Probably one of the best built travel trailers I have ever owned. The build design along with the spacious floor plan makes this a number one choice of travel trailers. This is the perfect family RV. It's light enough to be easily towed and the whole family can spend time together in this great travel trailer. We enjoyed that at 27 feet we could fit into almost any RV spot at least 30 ft and still have plenty of room. There is plenty of storage space and we enjoyed the outside cooktop, where we could make meals outdoors while camping. One of the best features of this RV was the keyless entry. So, every member of our family had access without needing to have their own set of keys. This RV is an all-around perfect RV for a family that enjoys camping and sightseeing together. Show less

Have owned for 2 yrs. Each year atleast 1 shade has broken. Cheaply made. Handles are sharp on cabinets. My wife loves it and the slide was worked on before we owned it. Had 1 blowout on the chinese tires that came on it. Blew out side panels but grand design helped me with replacement parts. They were great to work with. Show less

Grand Design has built a quality product. The Imagine 2670MK is extremely comfortable for shorter or longer stays. We have added convenience items like a 2nd AC in the bedroom. Tankless water heater for continuous hot water. An 18” apartment size dishwasher built into the island. Pantry pullouts top and bottom. 2nd TV in the bedroom. This RV has had light use. We have just decided at our age not to RV anymore. Show less

They'll make you as the consumer, jump through hoops to fix the problems with their units. Calling any idea they have "suggestions" so they can weasel out of coverage of anything done to your unit per their "suggestions" Even if you show them proof of the issues (video, written documentation, multiple witnesses, etc.) and show that the parts they've installed are out of specification - they'll assume no liability leaving you with the bills and an unsafe expensive camper because they choose not to fix it. They'll try to bully you into submission when you stand up to them as well, I've found and anytime they have information that hurts their case further they will call you rather than continue in email correspondence so they can try to lose the paper trails. They'll also tell you that people with 30+ years' experience don't supersede their techs who claim nothing is wrong when they've proven time and time again their products are failing. They'll also blame you - your experience, tow vehicles, hitch(es), everything they can to push blame from their units. In my case the trailers axles were installed 5" out of spec in terms of front to rear positioning, and also have a 1/2" difference between a front & rear hanger diagonally causing sway, bounce, tracking issues, movement etc. in the trailer. I've learned since that I'm not the only owner experiencing this issue and not many have found solutions that work. Those who have, I've tried with no difference made in my particular unit. Now I'm told it's my responsibility to pay a 3rd party out of pocket to prove (again) that there's still an issue. Then, once I do; it must be reviewed by their team before they deem it something they need to fix under their "warranty". I have since found cracks in the trailers frame and gaps / drops throughout the flooring inside. I have filed a report with the NHTSA at this time providing every detail, email, invoice, photo, video proof, and written statement. Show less

This is a wonderful travel trailer. Small for a couple with pets. Love the quality, and towability. Customer service is wonderful. Love the outdoor fridge on this model. Grand Design needs to make more with outdoor kitchens with fridges that are not bunk houses. Show less

The MK 2670 has a good floor plan with lots storage. We bought is specifically for the great kitchen design. Our issue has been with the kitchen slide. We had it worked on while it was still under warranty and within a few months it was not working again. It is out of alignment vertically. We attempted to have it repaired again and were told we should try to learn to live with it because even if they repaired it, it would probably break again due to the poor design. It will go in and out, but it won’t go all the way. When the slide is out, there is a gap of 2-3 inches at the bottom. When the slide is in, the same thing happens at the top. Very frustrating!! Bought this GD 17 MKE after much searching and was very excited when I received possession. My wife and I took a few local trips and was very pleased with the unit until the slide out quit working, it was still under warranty so the dealer replaced both motors, so I thought, no big deal, things happen. Then we decided to make a longer trip from Kentucky to California, about half way there the refrigerator quit working and we had to buy a cooler until we got there where we were able to get it running but we had to bypass some electrical issues but at least it worked temporarily. Then the hot water heated stopped working and is still not working, I replaced the circuit board and it failed too. This means no hot water for showers, doing dishes and other necessities , si it’s still not working. Finally, on our last trip the electric awning quit working, I checked the power and it’s getting power to the motor so I’m pretty sure it’s the motor that’s bad. Since the unit is no longer under warranty, I guess I’m just stuck with it, the dealership says they can fix it but nothing is covered by the warranty. How about it Grand Design, what can I do? Upon taking delivery of the new trailer in 2021 doors wouldn’t stay shut going down road. Water leaks trim falling off awning leaks refrigerator not working ac not functioning properly furnace cycles constantly Lost electrical inside Dealer couldn’t get to us till august for repairs so year one then year two went by problem kept coming up not done then finally year 3 refrigerator repaired. There are still some things not done. Our selling dealer greenway totally sold us a bill of goods of untruths. Had to go find another dealer to do repairs. All this time we couldn’t use couldn’t sell in the condition it was in. Show less

Pros - tall enough for my 6"2" husband. True queen bed great fit for us. Second entry door in bedroom is nice. Armoire is huge and has mirrors as well as 2 closets (one on either side of bed). Shower fits him comfortably. Pass thru bathroom (2 doors - one at bath/bedroom and one at bath/liviingroom) allows me to get up early and go into the living space without waking him up. Seating is great for entertaining friends - we can sit across from each other. Kitchen layout makes sense and is perfect. Living area has comfy recliners and faces the dinette and TV. Cons - After buying new mattress, not alot of room between end of bed and door. Bathroom sink needs upgrade- can barely wash hands in the low faucet set up. Needs stronger pistons for underbid storage once you upgrade mattress. Thats it! Not many cons. Show less
