Grand Design Solitude reviews

Our Grand Design Solitude 375RES has truly been a joy. We have had practically no issues with this pre-pandemic manufactured unit since we received it. I personally like all the storage space available. This camper is full of luxury. We have mostly kept the unit on a seasonal site, but have travelled with it on occasion. We had upgraded to the unit with the MoRyde 8K Independent Suspension and Disc Breaks. We also installed an additional bi-directional storage tray and RV Cord rollup up unit. Unit is well built and well thought out ! We lived in ours traveling for over a year and could it exceeded all our expectations. We really like the three distinct spaces. The is no lack of storage . It's big but tows great! Show less

Grand Design makes an exceptional product followed by their over-the-top customer service. They believe in their product and it shows. I could see myself living in my 375RES with my husband full-time. It has 3 separate living areas(Living, Bedroom and Kitchen) so you don't feel like you're living on top of each other. We love our RV! Show less

My husband and I have had wonderful times with this RV. The things we like most are (many things) the living room is a theater room with its big TV that hides when your not using it. The recliners are great, they massage, they heat, lounge even light up !! couches on the sides can go into Queen beds. A large fireplace and there's tons of storage. The kitchen is big and easy to use, I am a sous chef and the kitchen is one thing I looked at in all 5th wheels, and this one won ! There is also a big pantry... The bathroom is roomy My husband is 195 lbs and has no problem getting in and out of the shower. The bedroom, we changed the Queen size bed to a King with custom mattress and are very happy with that. We also added a washer/dryer stackable and I would never live without one!!! The outside storage is the biggest I have seen on any 5th wheel. WE carry 2 bikes, a kayak, floats, extra table and 4 chairs, and outside lounge chairs. My husband brings his computer and printer etc. The one downfall is there is not allot of storage in the bathroom, there is a medicine cabinet, storage under sink and a tall cabinet to the right of the toilet we were always going to put an extra shelf in and that would have fixed things, but we never did!!! Lots of windows in this RV that are tinted so people cant see in. It's a wonderful RV and it is quality made. We are getting a large diesel pusher, otherwise we would be happy to keep this Show less

We love the layout of this RV, it's easy to maintain and gorgeous to see coming down the road. Keeping the outside clean is the key to it's beauty and like anything else, you take care of it and do the yearly maintenance on it, the rig will not fail you. We get compliments on it all the time and it is affordable. Show less

Our Grand Design Solitude 375RES is an awesome fifth wheel. We have had zero problems with the unit.5000 miles so far.Tows extremely well with our Ram dually. Quality interior woodwork and flooring. We have had three Grand Design units and all were wonderful Rvs. Show less

Love the floor plan and overall design. However every time I turn around I'm finding things falling apart. Loose screws, slides ruining the floors, slides leaking when closed, holding tank sensors stick as well as plugged, water heater failed. Kitchen sink came apart while traveling. Not impressed with the overall construction of the unit. Took it in to dealer to have some issues looked at and since they didn't find anything that they could repair they charged almost $600 in labor cost. Check it out good before you buy one. Show less

i have looked at a lot of 5th wheels and bar none this model is amazing. Every detail for long term living is met and is a very high tech unit. We went from our home to this and living in this unit is more comfortable than our house and everyday is a holiday. If your looking to move out of your bank sucking mortgage and into easy living then this is the model you want hands down!!! Thx grand design!! LOTS OF STORAGE!! SUPER FANCY!! Show less

So where do I begin, I recently owned a 2018 a solitude 375RES by Grand design. I've been researching fifth wheels for quiet some time and the 375RES had everything my wife and I was looking for, luxury, separate living areas and the most shortage that I have yet to find in other fifth wheels. I would definitely recommend this unit In fact if you read the beginning I said I recently owned one after my first long trip I had an accident and total this unit so I went back to researching and I still can not find another fifth wheel to meet all my needs except this model so I will soon will be purchasing my second solitude 375RES Show less
