Really love the layout but it's a vinyl village entry level RV with as much floor space as you can get for the money. Cheaply made, AC frequently blows breaker box, can't use AC with anything else going, constantly blows in hi heat. Great layout but pore quality. You get what you pay. DVD...read more
Really love the layout but it's a vinyl village entry level RV with as much floor space as you can get for the money. Cheaply made, AC frequently blows breaker box, can't use AC with anything else going, constantly blows in hi heat. Great layout but pore quality. You get what you pay. DVD player struggles playing new discs let alone with any form of scratch. Will be excited to upgrade but it was a decent starter rig.

We have loved this camper since Day 1! Great floorplan. Has everything needed for a fun and comfortable camping trip. We camped as short as 2 nights and as long as 8 weeks and it has worked out great. We slept 6 adults while at the Grand Canyon. Of course, the 2 on the dinette really have to like each other, but it was awesome! Great Storage for this size travel trailer. We are moving up to a larger trailer and we focused on Keystone products, since we had such good luck with this one.

This travel trailer has served us well. Over many extended camping trips it has not had a malfunction. I can say that we are impressed by the build quality. It is light and my truck can tow it easily. I haven't even needed a weight distribution hitch. The interior space and features are impressive for a camper this size. I had some questions a few times and had no trouble getting Keystone customer support on the phone. They were always very helpful and pleasant to speak with.

As with many of the other reviewers we really liked the layout and thought we were buying quality. As we started to look around we realized the poor workmanship throughout. The biggest issue is the siding on the driver side bowing out on the road. My understanding is that it is off of the brackets that hold it to the trailer. NOT COVERED by warranty after 1 year. The cost to repair is $800-$1500. The tire skirt also is continently coming loose and must be re-screwed every trip.

My husband and I enjoyed camping in the Hideout. It has plenty of room, storage and nice amenities. We love the automatic Awning, the outside Kitchen and LED lights. We'd probably switch out all lights with LEDs. The bed is Very comfortable and love that the TV will rotate around so we can watch it in bed. The other bunks are great and family members say they sleep fine, as well as the grandkids on the dining table/bed. I wish we had just a shower instead of combo, but bathroom works good for us. Kitchen(inside) is roomy and looks really nice with the stainless steel appliances!
