We've had the RV for just over 4 years. Bought new. We do not travel with the unit. It is on a seasonal site. However I did move it 60 miles from the original seasonal location to another and it towed very well. The only real issue we've ever had was the Norcold 1210 model refrigerator. The original one was DOA upon us taking delivery. It was replaced quickly and that unit lasted about 2 years. GD was helpful in coordinating a replacement unit along with our dealer. That one failed as well. I replaced it with a residential refrigerator. I replaced the bathroom faucet as well. The original was simply too low to the sink bowl. A simple and easy process. Otherwise the floor plan, storage and overall functionality has been awesome for us.

Love the camper but have had FOUR GE air conditioning units go down in less the TWO years! And we are not full timers. We didn't even take it out during the hot part of the summer in our second season for fear it would fail again... and sure enough. First trip out this summer and another AC unit went down. Annoying beyond words. If Grand Design doesn't change AC brands I will not be able to buy another unit from them, which is a shame because we love everything else about it. I will say, so far Grand Design has replaced all the units and my dealer has made the exchange as easy as possible but it is still a MAJOR pain. We live an hour from our dealer.

We have had a wonderful experience with our Grand Design Reflection. Love the floor plan with the kitchen island and the huge king-sized bed. The only negative we found was the mattress. We upgraded the mattrs ess to one we found more comfortable. We also like the size of the fresh water, gray water and black water storage. We had 2 Airstreams before we purchased the Reflection but did not care for the floor plans or the heating system, although the overall quality on the Airstreams was good.. We are delighted with the quality of the Reflection and the manufacturer provides great service. We spoke with the service manager of the RV shop where we purchased the Grand Design and he tells us that Grand Design is one of the better manufacturers when it comes to service and standing by their warranties.

We are very disappointed in our new Grand Design Reflection Travel trailer. On our first trip out, we discovered the refrigerator was inoperable, the fuse box door fell off and the paint was literally wiping off the door entry assist handle. The dealer did, over a period of time, replace the refrigerator and the handle, and reinstall the fuse box door. I greatly struggle with that many defects on the first day out. Since then, a total of eight nights in the field, the front jack has quit working, I'm getting by with using the manual jack crack handle, the lower dresser drawer face board is loose and will soon fall off if not repaired, the inner trim around the kitchen slide is loose, virtually no dealer support on how to hookup and or operate the two TVs, it's getting to be a contest if we can continue to patch things up every day as fast as this thing is falling apart. This is our Last Grand Design,

We walked thru a 2021 315 RLTS that had sold the day before. We were told we would be receiving the exact trailer. When we went for our walk thru months later, we told the dealership that the frig was not the one we ordered, the paperwork stated that the Haier brand in our unit was FORCED upon the consumer and no action could be taken with the exception of returning the trailer and seeing if the manufacturer would put in the correct frig. Although there was no guarantee. Not only did we not get the correct frig but the one forced on us was a Residential frig / electric only. Not the propane we purchased. The freezer never worked and during the summer the frig quit working all together. Grand designs customer service department namely Katie was less then helpful telling us the trailer was built to spec and for us to go back to our sales rep if we had a problem with that. She continually talked over me and basically told me I had no ground to stand on. There would be no compensation for the incorrect lesser quality frig and if I had any issues with that I should go back to my sales rep. We even took pictures of the trailer we walked thru, specifically the frig. but that doesn’t seem to matter. We paid a lot of money for an RV that is supposed to be quality but ended up with a cheap broken frig, propane heater that went out, torn linoleum from the slide and cabinet scribe falling off . Buyer beware when ordering!! Will not ever order a new Grand Design!!

This RV is extremely comfortable and roomy. The amount of storage is incredible. The pantry and refrigerator / freezer allow you to pack food for long trips. Kitchen island adds so much space for food preparations and entertaining. The two outside awnings are sturdy and provide great shade. Good speakers and lighting. Take more toys and less clothes with the washer and dryer, skip the laundry mat! It really is like traveling in a 4 star hotel suite.
