Davida Horner and she was very rude to my wife. Then I talked to Davida Horner and she was very rude and short with me. I'm sure the seventy thousand dollars we spent is not a big thing to a company this size but that's a lot of money to us. Davida Horner did not try to help in any way. We kinda thought maybe they would kinda give us a little help but no. We bought this GD Reflection after seeing my brother-in-law's newer, smaller Reflection. We are 3rd owners, and so we don't know its history, but it appears to have been lived in by professional linemen across the country (Georgia). We saw it in Colorado, so know it had been driven at least that far. It shows wear and tear, but the quality of the GD build attests to how well it's stood up. This last month, we suffered a broken leaf spring failure. The break shows it was failing (dark marks across the break) for some time. GD refused to help pay the $3,000 replacement charge, which I understand due to multiple owners and it being 3 years past warranty. The undercarriage was made by Lippert. The exterior graphics are, chipped and faded, and we are disappointed in GD's out of sight prices. We'll never be able to replace graphics at these prices! Show less

This rv is awesome! It’s a great size to downsize to if leaving your home while still having majority of the same amenities of a house. Full size appliances, on demand water heaters, smart home features! Anyone interested with a family or just looking for a solid rv needs to look at this model. Show less

We purchesd this unit because it was cheaper priced than the smaller unit we were looking for. Bigger unit with all the features we wanted and then some. Quality craftsmanship throughout unit. Excellent floor plan and very spacious. Jerry and Nancy Ford Lone Tree, IA Show less

What an awesome floor plan on this trailer. I just upgraded from an Intech Sol Horizon which I loved but was too small for my needs. I couldn't be happier choosing the Grand Design Reflection, it's a home on wheels and a beautiful one at that. Show less

We brought a Lancer travel trailer in 2019. I will never buy Lance trailer again. We have a lemon it has broken down 10 times. And we wait for parts for ever. It’s in the shop again waiting on parts. They had for a month. If you are thinking of buying a lance run don’t walk they are garbage. Show less
