Grand Design Influence 3003 RL 3003RL reviews

We have been travel trailer campers for 3 years. We started with a Coleman so we could learn the ropes along with pros and cons of camper life. After 2 years we felt confident enough to upgrade and decided on Grand Design. From reading reviews, this was supposed to be a better quality camper and the floor plan was exactly what we wanted! We also bought a new truck to be able to pull the Grand Design. We bought the camper in October 2021. On December 18th 2021, during our family vacation to Gatlinburg TN, the slide broke. This was our third time to use the camper. We were given an appointment date of January 5th to drop the camper off for repair. THREE months later we finally get the camper back. This prolonged time was NOT grand designs fault. In fact, they helped us to get it back by calling the dealership and lighting a fire under their butts. Fast forward to July 22nd, 2022. We had used the camper about 6 times since the slide repair and on another family vacation, the slide broke again. After numerous calls to various people, we have been given a drop off date for repair of September 9th, which is 6 weeks from now,...again, not Grand Designs fault that dealerships are so backed up. BUT we have paid several thousands of dollars for the camper, a new truck, camper insurance, truck insurance and storage for the camper and we have NOT been able to use the camper for months at a time due to what I believe is a design flaw in the slide system and that IS Grand Design's fault. I called and asked them to take it back because apparently it is a lemon and they said no. I asked for some sort of financial compensation for the months of lost time with the camper and they said no. I have looked into arbitration and apparently it is set up to lean towards the big fish, not the little fish in this scenario. Every time I have spoken to customer service, they have been very nice and respectful but the GD Imagine, or at least our Grand Design Imagine is flawed and I would not recommend buying it.
