Grand Design Imagine 2400BH reviews

Biggest mistake I ever made. Saw the reviews where people were having issues with their slideouts. Thought it really couldn't be that bad. Well, it's that bad. Not only was my slideout inoperable after 3 uses to the point I had to drive is over 300 miles still sticking out 4", I've already had to have the entire roof replaced due to the skylight being crack and completely rotted out my roof. This unit was built Nov 2021, bought Dec 2021 and been in the shop now since June 6, with absolutely no work being done on it yet. I do actually like the floor plan and the towability, but I couldn't give this piece of garbage any good reviews. Show less

In July we purchased a 2021 2400BH Grand Design Imagine . We now have 9,000 miles on it traveling cross country and it is awesome. The way it handles behind out Ram and the overall quality. The AC , Fridge / Freezer elec or propane/micro/ oven / cooktop /Heater/ water heater elec or propane / slide out / awning / sinks / shower / holding tanks everything works great. We had 2 issues the fridge handle broke from my husband and the outside plastic cover for the freezer vent came off both at different times were next day aired to the RV parks we were staying at. This TT has been our first ever camper and first ever camping experience and I have to say we are happy we chose Grand Design. The RV designers planned a floor plan to meet the needs of a family or couple who enjoy traveling, and the outdoors with the comforts of home. The sturdy structure made towing smooth and safe. Definitely recommend this make and model. Show less

Did the research before purchase. We loved the size at 30ft, weight less than 6,000lbs and the floor plan. The full bunks in the back, the queen master in the front. Gave separation and privacy. the large shower and storage in the restroom works well. The dinette is a reasonable space for extra guest, but the seats are too mushy to sit long term or sleep well. The bunk Matt’s are not thick enough , too. The kitchen area is nice and has plenty of storage. The ceilings are extra high which helps . You don’t feel cramped in. I would have liked some color tho. These year models were all merlot cabinet panels, Merlot vinyl cushions, and trim. Dark sand walls and curtains/ blinds. White floors, counters, ceilings. Bright lighting, but the merlot finishes absorb the light. Outdoor space camp kitchen is a good size. Stove eyes, frig, storage drawer. Front storage really roomy. Awning is 21 foot the best!! It fits the trailer front to back. Plenty of lighting under the awning. I did change out the switch to a dimmer. Less bugs at night. Outer finishes are well done, nice wheels, lighting, staircase is the best feature. We love our Imagine, I would live in it , if my wife would Sell her shoes!😎 Show less

Traded in October of 2017 from a Wildwood. We searched the brand and found our size and floor plan. Love our Imagine! The features are great for us. Would have liked a lighter color inside but all in all we like it. Double full size bunks our kids are teens, and tall, fits them well. Bathroom is a good size, large shower, real toilet. Outdoor cooking space, and 21foot awning is the best. Plenty of storage. Unit tows good, good balance. Show less

The brand and quality is first rate. Floor plan - storage is great for young family of 4-6 people. We have pulled the trailer to several location all within a few miles of storage, we have never had issues. We have camped for years and this is my absolute favorite camper so far. Show less
