We bought our Imagine new from the dealer 7/2019. We used it 3 times before we winterized it. In late February we took it to the dealer for some small repairs that it needed before we started using it in the spring. All the items we pointed out were fixed however we were told the slide was out of adjustment and should be worked on. I assumed the factory warranty would cover this...nope, it only has a 90 day warranty on the slide?! Yep that’s right, 33K RV and we paid a $300 repair bill 8 months later. I’m sure industry wide the warranties are similar but that doesn’t make it ok.

I will never buy another Travel Trailer from Grand Design again. I bought a 2018 GRAND DESIGN IMAGINE 2250RK about 1.5 years ago. Had so many problems right from the dealership. Sewer vents were to short and venting sewage gas into the travel trailer, raw sewage spilling all over the floor, electrical breakers kept popping, electrical outlet had no backing, roof has already started coming apart, outside LED's are peeling off, cabinet stain is coming off, nail holes in cabinets, chipped - hook up panel, the list goes on. Grand Design gave me permission to go to social media about this matter, fair enough! They sold me a lemon.

Purchased new in September 2018. Used twice. First trip had to fix all the latches for the screen door and main door. Useless little screws installed all stripped. Waxed the exterior. LED strip at the front peeling off. Driver's side joints in fiberglass all showing, bump out one side moldings scrape against each other, the other side the wall is bowed so looks like crap. Awning leaks in a least 5 places all underneath. Skirting rubs against the stairs, not braced.Interior drawers at entrance don't stay closed, pop open after arriving at camp, center drawers, supposed to be black and mis-colored. Cabinets stapled and showing. Water pump makes trailer shake all over.Panel beside lazy boys bowed out. Excess caulking buttered in back of the cabinet doors. Many more cosmetic issues. They say they are a cut above the rest...obviously not! Pics were sent re: the joints on the exterior walls... they said that was normal!!! Never buy Imagine!

Nails showing everywhere, doors not closing properly, caulking overshoot at every seam, lower skirt outside not even braced so it flaps in the wind, outside door paint already pitted all down one side, LEDs in front peeling off, have to re-glue them, drawers close crooked, should have gone with the Jayco Whitehawk
