We love this trailer! It is roomy and convenient. The 60x80 queen bed is most comfortable, standard queen sheets is a plus. The under-bed storage is spacious. The hydraulic piston struts hold the bed up securely. Another feature is the theater seating. Each can "push back" the seat to desired position. A deep console between the seats holds the remotes. The dining table is sturdy; thus, can hold the weight when lowered to the bed position. And the refrigerator is ideal. So much room! It runs on solar or electricity. It is ideal to keep running when traveling. No need for propane. Makes it economical to run. We like the arrangement of the kitchen, range and refrigerator. Great working spaces and ample drawers and cupboards. The entry has a 3-way light. Walking from the bedroom to bathroom, during the night, the sensor light comes on. A big safety factor. (The rear bathroom is nice, too. One does not disturb those sleeping in the bedroom or the dinette.) A large shower is a must. So roomy. Easy in and out. (We use double shower hooks and camper shower curtain and liner. Looks very nice, too.) The entry has a shoe cubby. So handy for shoes and other items...flashlights, gloves, etc. The closet can be used for shelves or hanging coats, etc. The drawers are large. These are a plus. The fold-down stairs are larger than what we've had in other RV's. These are very safe. The grab handle is so nice to be able to move the position right or left. (The only thing we would change about the handle is to extend the rubber sleeve over the entire handle.) With the solar panel one has smaller propane tanks. So nice and easy to handle when having to refill the tanks. The back-up camera is a must! Very accurate. Can be used when driving, too.

We finally got to pick it up and go camping, and realized we had a lot to learn about owning a camper. We learned quickly and really enjoy our camper, other than the "issues" that we have had to deal with...see below.

I looked for awhile because I needed a 2 bedroom 2 bath travel trailer. I relocate often do to work and needed the space for my family. Very rare to find one with both needs. I finally found this one. All the upgrades to weren't bad either. Lots of space and room to spread out. The inside amenities and upgraded residential aesthetics are great to ,doesn't make it seem to much like a trailer which is really nice since we would be missing that for awhile. Stays quite warm in the winter and very cool in summer. The outside kitchen is great to for the summer.

I have owned a couple of travel trailers over the past 20 years. In 2019, my wife and I purchased a new Grand Design trailer after we became empty nesters. I had the typical new trailer issues and had to interact with an inept dealer repair service in our area. I stated calling Grand Design directly and they were always able to assist me with the few issues we had. My wife and I had put over 8000 miles on the trailer in about 2 1/2 years and had one of the fender skirts crack. I called Grand Design and they shipped me the new skirt. Thats service!! We recently made the decision to go full time when I retire in a little over a year. We had been unofficially shopping for 5th wheels that are more suitable for full time use. After my last interaction with Grand Design, I will go back to them for our full-time 5th wheel. Great support and they stand behind their product.

Loving this model. My wife & I did our research and viewed many new & used and decided on this new 2022 Model. The solar panel runs the lights & refrigerator. The A/C has a dry mode to take out the humidity here in FL. The water heater has gas or electric options & I turn on electric and can shower in 2-5mins after turning it on. The HD TV has a digital antenna on top of the unit that pulls in 30 channels. That's more then the 20 Channels my 60 mile antenna pulled in down the street. Love the Deep Refrigerator as holds a lot. We added a Serta Best Seller mattress pad for comfort. We swapped out Shower Head with a 5 settings one from Walmart. No fireplace, No island, No dishwasher, No washer and dryer hookup. Less things to go wrong. I sleep better.

I find the doors stick when the trailer is in the sun and the decal on front door melted to the door grab handle when it was folded closed. I contacted Grand Design and after sending photos and several e-mails I was told they did not have a fix for the problem. I read on a forum where numerous people are having same problems. I mentioned this to the Grand Design service rep and was told I would not have this issue in the winter as it was not hot outside. I also asked about a heat retardent and was told there was not one. I asked if the problem had been presented to the design team and was asked was I saying this was a Grand Design problem or Lippert Components as they manufactured the door. I sent a reply back asking about the air gap at bottom of door and the melted decal on bedroom door to see if they were going to do anything about this. Waiting for a reply. I purchased the Transcend after much research having owned other brands of travel trailers in the past. Ratings were very good on the Grand Design so I purchased that brand. Rating showed good quality and great customer service. Now I question my decision. Another issue the light over bed went out after a couple months (had trailer less than 6 months) took in to the dealer for repair and some other warranty adjustments, took over a month to get the light fixture. With all the individuals having the door expansion issue and not cooing the Travel Trailer, has anyone found a solution? I feel Grand Design should fix the issues with doors and cooling as they say they will resolve problems. To be told I will not have this problem in the winter makes me really question what kind of customer service Grand Design has. I would have some serious issues recommend this company for service and warranty. The layout for the Transcend is great just not sure how it will hold up.
