Grand Design forgot to put sleeves on slide out on edge of flooring on kitchen. The pressboard is frayed. Of course I didn’t notice there wasn’t a sleeve on the end until I noticed it fraying. (I keep my unit in a shop so it took some time for it to start fraying on edges)
Now I have to pull all the appliances and replace the floor out of pocket and the only thing grand design is going to do is send the plastic pieces. Susan with Grand Design blames me for not noticing the sleeves were on there. What a joke! I bought this unit brand new and the dealer or Grand Design should have inspected thoroughly not the customer. That’s why I buy new.
We have had multiple issues including the couches cheap upholstery peeling (another issue they are unwilling to resolve or stand behind)
When it comes to buying from Grand Design forget about your warranty it is useless. They point fingers instead of accepting responsibility.
I understand that it will cost me more money to fight this but I am looking for an attorney today just to make them stand behind this $100k mistake I made in trusting this manufacturer. If anyone knows attorneys that are familiar with cases like this please DM me. I will see this through no matter the cost. It’s principal at this point.

I took it to a repair vessel to get the recall fixed on the suspension. I had the shop check a spoagy spot in my floor in front of my pantry. They called me and told me I had bad water damage in the floor . I got a estimate and it was $16,000 to repair it.

My heart was broken and I am angry. We spent very good money on what we thought was a great product. However I feel Grand Design does not stand behind their product and we have had several issues with ours. #1 was the generator. Seems after a visit to dealer and my husband on the phone trouble shooting the problem they think it\'s the transfer switch we have not gotten that fixed yet. The battery went dead after 3 months and we had to purchase a new one. No warranty. They led us to believe a backup camera was included in this model it wasn\'t but we could never get a straight answer. I so want to do long trips but our wheel, hub and all came off our very 1st long distant trip had no resolution with that as well. I feel we got the shaft and no one cared.

We love the comfort of our Toy Hauler but what we don\'t love is the dust the comes in the camper on the pantry side, on the bottom and fills the camper with dirt every time we get on a dirt road. We have had campers with slide outs before so yes we know there not going to keep all of the dirt out but this fills the camper going and coming. We have taken pictures before taking it into the dealer with no luck in getting it fixed. We know there has to be something that can be done because its just that one corner that fills with dirt and causes the dust cloud through out the camper.
We also had a small tear in the seam of the leather couch and the piece they replaced it with doesn\'t match the rest of the couch. We paid lots of money for this camper by adding an extra air conditioner etc because we want to do lots of traveling but the dirt that comes in rather we\'re on the highway or dirt road is awful. This weekend was really bad when we got to our camp site I just wanted to sit down and bawl because I\'d spent so much time cleaning it after the Dealership said it was fixed.
