I have used my travel trailer mostly for work assignments out of state. It was the perfect size for my wife and I, and would still be ok with 2-3 smaller kids or 2 bigger kids. The king size bed was the main point in getting this particular RV because it’s what we are used to at home. I would recommend it as a first timer as well as for experienced travelers. Show less

Bought a 2021 heartland north trail, brand new off the lot. Drove it to Northern California ( literally rains hardly ever), as a travel nurse. Parked it there for 10 months. Right before coming back to Wisconsin, we noticed the slide out floor was separating. We were getting it winterized, so had our dealer check it out. We were told the floor on the slide out was rotted, and would cost 4500 plus to replace. We got the extended warranty. Doesn't cover it. Contacted insurance. Was told by them it was a manufacturer issue. Contacted Heartland, who now wants to blame us. Saying it was a seal maintenance issue.....again please note was in California, in a place it rarely rains. Show less

We owned a North Trail 24BHS for about 5 years. This travel trailer has all the conveniences you need in a nice compact trailer. It's comfortable to live in, easy to maintain, and just as easy to tow around on the road. We are a family of 4, the bunk bed layout provided the right amount of space for our family; the kids were even able to bring friends out camping with us. Camping is meant for enjoying the outdoors, and this camper has the storage space to hold all of your outdoor equipment. The outdoor kitchen has everything you need, refrigerator, stove, a sink, and electrical outlets. Grab the foldout chairs and grill from storage, setup your station, and you could spend the whole day/evening cooking, eating and drinking. The Heartland North Trail 24BHS is as perfect as perfect can be for a smaller size light weight RV. There's nothing to not like about it. Show less

This travel trailer has been awesome. We bought it brand new in 2018. Yes it’s 3 years old now and has some dents and dings, but most of all it is very sufficient for us. We have been able to make it into the camper we want. We changed the bottom bunk into a storage area that can become a bunk again with a plank of wood. The roof on the outside is laid out in a way that we were able to add solar panels. We like the outside kitchen area as extra storage space. The sink and stove are still there, we removed the Ice chest. The storage underneath is large. There is storage under dining table seats and the bed. We use our trailer 4-6 months out of the year. It is easy to tow with Blue Ox tow gear. With it being 3 years old, we have had to change out the mattress with a much nicer one. The original wore out real quick. We are seeing the trim coming loose and having to brad it back into place. We have had to add more white tacks to the shower panels as they buckle away from the wall when there is humidity. We have had small issues that aren’t too hard to fix or replace. Like every other year, we grease the bearings and make sure they are in good shape; however, we lost one wheel bearing this summer. It was an easy fix, but we had to monitor it often because of using the original bent and worn out D washer. The bearing buddy kept popping off. It’s all fixed now. We absolutely enjoy our travel trailer! Show less

Very dusappointed. First trip out many issyes. Holes in walls, no caking throughout trailor. Hole in outside of fiberglass on under left side, sesl under refrigerator is incomplete, causing a leak. Its a mess. Show less

Bought this trail brand new sight unseen this year approximately 2 weeks ago as of writing this review. On the first trip it seemed as if things were going well. It was a little tough to tow even with the WD Hitch from Blue Ox. It was liveable enough and the kids loved the bunks. The king bed is quire firm and resulted in soreness each morning. Good news is everything seemed to work as it should...Until... When we arrived home we noticed that there are many screws around the skirting that heads have broken off. One of the screw heads on the slide out on the front bottom broke off. On the back wall of the slide out there is a crack in the wall and a star shaped crack/bullseye in the fiberglass. A panel on the refrigerator door fell out/off. While using it the first night and walking around with socks on, there is something underneath the vinyl flooring that causes it to have a big lump just in front of the fridge, bunks, bathroom door in the middle of the floor that will result in the vinyl tearing. It appears as if it is some sort of screw head or glob of glue about the size of a half dollar that is raised the thickness of a half dollar. I cannot rate the warranty on the trailer accurately as the dealer will not accept it back until the 14th to work on it. My feelings at the moment are that they will take care of it but that isn't known for sure. Keeping fingers crossed. Actually disappointed that something 2 weeks old has this many problems already and some are structural with the slide out exterior walls and broken exterior screws. Show less

This travel trailer has been flawless. The floor plan is perfect for us. The outside kitchen was the selling. point. The quality is very good. We have used in in late fall and furnace worked fine. The only thing that could improved on is an owners manual. I believe they have an app for them now. Show less

During my first summer with this RV, it started to fall apart. Wall panels coming off or warping, the metal trim in the lower bunk bed bent, trim in the bathroom and by the kitchen sink cupboards etc... Very frustrating!! A couple weeks into my second summer and suddenly the fridge and all outlets except for 2 stop working. It's currently being fixed, but my 1 year warranty expired and now my 7 year extended warranty may not cover any of the work. What's the point of buying something new if it's just going to fall apart? Poorly made and very disapointing. Made an exciting purchase go downhill fast. Never again will I buy this brand and I'll tell anyone who asks not to bother either. Show less
