We looked forever at floor plans trying to find one that would work for teens or adult children. So many have little bunks where they get inside a tube to sleep. Our kids are older so we knew this would not work. We also wanted a big enough floor plan that we could sit inside during inclement weather. I wasn’t initially looking for an island or a fireplace but can tell you that I do love both. This unit has so much storage which is something people complain about often. I love that it sleeps six adults easily. Another thing is that we can all watch one TV together. So often the bunk areas can’t easily view the TV and with this floor plan we can all watch the TV easily. We have had no issues with our unit other than some very small cosmetic things. One of the reasons that attracted us to the Grand Design brand was that they have a really good reputation for a quality unit. I think during Covid when they were making units as fast as they could go (unit years 2021 and 2022) the build quality maybe wasn’t quite as good. We did have an RV inspection done by a third-party before we brought our unit home and I would pay for that again. It gave us peace of mind that all the things worked like they were supposed to before we took it out. It’s a heavy camper so we made sure we had a tow vehicle that could handle the weight. The only thing I wish it had it doesn’t was a king size bed other than that this camper has been perfect. we’ve said many times we’re glad we didn’t buy some of the other floorplans we were looking at because we would have wanted to trade them in already. We just spent $100,000 on a Grand Design Imagine 3210BH just a few months ago. I love the floor plan, the space and storage but that's about all that is good about it. We have had nothing but issues. 1. Outside water tap leaks 2. Septic valve leaks 3. Panel is faulty and Bluetooth doesn't work (the main reason I bought the trailer). I love the accessibility of controlling the trailer through your phone but NO! Ours doesn't work. Even after getting it replaced it doesn't work. 4. Door lock broke. Key just free spins and we had to break into our own trailer. 5. Window screen was not installed properly and broke. 6. Seam covers keep coming off. 7. TV mount installed crooked and screws were stripped. 8. Window covering was installed very off. Only covered 80% of the window. 9. Hot water has already failed. Both gas and electric options don't work. 10. Frame under master bed where you lift up to access storage, is loose and screws are sticking out everywhere. 11. The fender was cracked from screws being tightened too hard. I would not recommend this trailer to anyone. After spending $100,000, you would think it would be better quality than this. NOT HAPPY! We purchased this rv early in year March 2021. We didn’t use until July 13 we thought we would take it out for a trial overnight. Well to begin refrigerator would not keep food cold. Bedroom tv antenna wouldn’t work. Back jack is bent front master bedroom door won’t stay closed. Shower has issues. All compartment locks frozen, trim missing in rear, found large piece of rubber seal laying next to camper? We have owned several rv’s over the years and this one has to be the worst in respect to problems. To top it off can’t get in to dealer for 3 weeks and they said if it needs any parts it could be there for awhile I live in Wisconsin so our season ends end of Augusta. By the time this comes out of winter storage my warranty will be expired.very disappointed Show less

After exhaustive search, we purchased this travel trailer as our first RV. We love it! We had a long list of "non-negotiables", and we were beginning to think nothing was going to work for us. We needed the camper to sleep 8 (4 of whom are adults), but we needed a budget friendly RV. What makes this floorplan unique, is the LR TV is viewable by all. Children on the bunk, people on the jack knife sofa. those in the wonderful recliners, or sitting at the dinette, all can view the TV comfortably. The fireplace below the TV is a wonderful perk. One thing that put the GD 3110BH over the top was having my hubby or adult son stand in the shower and pretend to wash their hair. The GD 3110BH had plenty of room for a 6'3" man to was his hair without knuckle injury. The kitchen has plenty of room for my DIL and I to move around and prepare meals. Plus we both love the full size pantry and all the storage! Speaking of storage, even the bathroom has storage in a wall-hung cabinet with towel bar, and small cubbies beside the nice-sized vanity for individual toiletries. There is even a good sized medicine cabinet. The LR has plenty of storage/drawers and 2 wardrobes for guests! Our son and family have lots of space for their clothes. We all use sleeping bags, and all 9 bags (grand-pup has her own) fit neatly behind the jack knife sofa when it is folded up. Hubby and I fell in love with the "Twig" colors that hover nicely between lt. gray and lt. brown; it gives an airy feel when you step inside. The bedroom has a regular size 60x80 Queen bed with night stand/wardrobes; these nightstands have large niches to accommodate a C-PAP, Kindle, phone chargers, etc. There is also a built-in dresser with more hanging space above. I kept expecting to feel "buyer's remorse" after this purchase, but it never came. We love our Grand Design 3110BH! Drawbacks to this RV are few. No outdoor kitchen or TV, and don't expect a Ford F150 to pull this thing no matter what the owner's manual says. That was my hubby's only regret; he was forced to trade in his beloved 3 month old F150 for a F250 Super Duty. The F150 got the RV off the dealer lot and home to the foothills, but it was a white-knuckled ride with lots of bucking. It was similar to riding a dolphin, up and down, up and down. Hubby later found a video calling it "axel wrapping". All the recommended fixes didn't work, reluctantly, we had to admit that was our one "Oops". Show less
